I think this store in Fernley is a bit smaller, but they have the same cool stuff, such as housewares, clothing (mainly Western wear), boots, animal feed and veterinary supplies, cookware and hardware. Some items were sold out, probably due to Black Friday sales. Very friendly staff. Smaller store. Can be a bit of a "squeeze" getting around the clothes.

I was told the mop had been use so they would not return it. I used it once and found it would not suit my needs. Ok, bummer, I just learned their customer service was weak with a policy like that. Live and learn. But they wouldn't return the sprayer because I used it! How would I know it's defective before using it? I didn't even want a refund. I was going to exchange these items for items that were way more expensive. For seven years now, I've been going to them first, even though I know I can get the items cheaper at Lowes, Walmart, and defiantly Amazon. But I wanted to support local business. Well today I learned what my loyalty is worth to them. I will never shop there again and save myself some money in the process.

I wasn't sure if they carried their own brand or the same cleaning tablets sold at Walmart, Amazon, and other retailers. When we arrived, Michael in the appliance department was incredibly welcoming, patient, and knowledgeable. He took the time to answer all of our questions, explained the different options, and made a recommendation that helped us make an informed decision. Afterward, we headed to the air conditioning section, where Larry was equally friendly and engaging. He gladly helped us locate a drip pan and offered additional assistance to ensure we found exactly what we needed. We don't shop at Lowe's very often, but both Michael and Larry provided outstanding customer service. They listened carefully to our questions, never made us feel rushed, and genuinely wanted to help. It's refreshing to encounter employees who are so knowledgeable and customer-focused. We sincerely appreciate all of their assistance and highly recommend this Lowe's location for its exceptional customer service. Creative Gardens has an actual retail store in Sparks so you can always find them. We dealt with the owner, CJ, who was very knowledgeable on designing a backyard. He listened to what we wanted and then produced a virtual reality model of it on a large screen right there in the office. He had the ability to make real time changes as we requested them. This is a family operated business with CJ being the 3rd generation owner. His mom is the office manager and his sister runs the retail operations of the store. From the minute we walked in the door, they put us at ease and made us feel very welcome. The fact that they could make real world changes on the computer sold us on going with them. It was that and how well they treated us from the moment we walked into the business. During the build we had multiple changes and additions. The field supervisor, Jeff, is awesome to work with and doesn't know the word "no". He always says "we can do that". Their work crews were also great. Their crew leader, Cruz, can build just about anything and runs a tight ship. We really couldn't be happier with our backyard and the relationships we built with the Creative Garden staff. They have our full support and recommendation for their work. Oh and they are priced very reasonably.

If you're gonna hire them to put in basic drip rock and a few plants, they're probably fine although where they lay the irrigation lines makes no sense at all, and makes it very difficult to plant after the fact which I had to do because 30% of what they planted died the first winter . They installed the water feature that has some type of leak underneath it because it is killing the evergreen trees behind it because they are getting overwatered. One of the drains for the water feature is a pipe that was 3 feet from the French drain that goes to the street so it was constantly a lake filled with water. The the irrigation pipes and electrical were run after the trees were planted right down the center section of that planting area which made it impossible to dig and replace the dead trees. I had to hire someone else to come out and reroute the irrigation line and the low-voltage lighting so that Moana could come out and plant replacement trees. Nothing they did make sense or was logical. It seemed to be the down and dirty quickest and cheapest way to get it done.
