I LOVE this particular Dutch Bros. The staff is extremely polite and they truly know how to make a crazy good Freeze. Here's my crazy order A large non fat freeze with vanilla and mocha flavoring, float 2 shots and make it picture perfect!!! They NAIL it every time. But they have been closed because of the fires, although every other business is open as usual for some reason they have one that was in dangers way open and other two that were miles away from danger, closed. I didn't know about Dutch Bros until I moved up to Redding. I am a regular Starbucks-goer, but this place is open 24hrs/day, a plus for any college student. This place is good if you like sweet drinks. I haven't tried black coffee, so I don't know how it is. I have, however, tried the Annihilator and Mocha. The drinks are really good, but if you don't like sweet drinks, you obviously wouldn't get a mocha anyway. I tried adding a shot, and it still didn't even out the sweetness. Some cool stuff to keep in mind: If you get an iced drink, they give you a large for the price of a medium, you can add free syrup, and extra shots are only 25 cents more. The Baristas are friendly, maybe too much so. I'm not sure if flirting is encouraged or if it just happens that way. read more

We got the Islander freeze, a blended Hawaiian and some hot green tea (sore throats/colds suck!) wish we caught their names, but they made our drinks quick, wished us luck on our long night drive and hooked us up with a couple extra stamps on our punch card. The guy that was taking the orders was very invasive and asked us way too many questions other than us order. When we told him our order several times, he said he blacked out and wanted us to repeat again. I feel like this guy was hitting on me or my girlfriend. I LOVE Dutch Bros! Their coffee is delicious and their employees are so fun! I've literally sat in my car for 5-10 minutes chatting with one of the employees (it wasn't busy, so I wasn't keeping anyone from their caffeine fix, promise!). The music is good and the atmosphere is so fun! Plus, its the best coffee I've had! So much better than Starbucks. My favorite is a blended vanilla mocha with caramel and extra caramel :) Plus, they are open 24 hours! ER-911s are great for 2 AM study breaks! I just wish there was one closer to campus. I second the first review. Bad. The espresso in the drinks is weak. I got a flavored drink which was weak and overly sweet. I started having an allergic reaction right away. It makes one wonder what is in some of the syrups. I have ordered many flavored coffee drinks (mochas and such) from different establishments and this is one of the worst. I like this Dutch. Normally everyone is nice and cheerful but not the last time I went there. There was a one car in front of me and one on the other side. There was a girl standing there and she took my order and then I pulled up, and she went inside. A guy that worked there was leaning his whole body out of the window talking to whoever was in the car in front of me (guessing his gf). For 5 minutes he was leaning in and out of the window kissing and holding hands with the girl. Then a diff girl walked over and started leaning out holding the hand. Finally got the drink and they still Sat there talking. I think they saw me getting irritated so they finally let her go. When I pulled up they took my cards and handed them back with the drink and didn't say goodbye or anything. I pulled off and my ice was melted in my Tea. Very disappointed! read more

Even though the customer service isn't always great. This was my go to spot for personal and business orders. Besides the girl who took my order at the window I had the worst customer experience ever. I ordered 12 drinks gave a 15% tip and paid $72.39. I was asked to move to the side while they finished my drinks, understandable. While I waited I listened while they apologized to the next 5 vehicles, and gave them all free drinks for their wait, there where two or more people in each vehicle. They waited until the 4th vehicle to bring me a hand written receipt, but not my remaining four drinks. I told the girl what I witnessed and asked if I could have a stamp card for my wait and how much I just spent and I was still waiting for my 4 remaining drinks while they made the drinks for the vehicles that came after me. She states, didn't you get your 12 stamps? I replied yes I did, but those were for the purchases I made, she then very rudely said well that's all your getting. When they finished with the 5th vehicle they brought my 4 remaining drinks out. I asked the guy who brought them out, the same question, mind you at that time I had already waited 28 minutes for the reminder of my order, they must have spoken with each other because he said the exact same thing. I asked for information, number or an email so I could send a comment and he said they had nothing, try looking on line. Needless to say I will not be returning to that location. read more

But every time I go in the afternoon evening ish it's horrible! I literally never get what I order. It always ends up super watered down and looks like they made it 30 minutes ago. Every time I drive through Dutch Bros, I leave happy! I love that they have coconut milk. My kids LOVE the smoothies and blended drinks, my hubby orders the six shot 911, and I usually order my drinks 1/2 sweet and they are perfect. They have some fun drinks such as the Chris and the cookie that are off menu items and I love the fact that you don't have to pay extra for the flavors or shots. We always make out cheaper then at Starbucks, plus Dutch Bros does something almost monthly for the community that we live in. I have never seen Starbucks contribute anything to Redding. So as you can see I am a loyal Dutch Brose fan! read more
