My wife and I enjoy smoothies, and our regular local smoothie place closed recently. We have known about Paradise Juice for quite some time but had never given it a try until this past weekend. I went Saturday morning and got a smoothie after working out. I had an all-around positive experience and would consider going back for another smoothie and perhaps other food or drink items in the future. I arrived mid-morning on a Saturday where several people were enjoying smoothies or juices outside. When I went inside, there was only one other family inside getting their orders. I went right up front and spoke to the employee about their recommendations and how everything worked. I signed up for their loyalty club and placed an order for a fruit smooth (Tropical Strawberry consisting of strawberry, pineapple, orange, and banana though I left out the banana). It was ready quite quickly and was very tasty and fruity. Paradise Juice is locally owned and has been in service since 2000 as the blend fresh fruits, vegetables, and superfoods into energizing and vibrant drinks. Their mission is to serve real, refreshing goodness. They serve seasonal smoothies, superfood smoothies, super smoothies, Valley favorite smoothies, fruit smoothies, vegetable juices, acai bowls, sandwiches and wraps, breakfast items, salads, bakery items, and more. This is one of two Paradise Juice locations (with the other being in Arcadia). This place had amazing juices and smoothies. 10/10 smoothie bowls The service was kind and helpful. The cafe was clean and had plenty of seating for such a small establishment. I tried the smoothie was called golden power with turmeric, ginger, dates, almond milk and banana. I opted to leave the honey out and it was perfect. My daughter tried the cherry blossom. I gladly drive 15 miles out of my way just to come here, which should tell you how good this place is. The prices are great, the staff is always friendly, and the service is amazing. A lot of the time my shake is already being made when I walk in and I do not even have to give them my name. That level of service is hard to find. The shakes taste incredible. My favorite is the 5 Protein Shake. I normally do not even like peanut butter, but I love the peanut butter in this shake. That should tell you how good it is. If this place was closer I would probably be here all the time. Maybe someday they will open another location closer to me. Until then, it is still worth the 15 mile drive every time. read more

We were in the area and decided to stop at a random parking lot that seemed to have a "juice place". What luck that it was Paradise Juice! We got a strawberry mix smoothie, a blueberry mix smoothie, and a chocolate chip muffin. Our first sip of the smoothie was literally a "whoa this is ridiculously good!" Smoothies are rich, fruity, and excellent. I don't know how the muffin was but based on my daughter wolfing it down and not letting me try it, I'd have to say it's a winner too! I love smoothie places like these, it puts those large smoothie chains to shame. So much better at places like this! They had a sign on the side that said "thanks for 20 years" which shows they've been around a long time in the neighborhood. I wish I lived closer to this place! read more

I had a build your own açaí bowl with almond butter, strawberries, banana and blueberries. The açaí is scooped out like frozen sorbet, so it was best when it was allowed to thaw a bit, the flavor was good. I liked that there was a lot of almond butter and the fruit was also a good portion. I've been going here for over 20 years, place has really gone downhill under new ownership. Employees working there now are rude and act oddly. Clear they don't want to be there, does not feel welcoming at all. The smoothies taste more processed and sugary, less like fresh fruit. And finally the pricing. Almost $14 for a large smoothie now. Full transparency I haven't been here in some months because I was fully disappointed after my last visit. This used to be the go to smoothie spot for myself and my family for YEARS even after I moved out of the area. I wanted to confirm new ownership before leaving a review but they have gone seriously downhill. For starters the staff seems apathetic and after much inquiry on my behalf, admitted that ALL of their smoothies contain yogurt (I'm lactose intolerant) although no where on the menu does it state this-kind of an important factor in my opinion. When I expressed my concern to the staff, they responded "we don't know, we just work here". They also claimed that the menu had not changed but there were smoothies I once loved suddenly gone and replaced with underwhelming items. They should definitely remove the "#1 in phoenix" sign that was well earned by previous owners/staff and smoothie/juice quality because they're truly not #1 anymore read more

Came here all the time in highschool, but I moved away and barely had the chance to go back. Since leaving, I've realized acai bowls are actually awful at every other establishment. $15 for a runny smoothie with a blueberry or two. Dreadful thing to come to terms with. Anyways, I was visiting Phoenix about two weeks ago and brought my acai-denier boyfriend to Paradise Juice to prove to him that when they're done well, they're great. It worked. The smoothie isn't all that good either I just happened to be in the area from Cave Creek and I didn't even drink 1/3 of it and plan to throw it away. I'm currently at Paradise Juice and I have to say that I'm really impressed by the quality of their smoothies and juices. The staff were friendly and helpful in explaining the different options and making recommendations based on my preferences. The atmosphere is also really nice - it's a great spot to relax and enjoy a healthy drink. I tried the peanut butter, chocolate smoothie and was pleasantly surprised when they added coffee to it as they didn't have any espresso or mocha caffeinated addons. It was a great combination and gave the smoothie an extra kick of flavor. I also appreciate that they use fresh ingredients and don't rely on pre-made mixes or artificial sweeteners. Overall, I would highly recommend Paradise Juice to anyone looking for a tasty and healthy beverage. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but in my opinion it's worth it for the quality of the drinks. It has been 13 years since my FTR (first to review) of Paradise Juice, and I have to say that I still love this place! "The Works" is my smoothie of choice. I ask them to make it with lemon juice instead of all of the orange juice for a more tart flavor. As of last week, they were still open daily during the COVID-19 pandemic, with a special set-up out front for ordering and take-out. Accidentally ordered over phone here instead of Tropical Smoothie Cafe, still overpriced and underwhelming. If they had shared the price over the phone I would have realized. $25 for a medium juice and chicken pesto is crazy, usually 12-15 at other juice bars such as TSC. Outback across the street is $23 for a steak dinner!! Juice wasn't very tasty, and I had to add my own ice to get it cold enough to enjoy. Sandwich was thin and chalky, with barely any chicken in it. No meal deals or anything like that. Would expect much more for this ABOVE premium pricing. But of course they'll still flip the screen for that nice tip, and then flip it back before you can choose to print a receipt. read more
