I would've given 5 stars but was told (after years of getting it) that I would no longer be able to get the coffee ice cream protein shake made with vegan protein, only whey (which I can't have). I was told it was because it wasn't creamy enough and they are using banana or peanut butter in all their vegan shakes from now on. I know there might be people that would say just get another flavor, however this is the one that I love and I'm very disappointed they will no longer be making it as they don't feel it's creamy enough. I never complained and always enjoyed it. So sadly today was the last time I will be going there. However if you can have whey protein or love peanut butter and or banana in your protein shakes, then I highly recommend this place. read more

My friend and I recently stopped in after our morning hike to get some protein shakes. I've been coming here over the years and really wanted her to try it out. She ordered the mint ice cream protein shake and really enjoyed it. I tried it too, and it was really minty and sweet. I ordered the Reese's peanut butter shake and absolutely loved it. I also got a raspberry tea with my shake which was really refreshing. The shake itself is really chocolatey and has a great amount of peanut butter, which I personally think hides the protein flavor really well. They also have a white chocolate Reese's shake on their secret menu that tastes really good too. We almost ordered the energy balls while we were there, but decided to try them next time. Their birthday cake and pumpkin flavor looks really good. They also have a lot of places to sit and relax with some games. They're always fun to play while you drink your shake. Even though I didn't like the taste that isn't gooing to stop me from coming back and trying another drink. I think personally I didn't like the drink because I like my protein shakes to taste a little more sweet and I could taste the protein powder a lot more than any other ingredients. Recently came here to grab a smoothie and dine in on my last day in the Phoenix area. Staff was absolutely friendly and we're kind enough to let me use the restroom there before ordering. It's mostly smoothies but they got small snacks and bowls you can have. I tried their smoothie that was loaded with protein in it which was phenomenal. It's got a great dine in area that's absolutely cozy and full of great games to play. Leaving the establishment and getting back towards the highway was a daunting challenge. read more

All the employees are super friendly and the owner, Daniel, makes a point to remember everyone (much appreciated). Most of the smoothies are under 250 calories and have zero sugar!! I can't quite pinpoint why, but for some reason HB wellness made a great impression on me. Could've been the creamy, delicious smoothie, or just the all around kind service I had when I went in. SHAKES : I love that they offer a wide variety of smoothies in tonnnnsss of different flavors. I ended up going with the chunky monkey (ask for GF if you want it). I love that they offer low calorie, low carb and sugar options that make "on the go" easy. It was a basic smoothie but it was reaallly good, very creamy, and hit the spot. It had all the flavor I could've asked for and actually kept me pretty full for a while. It was a solid 8.5/10! If it had some crumbles on the top or some kind of granola / chocolate / nutty topping it would've easily scored a 10/10!! TIPS & THINGS TO KNOW : Make sure to ask what the protein powder is that they use, and if you care, do a little search on the ingredient list. Just because it's plant based doesn't mean it's not full of fillers or hydrogenated oils. If you prefer gluten free, make sure to specifically ask for GF when ordering. Finally, the tea that is paired with the shakes have stevia -- just a tip to know if you are trying to avoid fake sugars or don't do well with stevia. Like I said In the beginning, the service was SO nice and helpful in ever way. They even let me sample a chunky monkey to see if that's what I wanted to order which I really appreciate as I am indecisive.
