I had the privilege of meeting Jermaine Kelly from AZ Air Conditioning and Heating. We discussed the new system to be installed in my home and he was very helpful and knowledgeable of all the different options available to me. This company is so prompt and everything is going just as Jermaine explained to me. The first crew for asbestos removal showed up right on time on Tuesday seven am. The second crew (Byron and his team) showed up on time Wednesday with all the new equipment and went to work. They covered the carpeting and started removal of the old system and started installation of the new system. I am very impressed with the work ethics of this company and the team of diligent workers. I highly recommend to anyone that is in need of a new heating and cooling system. Or any other HVAC issues that might come up. Costco sent this outstanding company. I have nothing but praise for these workers. And I mean hard workers! Michael Fitzpatrick read more

We just had a AC unit installed. Everything went smoothly. We needed to upgrade the power panel too. Everything was arranged and done quickly. The installers were polite and left the house very clean after the work. We now have a cool house in the hot valley. We highly recommend AZ. read more

This company just installed a/c on my entire 1600 sq ft. house. I am very, very satisfied. Especially, with the people that I dealt with - I know there are many unsung heroes behind the stage -. Juan (sales), Byron (Lead), Angel R, Gerber, Seberino, Guillerno, and the electrician (didn't get his name) were all very professional, respectful, and friendly. They made sure to wear a mask all the time, keep social distance, made sure to not make any type of damage to the floors, walls or any area they were working on. Everything was very clean after they finished. They finished a not-so-small installation (4 mini-splits with a multi-zone condenser - in one day. We needed some help the following day, called Juan, and two other friendly, capable technicians came and took good care of our concerns. I absolutely recommend because of this team. Many companies can install the exact same equipment, but the team above made a big difference with what we received. read more

DJ was sent to address an issue with a brand new split unit AC installation. Once installed the system showed no signs of life. A technician had visited the evening after the install and diagosed the problem as "board level" ... so internal and requiring parts. DJ arrived with the parts in hand. He then removed the covers on the air handler and looked at the existing board. He discovered that the issue was related to QC. The assembly was incorrect as several terminals were not properly connected during the manufacturing process. He connected the internal wiring using the replacement part as a "blueprint" and the system came up immediately. I was very happy that the board did not actually have to be replaced. Kudos to DJ for taking the time to find the issue and fix it in a simple and expedient manner. read more

This company is phenomenal!! We had them put in a heater and David Sean came out to talk to us first and give us the bid. Love the way he interacted with us, at no point did I feel like he was too pushy or obnoxious like a car salesman. Christine called to make sure we were still available for the appointment and let us know that everyone was on time and would be there as promised. These two people are a great asset to A-Z Air Conditioning. The men (Nino, Taco, Jr, Sabarino and Leo) who did the actual install were quick and professional. Came at 8:30 with all that was needed for the job. They were very careful with everything in my home so nothing was damaged, work was done in one day and they had it all cleaned up and out by 3:30-4:00 pm. read more

This is a review only for the quoting process, they did not perform any work. They contacted me trough Costco request I made, good with scheduling, calling to verify appointment etc. Yasmin showed up on time and was extremely nice, my wife and I decided we wanted this company to do the work. Promised a written quote with two options the next day. Two days later I emailed Yasmin, she promised a quote the next day. Two days later again same thing and again nothing. We ended up waiting days in end and promise after promise not kept. So although the company had good reviews, we got a good feeling during the visit, we could never get AZ to follow up. So took a few hours off work to meet Yasmin, then wasted more time trying to get a quote so I could give them money and work. If a company is too busy to provide a quote tell the customer, don't waste people's time. read more

We had AZ come out and give us a quote and we were very pleased with their offer. We got a new AC, a new return, a whole House fan and two attic fans with awesome warranty. We had it all installed within two days. I cannot say enough positive things about MARIO and the crew. Mario was great to work with, responsive, professional, and the crew had it all working within a few hours. Great experience. I recently tried to install a Smart Thermostat myself and somehow crossed some wires. Jose the technician came and he was great. He listened to what I had done and then went to work. He quickly found the wiring issue at the furnace and fixed it. Jose took the time to explain what happened and how he fixed it. I will definitively be using them going forward for all my HVAC maintenance and repair. The office staff was great too. They actually called to to advise they could move up my appt to the next day! read more

I am a happy returning customer of AZ Air and Heating. i had my first unit installed in 2016 at my mom's house through a Costco promotion and now my husband and I got a new unit at our house just a few weeks ago. When we met with sales rep, Rey Gutierrez, from AZ so that he can explain the current promotion Costco offers for our house I started to talk about some concerns I had with the unit at my mom's house. Rey was very patient and attentive to listening to my concerns about the unit at my mom's house. He did a wonderful job at juggling all the questions and recommendations for both homes. I appreciated his honesty and genuine interest in trying to help us make a good decision that was within our budget for both houses. Rey went above by reaching out to his manager to help me with a discount for an Attic Fan at my mom's house to help with cooling the home, as well as a maintenence check-up for the unit. The attic fan has helped with cooling my mom's house. There's some maintenance to be done to really clear up the problem so that'll get done soon. All in all Rey and AZ Air have been helpful, honest and quick at taking care of the issues! read more

This is the second time AZ put in a full HVAC system for me, both times through Costco. The first time was at my first townhouse that didn't have a system at all. The newly installed system worked perfectly and eventually I sold that place and moved into my new place that had an existing system. The new house was 22 years old and it was evident the existing system was just as old. It still worked though, it was not very efficient and was extremely loud when the condenser kicked on so it was time for an upgrade. The AZ rep that came out to give an estimate, Rey Gutierrez, was very helpful with all of our questions and was not very pushy either which I liked. He didn't try to push the most expensive system and would explain how some of the pricier equipment was excessive based off our square footage and number of occupants. When he found out I was a repeat customer he worked with his manager to reduce the cost and worked with us to add some features. We are REALLY glad we went with the whole house fan for some of these cooler nights and the regular AC works perfect for those not so cool nights. Much more efficient and quiet. My family is very happy with the results! read more

This company was exceptional. They provided great customer service, and were honest and efficient. AZ was the third company we went to for our AC needs. At this point we had already spent a couple thousand on repairs with another company. DJ was our repairman. He was knowledgeable, kind and very helpful. When it came down to sales, we handled it with Jermaine. He was really easy to talk to and made our purchase process very easy. From our very first call, to their continued follow up calls we have been very happy with this company. Highly recommend! read more

We recently had an HVAC unit installed by AZ Air Conditioning and Heating. The final inspection with the city was completed yesterday. AZ had Inspector Ozzy come out to meet with the city inspector in the event there might be any questions or concerns. Inspector Ozzy was professional, polite, knowledgeable and very conscientious. He called in advance to advise of the time when the inspection was to happen and showed up exactly when he said he would. He did a pre-inspection before the City inspector arrived to be sure everything was as it should be, as well as making sure that I didn't have any questions regarding the inspection process. He provided information about the maintenance program without any pressure to purchase the plan and made sure I didn't have any questions before he left. I was very pleased and satisfied with Ozzy's performance. I would highly recommend this company for any air conditioning or heating projects. Every step in the process was easy. I was quite pleased with each team member in all aspects. The initial meeting, the two gentlemen explained our options with no pressure. The install was quick. The guys who worked on the install were very polite and respectful of our home and did a very good job of keeping the house clean throughout the process. The front office scheduled both the state and city inspections, just another thing I didn't have to worry about. They even assisted with the rebates from the various utility companies, which I wasn't unaware of. Overall, completely satisfied. read more

I had this company come out for routine service and to redo my vents. In less than a month my air conditioning stopped working. I called the company and they sent someone out, 5 days later! 30 minutes after they left the air conditioner stopped working. I was given an appointment 3 days later. The day before the appointment they called to cancel the appointment and they said they'd call me when they had another one available. I went ballistic! They somehow managed to get someone out. Within 30 minutes after they left the air conditioning stopped working. I called and left a message. In the morning I called another company and he was out in 3 hours. My air conditioning works. AZ called back at 10 am and I obviously cancelled the appointment and my service contract. The guys that came out were very nice but didn't seem to know what they were doing. The office staff are well trained at being calm but not listening. I wouldn't do business with them again. read more

AZ Air Conditioning installed our new Lennox HVAC system in April 2016, purchased through Costco. The installation was flawless, and the unit is amazing. However, the first couple of 6-month service visits didn't go well. The service technicians were not very good and left us feeling very uncomfortable. After those first couple of visits, our 6-month service visits have been great. We are very grateful to Joseph, who serviced our unit last April, and to Aaron, who serviced it last October. Both of those technicians were superb. They were competent, professional, and very polite and friendly. After spending almost $20,000 for a top-of-the-line HVAC system, it is very nice to feel secure and confident about the technicians who are servicing it. read more

A few months ago we moved into a townhouse and needed to replace the heating, cooling and hot water systems in the house. We knew this was going to be a big expense and wanted to make sure we chose the right company. We found AZ thru Costco and were glad that Costco uses them. Jermaine and the installation team were all great people and made sure we were happy and satisfied throughout the process. A part from a little hiccup of the AC we originally bought being too big for the space (which was quickly resolved) we were very pleased. We will definitely use them again. read more

Outrageous prices! This outfit doesn't deserve to be Costco contractor. I received a quote of almost $9k just for condenser unit and have similar quality unit installed for half this price!! When I pointed this out to sales rep she responded that Lennox and their installers are somehow better than Carrier factory authorized dealers- just an insult. I've been in this business in the 1990s and know the prices, hence I expected much better pricing from Costco contractor. I was initially just disappointed with Costco but after sales rep follow discussion I am outraged! read more

I just went into my attic to place some new coins in a tote I had stored there. The only people other than me to be in the attic were the air conditioning installers from AZ. There were thousands of dollars of silver coins missing. I normally wouldn't think to make a point out of this without evidence but they were the only people who had access to my attic other than myself. The coins were burried behind numerous crates and getting to them would not have been something a burglar would ever consider, especially taking into account the jewelry, watches and guns that would have been available. read more

My A/C system went out during the last heat wave. I called Zacky at AZ Air Conditioning and asked if he could get a replacement for me a.s.a.p. He sent a crew of four men the very next morning , with a brand new 4 ton Air Conditioner. They removed the 18 year old system, flushed the line from my centralized unit in my attic to the condenser unit in the back of my house. They finished the job in one day and my house had cold air once again. The crew was very professional and worked as a well coordinated team. They showed up at 8:00 am and stayed until they were finished at around 5:00 pm. The main technician checked the system and made sure that I knew how to operate the digital controls. I am a licensed General Contractor and own a retail store in West Los Angeles. I have over a dozen installers and service technicians in my business. I have used Zacky and his company for twenty five years at my house and for all of my businesses. He has always given me excellent service and his employees have always been very reliable and professional. I normally don't write reviews but felt compelled to do so this time. This review should be a solid five stars if I were to base it on the work of the installers. "Nino" and his crew were thorough and very professional. I think the material used and every aspect of this was exceptionally good. The one disqualifier is the follow up by the sales department. This was including bonuses and rebates through Costco. Once these issues were satisfied, so was I. read more

Our A/C died in the middle of a heat wave - of course! After quick research of a few different companies in our area we came across AZ. They came out for a quote the same day and gladly followed all our covid safety requirements. We coordinated with Rey Gutierrez who was fantastic. He patiently answered all our questions, was immediately responsive and available at all hours! He talked us through all the options but never used hard pressured sales tactics. The crew was efficient and thorough and they even added some extras at no cost. They worked so hard in 95% heat, masked to protect our family and respectful of our home. Cannot recommend this company enough! The 10-year warranty is above and beyond what most others offer. AZ has our business as long as we live in SoCal. :-) read more

I found this company through Costco and got their help repairing my old AC unit. Later when my unit needed replacing, I called them again and had a great experience: they gave me quotes on everything I asked for, were fast and efficient (completing the install in a day), and were clean and professional from start to finish. I recently had the new ducts inspected and the loss was 4.8%, which is within code and will not require adjustments moving forward. I'll definitely be coming back for future services. read more

These guys have an awesome technology and if you value ultra high quality purified and softened water in your home, you'll get all that with great professional service. CT is an excellent facilitator to take you all the way through the process. The lead man was Mike Mendoza who negotiated the sale and arranged the calendaring for the work. He was very knowledgeable, courteous and very responsive in answering all of our questions. We had a wide range of questions from assessing our needs to finding compatible equipment for our specific needs and, just as importantly, the cost of the job. He was a master of follow up and follow through. We could not have hoped for anyone better. The installation team was equally impressive. They confirmed the appointment a day or 2 ahead and they arrived right on time. The crew (5 or 6) worked like an army of ants, each of whom knew his job. The crew went well out of the way to protect the inside of our home during the work and that was very appreciated. Conversation with them was cordial and professional. They were efficient, organized and they even finished the job ahead of schedule . An impressive performance. We will be repeat customers of AZ Air Conditioning and Heating and we offer our unconditional recommendation on their behalf. read more

I'd been renting an older home for a couple of years and finally bought the place last summer. There was no AC and the duct work was asbestos, and cracked. We had no fan at all only for the heater. The heating system was over 50 years old. It was time for a new system so we could tolerate the summer and also not worry about asbestos in the winter. A salesman in Costco told me it's a great company and I was lured in by the 10% Costco card. I left them my information and got a call back the same day. The next day, Yasmin, a super smart and friendly rep, came to my place. She inspected everything, including climbing up in the attic. She came up with the same conclusion as my house inspector. I needed a new system. The AC was an add on (that we'd planned on) as we figured we should add it on now to improve the home's value. We had the large starting price, applied some seasonal discounts and other things. In the end, it was higher than I wanted to spend but I also felt confident in the product and the service. Yasmin was fantastic in easing our concerns and didn't push at all. That was a Friday I think. Saturday we had an independent Abatement person out to remove the asbestos-suggested by AZ. That was a lot less expensive that I predicted. Monday, several trucks of men showed up right around 8am. They were professional and clean and friendly. Different teams worked on different jobs and it was extremely well orchestrated. They took a lunch break and got right back to it. Remarkably, by 4:15 they were done! The main person showed us how to use the shiny new thermostat-which they relocated. He also had me plug something into the modem so we can access it remotely. They ran electrical wires, added the AC unit and even gave me a new outside outlet I didn't have before which was a nice bonus. We haven't used the AC yet except to try it but the heat kicks in at night and it's very quiet and works much better with the new duct work. I got follow up calls to make sure I was happy with the system. They sent out an inspector to check it over before the town does. Today I received a package from them to call the town inspector. All my permit applications and forms were included and filled out, I just have to make the call. Oh, and last week we got our large Costco gift card-took about 2-3 weeks. This was a wonderful experience all around. Yes I could have gotten this cheaper but with the warrantees, good product, the ties to Costco, and the lightning speed and professionalism, I would rather pay a little more for peace of mind. read more

Jesus took $150 from my 92 year old mother and did nothing. He checked the air conditioning by bypassing wires to see if it worked, which it did, and then told her there was nothing he could do because 'in his opinion', the thermostat was bad, which he installed in Nov. 2022, buying it through Home Depot, and that's how we got AZ Air & Heating, from the installers list from Home Depot. Then, he had the audacity to tell my visually impaired 92 year old mother that when she gets another thermostat he would come back and ONLY CHARGE HER $99 for the installation. REALLY?!! Why would she spend another hundred bucks on top of the $150 (producing no solutions) she already spent for this so-called technician to blame products instead of workmanship? I called 2 times to the main office and left 2 messages for Jesus to call me... crickets! No call back, nothing! Recommend AZ Air & Heating? No way. I wouldn't subject family or friends to incompetent workmanship and lack of empathy for the elderly where they leave the property with no solutions, no options, other than tell a 92 year old woman, "It's on you lady!" read more
