Very disappointed in this company's attention to detail, customer service, and integrity. The dolomite countertop was installed without plywood underneath leaving both exposed gaps under the counter and reducing structural integrity especially with a stone that is more brittle. The outlet slots were made too small and also they did not reinstall the coverings before leaving. The cuts were made very sloppily for the backsplash and I will be having to pay someone to add molding to try and cover it up. They did not reconnect the sink plumbing and the plumber they recommended did not leave the plumbing up to code or even bothered to remove all the old plumbing--they just pushed it into the crawl space. At this point I have spent an extra grand on the first plumber, the second plumber, and an electrician. I reached out to the company and was quickly ghosted after expressing my concerns. read more

Around Jun 15 2021 I stopped into Sanchez Granite to have them fabricate a small granite bathroom vanity top with under mount sink. I selected a remnant out of their scrap yard and Stephanie drew up a diagram of the dimensions and gave me a price of $450 or so. She said it would take a few weeks. The next day I provided additional measurements and pictures of the vanity via email. She acknowledged the email and pictures and said she would let me know when it was ready for pickup. Over the next two months I tried to contact her for a status via phone and email but neither was ever successful. No email reply or call back. I recognize this is a tiny job and they are probably very busy. I would have preferred she just told me they were too busy or whatever the reason was rather than having a bathroom without a sink for three months. I then went over to Granite Perfection and picked up a newly fabricated vanity top 10 business days later. read more

Don't waste your time. I called to schedule an estimate for new Quartz countertops in our kitchen. Eventually with a multiple bathroom remodel to be done in the near future. Stephanie came out to take measurements and answer my questions. I was told that she would email me the next day with the estimate. It came 5 days later. Ok, I understand they are busy. I was shopping around for new countertops since August of 2020. SDC stone in South Lake Tahoe never returned any of my 10 phone calls between August and December. A local lady recommended Sanchez Granite on the next door app and I was stoked to find a reliable and accommodating company. They are based out of Reno but happily serve the Northern California region. Stephanie had clear communication and returned all phone calls in a timely manner. Juan came out and measured everything to perfection. The installer were here for less than 4 hours and left the kitchen floor cleaner then it was when they arrived. On top of it all they are more reasonable than any big box store, plus it feels good to support a local family business. We will use Sanchez Granite for all our countertop needs in the future. read more

Bad communication. I contacted them for a quote. She responded she would send the info the next day. Didnt hear from her for 4 days. Emailed to follow up again. She emailed back and said she thought she already sent the quote and she would send it within 1 hour. Didnt hear from her for a couple days. Sent 3 emails within the last 4 days to follow up. Havent heard from them. So its been 7-10 days with FIVE + emails since I contacted for a quote and did not get it. They just disappeared. Bad business!!! Update: the next day I got the estimate and info from then, so ill update my review to 4 stars from 1 star for now. Will see how the coming up experience goes read more

Family Owned / Operated Between my first visit, coming back with questions, scheduling, and installation; I met/spoke with the dad, 2 sons, 1 daughter. All of them were friendly and helpful. The job was quick and they did what they promised. I, on the other hand, was not ready. I did not get my sheetrock/wall prepped fast enough. Sanchez is the first one we called and they set up an appointment to measure our two bathroom vanities a couple of days later. Juan took the measurements and emailed me a quote later that day. It was very reasonable. He said they were scheduled installs about a week out. When I emailed Stephanie to set up an appointment, I was assuming it would take at least a week. I was also unhappy that they did not leave enough room between the stove and the counter, not allowing me to move it out for painting and cleaning. Our son was having his kitchen remodeled and was dumping his old granite counter tops. Whoa! Who "dumps" their old granite? Since the basic shape of his kitchen was the same as ours, we offered to take the old granite tops off his hands for him. The color was great and would easily fit in to the color scheme of our kitchen. Goodbye to our old 70's style Formica counter tops. But, who could we call to have these granite tops fabricated to fit our kitchen exactly, and do the install? The folks who are going to do our cabinet re-facing job recommended Sanchez Granite. We called them on a Friday. They sent Angel out on Monday to see what we had and tell us if they could do what we wanted with our hand-me-down granite parts. After taking copious amounts of measurements he said they could handle it and that we'd have an estimate by that afternoon, which turned out to be true. They also said they could be out the next day, and do the whole project right there in one visit. They would bring down all the equipment needed. Wow! Next day they showed up and completed the job. We had wanted an under mount sink but as it turned out, the sink opening was not a standard size so the sink they brought would not mount properly. Not even close. We went on-line and checked Lowes and Home Depot for available under mount stainless sinks - and neither had any. So we opted for a 'slide in' stainless sink. I quickly made a trip to Home Depot, got the sink, and brought it back. This worked. By the time they left, our kitchen already looked new. The fabrication they did to make our granite fit looked great. The seams matched and after polishing we could not feel any of the matched pieces. On top of this, they were the most polite, respectful, professional (and funny) crew we've had in our house in a long time. On their way out they even thanked us for letting them work in our house. Who does that? I would highly recommend Sanchez Granite to anyone needing stone work installed. It's a family business and if you're like me, I like to support small local business, especially small family businesses. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. HAD TO SUE THEM! Very unscrupulous people. They gave us a quote to complete four parts of a project. After completing only two, they refused to complete the job unless we paid more money. We have text message proof of the agreement. We ended up suing them, and received a default judgement for the full amount we requested as they didn't bother to show up to court. We will now collect on that judgement. Please reach out if you would like the forms to sue them as well for their shoddy work practices. We will be happy to send the documents. read more

I needed a new granite kitchen countertop fast because a new renter was ready to move in. No other granite installer in town could do the job sooner than two weeks. Sanchez did it in two days and did a beautiful professional job with the lowest bid. Sanchez Granite was also the easiest to work with by far. All of the other shops I talked to made the material selection and design seem much more complicated than necessary. Sanchez kept it simple and I got exactly what I wanted. Highly recommended! Fantastic job! From start to finish absolutely no complaints. Initial phone call to Stephanie was courteous and efficient. She is obviously experienced and knowledgeable. We needed a quick and economical fabrication and installation. She put me at ease and provided a thorough and reasonably priced bid on the spot. They picked up our slab next day to begin the process. We were put on their schedule only a few short days away, contingent on the delivery of some prefab countertops. There was a delay on the delivery of the prefabs which necessitated the scheduled installation be pushed back. No problem. They rescheduled us for the next day. On installation day the crew arrived right on time and went right to work. They covered all the floors and cabinet faces and began their measurements to do the final adjustments. Several hours later all the countertops on the cabinets and island were in, polished where needed, cleaned, and sealed. We couldn't have hoped for a better result. Following the installation the cabinet and floor coverings were removed, and everything was dusted and swept. The installation crew did an excellent job. The day after I noticed two areas that needed adjustment. We were put on the schedule for the next working day. They came and took care of everything we asked for. read more

Not happy with the experience. At first they were very quick and responsive by email and phone, then immediately after receiving payment, everything changed, and it was difficult to get them even within 3-4 days with many email ignored and phone calls not picked up. When the guys came out to do the work, they did a great job and were very professional. It is mostly Stephanie in the office who ignores calls and emails after she was paid.The guys only forgot to do the backsplash, and she told me two different occasions they would be coming out to do it, but no one ever showed up, and the mason guys came out and ended up putting in stone veneer in there thinking they were suppose to because it was left undone, so now we are stuck with that. I have had Sanchez Granite do two pretty large jobs, one commercial and one at my home with one of the bathrooms and total new kitchen. In each case I bought the granite and paid them the labor, over $20,000 labor! There work is not the best but that really isn't my complaint. They don't want to stand behind there work. Less than a year after they installed the new sink in the kitchen it came loose and dropped from the granite a quarter inch. I was told by Stephany she would call or email me back. She never did. I had to pay a plumber to come fix their mistakes. read more

We found doing business with Sanchez Granite to be less than optimal. While they are very nice people, they are disorganized and lack necessary follow through. Our large job at Incline Village was 50 minutes from their Reno shop. Time was wasted in the many trips they made over several weeks while installing the job, when it all could have been done in two days. Several times appointments were made and ignored with no call to reschedule. I was alarmed when the team was making final cuts in our driveway protective masks were not worn. The crew just stood there and inhaled the stone dust. Also, while installing a kitchen island countertop they cut through a powerline and failed to notify me. It took my electrician an hour and a half to diagnose the problem. Both myself and my contractor have called Sanchez numerous times to fix a problem to no avail. We have been ignored. They seem to have no intention to follow through since the job had been paid for. My advice: stay away. read more

From the first contact we were impressed, they sent Juan to give us an estimate. Sanchez Granite was the only company who responded in person, two others wanted us to do the work and email them. Sanchez Granite measured the kitchen on Friday afternoon and Tuesday after the Labor Day weekend called at 8am wanting to demolition our kitchen and install. They came over 60 miles, three times...estimate, measure, & install. The crew worked until 6:30 pm and wouldn't leave until all their work was completed. Worst communication ever.Can you do less than 1 star? Canceled a job last minute. Kept changing parameters and costs. Didn't explain process, needs, anything! I told them I wanted counters installed and new backsplash. Got a quote. I was OK with the tile removal and granite install price. (I already bought the granite elsewhere). Later added $882 to install 30 square feet of 12x12 mosaic tile backsplash that I already purchased (so no materials). When I said I'd get that part done by someone else they said they couldn't install on Monday. This is FRIDAY. I asked "When?" Office manager wouldn't give a date. Complained that I got other quotes. Really? Worst contractor experience ever. read more
