Overall Experience Came here with my girlfriend thinking…read morethis would be more of a specialty matcha spot. Overall it was an okay experience, just not what I expected. Drinks and Matcha This place feels more like a Starbucks than a true matcha café. The drinks they advertise are kind of strange, and they do not really highlight matcha. They mostly categorize it as green tea, which I think makes it difficult for people who are really into matcha. I tried the matcha and the café latte. Both were alright. Not the best I have had, but not bad either. Food I had the beef bulgogi burrito for breakfast. It was good, but smaller than what the photos on the menu showed, which felt falsely advertised. Service and Atmosphere Service was great. The girl handling my order was very friendly. Decent sized coffee shop inside a shopping outlet, and there were a lot of families when I went. I would recommend it as a quick stop if you want coffee, but not for someone who is really into matcha.

The space itself is beautiful, I really love the decor but I can see how it might feel a bit crowded at times. Since the bakery is still fairly new, I think it's only fair to give them some grace as they work out their flow. There are clearly a lot of moving parts, and it'll probably take a little time for everything to fully click. I ordered the coffee velvet croissant, and my son tried the mango gem, he really enjoyed his. As someone who doesn't usually eat croissants, I was pleasantly surprised. The texture and cream were great, and the lamination was crisp, buttery, and well done.I also tried the tiramisu hot coffee. It was okay, not something I'd order again, but I wouldn't mind giving it another try down the line. It is a bit pricey, you can easily spend over 50$. Overall, I think this bakery and café is a wonderful addition to Lubbock, and I'm excited to see how they grow. Wishing them all the best!

There appeared to be several young employees working, and the atmosphere felt more like they were there to socialize than provide good customer service. I ordered an elote and was surprised to see yellow cheese added to it without anyone asking if I wanted it. There were also no condiments available, such as salsa or other toppings, which was disappointing. I also ordered tostilocos, and they were not made correctly. They only put cheese, lettuce, and chicharrones on them, leaving out several of the ingredients that you would normally expect in tostilocos. It was very underwhelming and not what I ordered. To make matters worse, when I pointed out that my drink was made incorrectly, the employee went over to her friends and talked about the mistake instead of simply apologizing and fixing it. Throughout our visit, we felt like we were being stared at, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. Overall, the service was extremely unprofessional, and the food was not prepared the way it should have been. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.
