This morning I was really dragging so after dropping my son off at school, I decided to snag a coffee somewhere I hadn't been before. I opted to go to Dutch Bros since they're always packed. The young man that took my order was really kind and engaging, and the line went v fast. I played it safe and ordered a large hot vanilla latte. Upon first sip I immediately had buyers remorse. My "latte" was overly sweet, watery and weak, especially in comparison to my local coffee shops. I'm guessing it was made with skim milk? Powdered milk? I dunno, but I didn't care for it.. My drink tasted like it was made with basic brewed coffee, skim milk, and lots of sugar. A vanilla latté is supposed to have shots of espresso, creamy frothed milk, and vanilla syrup. It was so sicky sweet and weak, I could only drink about half of it. It was like drinking brown, sugary water. :( read more

I went to Dutch bros like I do every day to get my daily drink and Joe was so rude to me he literally yelled at me and told me not to come back to his shop because a week before the girl forgot to put cream in my drink and all I said was "it's missing cream and handed it back" He said I made her cry by saying that so he decided to bully & berate me for 5 minutes straight until he finally handed me the drink I had already paid for. I love Dutch bros and the coffee is great! However the time it takes for you to get your drink even when they are fully staffed is difficult, plan to be waiting awhile. I used to recommend Dutch Bros to everyone I knew. I thought they had some of the best coffee I've ever tasted. Here's the catch - I'm lactose intolerant and I take my lattes with soy. Many people say "just get almond or coconut or oat" but that doesn't make any sense - they all taste differently! It's not like milk is milk and you just choose a brand, you have to decide if you want a raw almond taste, coconut (gross) or oat - tastes like glue. Somehow I got to enjoy Dutch Bros for 10 years when I travelled outside of Utah and they finally get here and they discontinue soy. And then they try and say it's because people don't order it and it might go bad. Please, that stuff is in a box and can be at room temp for months. Stupid excuse. I'm just bummed. Won't be coming back here unless they can somehow fit a box of soy in their little shop. I guess this is all part of going public with the company. Amazing how quickly things change. read more

Worst time going to dutch bros. The drink was okay but the service was awful. We waited in a line for around 10 minutes and then when we finally got to the window they took forever to make the drink. They were super loud and obnoxious and complaining about making a drink that I ordered. Granted this place is run by teenagers, they need someone older that can supervise. I love this location and I'm giving it a five because my experiences with this location have been much more good than bad. They can be understaffed and you may have to wait a little but I have NEVER seen the workers "chatting" and not doing their jobs and I go to this location at least once a week if not more. The only problem I ever have is the customers who flat out KNOW they are not next in line but cut in front of you anyway. The workers have consistently forgotten to include the soft top I order, but that's easily fixed and I just ask them to top it off. Not the end of my life by any means. About a million more menu choices than Starbucks, cheaper and better tasting. 99% of the time I get Iced Tea and the flavors are out of this world. If you're in too much of a hurry to wait for you drink, then I advise you to drive down the street to Starbucks where you will spend an equal amount of time and still complain about it I'm sure. Don't take out your failure to plan properly on people who are literally making you something you're too lazy to make yourself. This is a luxury item. If it wasn't, you'd make it at home.
