Very clean food, no aftertaste, yet just savory enough. It's a hidden gem in the Tatum and Shea mall area, next to Hallmark store. First of all, they have the store barricaded so that only a window is open to the outside. Making customers stand in the dead heat to sweat while waiting to order. Where most restaurants allow you in with a mask this business continues to treat patrons as if they are disease infested. Secondly, I order the inflammator off the menu on the table and it comes out Orange. However, the ingredients listed did not include carrots on the drink selection. No offer to remake the drink. Thirdly it was served chilled with ice when natural juice should be served room temperature. Lastly, upon paying an iPad is thrust in front if me asking for a tip from 15% up to 25%! Why on earth do the owners feel patrons should subsidize their wages for doing a job that they are supposed to do? I am not sure if there are new owners, but this place has taken a turn for the worse. I ordered the turkey cranberry (10 bucks) and there is literally one single slice of turkey on it. I get a larger serving of turkey at the bashas deli as a sample! Not sure how any business could seriously pass this off as a legit sandwich! First I have to say I'm very sad to write this review. I've been supporting this smoothie shop for 4 years now and I probably won't ever go back. I've been ordering the same smoothie for the past 4 years and the prices have just continued to climb. I feel like there is a fine line between inflation and greed. Taking advantage of loyal patrons assuming we won't notice the difference is not okay. I would order the Energy Power smoothie and it used to cost $7 and some change. It grew to $8 then $8.50 and so on. I went in there a few days ago and it cost $9.99. It has increased over the years but I just went with it to continue support as I know business owners have struggled since the pandemic but guess what? So has everyone else. I went in again a couple days later and now the price was just shy of $12. I thought it was a mistake since I had just been there and the guy at the register was also surprised. I mean come on. For the same smoothie that I've been buying all these years? I am an AVID supporter of local businesses and have not noticed this jump in prices before. If it were consistent with other similar shops I might be able to piece it together, but to go up in price one dollar every year is crazy. So am I eventually going to have to pay $20 for this smoothie? I'm really sad to say I won't be going back, I simply don't think their products are worth that much. Apparently they are under new ownership. The new owner got my order completely wrong. Gave me regular banana bread when I ordered gluten free. He also got my smoothie order wrong. The guy who made the smoothie was calling out a smoothie I didn't order. He kept calling it and looking at me until I said that isn't what I ordered. The guy who worked there (apparently the new owner) then said he was going to credit me for my entire order. That would have been nice but he originally charged me twice so he only credited me for the error of the second charge. This place has a a huge following of loyal customers, but I'm sure it won't last once people see the service has gone downhill. Edit: it looks like all the charges did fall off. One cut up strawberry, less than half of a cut up banana, and enough granola to fill up over half the bowl. Their smoothies are pretty good!! But all of their actual food is unseasoned. I've tried the avocado toast, egg sandwich, and now the healing bowl. None of them tasted like they had a single seasoning. Just bland. I had to add my own seasonings at home. For the price, that's just not okay. Cooking an egg without seasonings is really shocking to me. But I keep coming back for the smoothies because it's close to home and fast. I'm in LOVE with Paradise Juice! I've been coming here since High School and literally crave it on the regular. Unfortunately, I live pretty far away now and don't have much reason to come up this far North but when I do, you better believe i'm here! I'm a creature of habit and LOVE the Creme de Mango (mango, bananas, peaches, lemon, and i'm probably missing something). Oh man, it is so dang creamy and good! I've also noticed that they've really added a lot more to their menu over the years - one being a build-your-own bowl using acai, pitaya, chia pudding, and Matcha! SO COOL! I will definitely try this the next time i'm in. They also have sandwiches, wraps, homemade soup, etc. if you're in the mood for 'real' food and not just a smoothie or juice! Paradise Juice is a wee bit expensive for me. I love smoothie and health bars, juices, acai bowls...all of that and then some. For a medium smoothie and a average size acai bowl, I ended up paying over $16 bucks. They also have sandwiches, wraps & paninis. While the cashiers were nice, I would have appreciated some suggestions or "small talk" as I browsed through the menu. Its a bit awkward when they stand there glued to the register, staring, waiting for me to order. I have to admit the Acai bowl was pretty damn good. It was the Original which was acai, honey, granola, strawberries and bananas. I got it to go, and appreciated that when I got back to eat it at the AirBnB 10 minutes later, it was still in nice shape. The acai was thick and the honey over it was a perfect complement.
