If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Usually, I am a huge Dutch Bro fan and love their passion fruit tea with lemonade. Today me and my sister went to Dutch Bro's, and by the time we got home, I thought there was a hair on the outside of my cup. When I swipe my finger to get rid of the hair, I realized that the hair was actually on the inside and was intertwined around my drinking straw. I was infuriated and immediately drove back to this location. When we walked up to the window, I asked the man for him to remake my sisters unsanitary drink. Not only did he have an unwilling attitude to remaking my sisters drink, but he also refused to remake mine, which could have been equally contaminated. He admitted that the hair was his and said," I made both of your drinks, so the hair was probably mine, do you want me to remake this new one because the chances of having a hair in it will be the same for every drink I make." My sister and I both stared at him with shock. In a disgusting tone, he said "Would you like me to get somebody else to make this drink." We said, "No, we just don't want our drinks to be unsanitary with hair in them." We walked away as he rolled his eyes at us. We will never come back here again. read more

I'm from Chicago visiting some friends and they hyped this place up and demanded to take me so I can see whats up. My first impression is that I really like the look of their building. It's super cute, and the name is catchy, however, their coffee is from Brazil, Columbia, and Guatemala (don't quote me on that last one), basically it's anything BUT dutch. I got an iced Double Torture. It has vanilla mocha with four shots of espresso, I believe. I got almond milk instead of regular milk though. It was good but not as hyped as all my friends made it seem to be honest. They forgot my whipped cream on top and it didn't taste like there was almond milk in it. Beware of lines! Whether you're just walking up or ordering from the drive thru, expect to wait a minimum of 25 minutes! They definitely don't try to hurry and speed up service even though the place seems to be high demand (for some odd reason). The employees are chatty when it's finally your turn to order which can be a good or bad thing depending on the customer, but this might account for why the lines move so slow and would be a bad choice if youre trying to get somewhere fast. Overall I think I need to come back here next time I'm in AZ just to give them another chance. It's definitely good coffee but just not as hyped as it was made out to be and the wait isn't really worth it to me especially since I'm from a city where efficiency is key. An employee with the name that rhymes with schmisabelle tipped herself and signed for me without my knowledge. I am pretty sure this is illegal on multiple accounts. The manager with a name that rhymes with Scharley was very condescending and rude when I asked for a receipt and proceeded to inquire about the situation as if I was the one at fault. I tip regardless. If you need to be stealing from customers to make ends meet, maybe look for a job elsewhere. I am still awaiting a response from corporate as to how they intend to rectify the situation. read more

Dutch Bros is an easy 5 star based on the product alone however the people that work at this location are all 10s!! I didn't catch our drive thru girl's name but she was super awesome! We had some friends from California with us whom had never experienced the loveliness that is Dutch Bros. She was super helpful and hospitable to out Az visitors and even comp'ed their drinks! The guy taking my order freaked! He was so nice and funny. Made me laugh which is hard before my morning caffeine boost. My family used to go to Dutch Bros all the time when we lived up in the North West, but there aren't any of these shops in Texas... so when we passed by one, we HAD to stop by. It's been a long time since we've come to a Dutch Bros and we were not disappointed at all. This is the best coffee company we've ever ordered from, hands down. The service at this particular cafe was exceptional, and quick. The employees were helpful, polite and just fun to talk to. I went here at around 9pm and the place was so lively and welcoming. The coffee itself was amazing too, I ordered a triple shot expresso on ice with cream, no sugar. My family also ordered a Shark Attack and a four-shot expresso on ice. When we first received the drinks, we were delighted to see how large the drinks sizes were. My brother enjoyed the Shark Attack, with its unique, sweet flavors. My coffee was rich and smooth. Let me tell you it is 100 percent worth the wait. My friend and I were on our way to the airport and this was our first time there. I had the Carmel pumpkin brûlée it was one of the best coffees I ever had. The girl in the drive thru was very friendly and we found out we were both from the same neck of the woods. She even gave us our drinks on the house because it was our first time. I wish there was one in Chicago. Overall amazing drinks and couldn't ask for a friendlier staff. Visited for my 1st time this afternoon after seeing multiple locations on and popping whenever I'd pass by. I'm new to the area, recently relocated from out of state, and OMG am I glad I stoped by today!! The drive thru was packed when we pulled up, but they had someone outside running down the line (similar to Chick Fil A) so I tried pulling up the menu on Yelp... holy moly was not expecting so many choices... thank goodness DrewBy was outside... he got to our car and was AWESOME in recommending some drinks for our first visit (came by with my dad and my husband). Told him it was our first visit and he was easily able to recommend drinks to our cravings by asking what is usually our go-to. Not to mention he's got an awesome personality, easy to talk to and I would drive all the way back to this area just to say what's up to this dude ha! I totally trusted his recommendation and it did NOT disappoint!! I'm a caramel macchiato type gal and I wanted something more unique. He recommended the Golden Eagle which has a English toffee taste ... sooo god! My dad was craving a smoothie and chose a Blueberry Pomegranate for the ones recommended... he says is flavorful. My husband is a mocha man and couldn't resist the iced Sugar Cooke Mocha. He says it's great (as evident from the half drunken cup by the time I could snag a pic). Overall, I'm IMPRESSED. They blew Starbucks out of the water! I also got their membership stamp card... it'll be full soon, I know it. First time at a Dutch Bros. It's a tiny place that is drive thru or walk up only. No seating inside. I'm very baffled by their name compared to their "look". With their name and logo I was expecting an old fashioned type of place. This is not so. I pulled up to see the menu and was surprised to read the name of their drinks. "The annihilator" and "dbl torture". I noticed a soft techno beat coming through, what I thought were, speakers outside. I placed my order with a very well caffeinated, perky, young man and pulled ahead. When I reached the window I found the music was being blared from the inside. 2 guys in their 20's were busily preparing drinks and chatting up their customers. I didn't say much being that I was hungover. My barista tried very hard to strike up casual convo with me but I just wasn't feeling it. I would have appreciated it on any other day. The young man finished my drink then insisted I taste it to make sure I liked it. Nice touch. It was AMAZEBALLS. I got the frozen white chocolate mocha. Kind of tasted like a chocolate malt. There wasn't a strong coffee after taste like you get with Starbucks. After I told the barista it was incredible he suggested something else similar to try next time. I will for sure be back. Probably twice a week. It's a mile from my house. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is the price. They have low overhead with a building that size and their drinks cost the same as Starbucks. I would have loved to see a medium drink under $4. But, they do have a punch card which gives a free drink for every 10 stamps and Tuesday is double stamp day. The girl who took my order at the car was very rude and interrupted me multiple times to verify that I wanted my cold brews iced and when I was confused she condescendingly added that you could get cold brew hot. A) Its pretty much the same price as Starbucks, but they don't have confusing sizes, I want a large not a grande viente whatever the "bucks" has. Small, Medium, Large; easy peasy. And if you've never been there before they don't look at you like you're crazy B) Friendliness, I've never had a single employee be rude to me, and they're all down to chat if they're not to busy. And they act this way to everyone, regulars or people who have never been there. C) Free coffee: Buy 10 drinks get the 11th free, and if you go Tuesdays its 2 punch Tuesday, so if you went 5 Tuesdays in a row, free coffee. Does Starbucks do this? No. I've had one bad drink, ever. Been going here for a few months and felt it was time to share my findings. I'm a Starbucks regular, but sometimes I like to step off the beaten path for something new. This place has great service and best of all a great product that helps me to make it through the day. I usually get a drip coffee or a soy chai. The drip coffee has a great roasted taste that beats the heck out of the pike roast at Starbucks. It's a trendy place with fun music and a staff that has fun doing what they do! Sometimes 5 stars means they made you feel like these guys were you're best friends while you were there. Sometimes 5 stars means you got the best service and the best beverage, and sometimes it means they were complete gangsters at their jobs. I just experienced all the above. I met Daniel who took my order or really helped me piece together everything I love and crafted it into a complete master order. Honestly, I never know what to say when I order coffee drinks. I talk it over with my friend the night before and she gives me this amazing list of things to say that will taste so good in a coffee. I pull up, and look at the screen shot of the list she sent me and I buckle. So today I was actually able to work thru my weirdness and find what I really like. I give praise to my friend Brit and my home boy Daniel. Today was the start of a new day! I and am so thankful for my experience at Dutch Bros.
