Very patient company I wished I had gotten rid of the awful tiled countertop in the kitchen YEARS ago. It looked bad and was impossible to roll out crust on. David was recommended by the cabinet company and the stone company to install the granite countertops. Thank heavens they all three are near each other because there were several trip back and forth to work out all the details. David the owner came to the house and promptly measured and told me want in needed. Took the drawing to the stone shop and had it ordered in under 15 minutes. Three weeks later a two man crew shows up a little early to start. Fabulous better early than late. These guys had the old tile off in about 1 1/2 hours. And finished the entire install in one day by working until 630 at night. It was pricey but beautiful. Just should have done it years ago. read more

BEWARE! We are a senior couple in a fixed income, we feel taken advantage of. Work in my kitchen started 12/19/2022 and still today 2/09/2023 is a disaster after trying to install my granite countertops twice. We purchase beautiful stone Fantasy Brown and the inexperience crew destroyed the stone by cutting it wrong nothing matched and the PM was no where to be found. Today Ramon Santiago the PM promised to come with the new stone to install and it is now 4:29 and no one has come. read more

If you use them be careful and make sure that they don't cut your counters too short before they seal it. It was too late for us because we didn't see it until they sealed the quartzite to the counter. They should say, "does everything look ok before we glue your counter?" They cut it an 1/8 inch too thin down 3/4's of one side. Other granite companies that sealed some chips, that GP didn't see when installed, said that isn't acceptable that they installed it like that. GP owner offered to fix with a remnant that they had of ours, but we didn't want to risk damaging our new cabinets, so we have to live with it. When they came to look at wrong cut and a chip i noticed, one of their employees decided to argue with me in my house, after my husband left of course, because I asked him how he was fixing the chip. He assumed i know all about the granite business and gave me a smart A** remark. I told him I thought the whole situation sucked and they should have sent someone else over here who knew how to speak to people Which, it did. I had that right to say it when I'm paying over $6k for cut and install. After that my husband didn't want them in the house. Lastly, when they cut our cooktop they damaged the auto-close rollers of our new drawer underneath with all of the dust (that we ended up cleaning) and we had to replace them. I think they should have removed drawers before cutting above it. First 3 pics is the bad cut. The last pic is done right. I thought a company with Perfection in the name would've done a better and more professional job the first time. read more

Nothing perfect about this company. They didnt order backslash & said it was someone else's fault. We called & asked for invoice to pay prior to picking up. They said it was ready to pick up, but when we went to pickup, there was NO order on file just a quote, which they didnt follow-up on. We had already scheduled installation, which we now have to reschedule another week out. Very unprofessional. If you make a mistake, apologize and move on. read more

I rarely give out five stars but Trisha and her team deserve it. I just had two counters done at my home and both look great. I am so happy that it was done quickly and on time as this home was going to be listed for sale soon. I needed the counters done before I could do carpets and other items on the list, since I figured their would be a mess. The crew came and tore out the old counters saving my huge mirror that sits on top of the counter. I was not even sure they could do that but they did, saving me time and money to replace the glass. They hauled away the old material and they did not make a mess. They put the plywood in quicker than I expected then the next week the granite was installed. Their office was in contact with me several times. The granite looks good and we are pleased that it matches. Trisha knew exactly what we wanted and was able to save us money. We will be using them again next month and we will refer them out. Formerly, being in Real Estate in this area, we meet lots of people fixing up their homes. So happy with the end product! We had issues with our rental property and had to redo the counter tops. We got several quotes and Granite Perfection was the best price with the best product options by far. We also needed it installed quickly, they had it in and done in about two weeks. The employees that came out to the house were stellar workers and very professional. This made me very happy because they were dealing with my tenants. (Who had to live through a three week + extensive kitchen remodel because of a water leak) The end product is beautiful and looks seamless. This will add great value if we ever sale this house. Where do I begin? Their business practices are horrific. They rarely answer the phone nor do they return phone calls when messages were left. I left no less than 10 messages. The outgoing message indicates the office hours are 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. When I finally got someone to answer the phone I was told the office hours do not begin until 9:30! They were a "no show" on the first date for installation. I had even confirmed the date with them the week before the scheduled date. No explanation was given. I was just told there were miscommunications with their scheduler. We had to wait another month for a new date. That being said, the installation turned out to be fine; however, the hassles and headaches involved were not worth using them EVER again. I was promised that they would "make this right" with some kind of extra service. They did not follow through on this either. read more

The builders that built my house in Florida did not have a granite that I liked so I researched and, luckily, selected Granite Perfection. Had a terrible experience with granite perfection. The installers put a hole in my wall, installed one piece that was incorrect and argued with me that it was correct, then finally admitted it wasn't. They also dropped a sink in the master bathroom and asked me to help with holding it. Who knows if there's a hairline crack in it, but I assisted for free and its probably my fault if there's a crack in the sink. The final piece of granite that was installed was pretty late in the day, so the multiple promises of cleaning up after themselves did not happen. I had the privilege of picking up their trash, vacuuming their mess from cutting the plywood and granite and I also had to patch, texture and paint my own wall. The multiple calls I made to the company to find out the details of when the install was going to happen netted 0 results. The promise of calling 30 minutes before arrival didn't happen either, they instead called when they got there and were pissed I wasn't there. I was also promised I would receive our granite layout for approval for several days in a row, only to be provided the layout at 9 am on the day they wanted to cut it and told by noon we were "holding everything up by not approving". Some others notable items: I was asked to pay in full (and then argued about it) by the installers before they were even done installing!!! The company also did not cut the size hole I requested for one of my holes, instead they oversized it. They also offered no compensation for their mess and damage they caused to my house. I would never use this company again and caution anyone else who does to not get swindled. read more

I called one week ago to see about some granite counter top repair. Tricia the wife of David said she would send someone out one week later to take a look at the repair job. After one week a lady shows up and takes some pictures of the work to be done. The next day goes by and no call back. The next day I called at 8 AM but no answer...There hours say 7:30 am open. They dont answer phones till after 9:30 am. Tricia answers the phone and says she will call me back after talking with David. I call back several hours later and she says I will call you back in 10 minutes. An hour later I call her and she says I will call you back in 5 minutes. An hour goes by and I call her back and she says they are to busy to do my repair work. If you want bad customer service and a owner who cant remember anything more than a minute this is the company for you. Brain dead customer service and to much Ego to want to do a simple repair. How they stay in business is beyond me read more

We have worked with many contractors and installers for major and small projects and Granite Perfection was truly perfection. David and Tricia took the time to drive all the way to Incline Village during a holiday weekend to give us a proposal for granite installation. Their price was significantly lower than other bidders which worried us at first but they were highly recommended by the fellow who sold us the granite and we took a chance. During the project, we asked if they would use the excess material and replace the tile in a small bathroom and the additional price was also very reasonable. What impressed us the most is that there was a misunderstanding about the exact placement of the backsplash behind the stove and it was not what we wanted. We had already paid them in full and expected to never see them again which is the way many contractors work. The next day, an extremely skilled worker came back and fixed the problem and it looks wonderful. We were not charged an additional fee for the return visit. They said, "We just want a happy customer." A few months later, we installed a new range and it did not quite fit. Once again, Granite Perfection came to our aid and sent a couple of guys to our house to trim the granite so the stove would fit. Two guys, two hours, a round trip from Sparks to Incline Village and we were only charged $200. We will definitely use this company again and recommend them to anyone who is looking for quality work. read more

David & Trisha were amazing to work with. Their estimate was more than fair (after several outrageous ones). They worked with my vacation schedule. A snow day forced them to cancel but they shuffled their schedule and came 2 days later. Due to budget constraints I asked them to try to save my existing tile backsplash. Their installers did not even crack one backsplash tile during the removal of my old counter top. The quartz counters that they installed in a very tight galley kitchen are gorgeous. I couldn't even find the seams at first glance. They left no mess behind. Not even in the street where they fabricated. I brought in a drawing of what size and what type of stone I wanted to get an estimate for material and installation. I told them I wanted quarts countertops they said they would get back to me with a quote. After a few weeks I called and asked if they had my quote ready that's when I was told they couldn't give me a quote yet because they where not certified to install Quartz countertops but planned on getting their certification to install Quartz in the next week or so and that they would get back to me, I'm still waiting two months later. I did find another countertop co that was glad to take my business. I really feel that Granite perfection left me hanging, all they had to do is call me and let me know they could not do the job and I could have moved on instead I wasted time waiting for a quote that was never coming.this is a very poor way of doing business I would never recommend anyone go to Granite Perfection. read more

They did the granite for my Mom's kitchen and baths and did a great job. Her kitchen had a difficult window sill extension behind the sink and they made it look stunning! So I decided to use them for my own house. My kitchen had a strange shaped island that was ugly with formica countertops but they said it would be pretty with granite. They were right, it looks fantastic! I've had a bad granite install before from a different company... It is an art to install granite well. Granite Perfections matched the backsplash to the pattern in the granite nicely and there is one seam in my kitchen countertop that you can't even see. They recommended using the 3cm granite and I love how they did the edge. It isn't bullnosed, just polished, for a very elegant look. I would have given five stars but sometimes it takes a day or two to reach someone when you call or text. Also, one day the installer didn't show up so I had to wait around for a couple hours for nothing. If you have a small job, like a bathroom top, they have tons of remnants. After they did my kitchen and baths, I decided to have my hallway cabinet countertop done. It was very affordable because I used a remnant from them and looks gorgeous! read more
