His prices were fair, and comparable to the other quotes I received. I had a neglected Japanese maple in my front yard that needed shaping and trimming. If you're looking for a licensed, bonded and insured arborist then Sean is your guy! He and his team are excellent to work with. He was running late and I had to leave but I left my side gate open so he can come in to assess the giant fir in my backyard. I had a 4-5 story growing in my backyard that was beginning to become a hazard. It could topple over due to the recent fierce storms. I didn't want it falling on us or our neighbors. He gave me a quote within 24 hours and it was higher than expected. I had asked for quotes from 5 different companies. I got all ranges of pricing. Sean wasn't the cheapest but I liked his responsiveness and he matched the price of someone that quoted me lower. The lower priced company was also insured and licensed. You have to compare apples to apples. His crew came out within the week and cut down the entire tree and trimmed another tree that was coming over from my neighbors yard. I lost a tall tree during one of the great wind storms in March 2023. I used Yelp to request quotes from a number of tree services and included the photo attached to this review. I received a few curt messages asking for photos (argh) or for my address to make an appointment. Dunne Right responded promptly with a quote of $650 to remove the tree the following day. Sean and his team arrived on-time the following day and did a great job removing the tree and cleaning up the yard. While he was here, he took a look at my other trees and gave me some options for preventative maintenance. I'll very likely give Sean a call when we're ready to do some more tree projects. We were looking to get our Italian cypress tree trimmed down since it's been growing for the past 40 years. With the recent storms and winds the last thing we want is to have these trees top over on our roof. I originally found Sean and his company on yelp. I put in request for service out and he was one of the first company that reached out same day. I believe his wife runs the Yelp portal and communication. She is very fast at responding and giving us accurate information. She was on top of it and was able to get Sean out the same day to do a more accurate estimate. They did give me an initial estimate after sending them pictures on Yelp which is still accurate to the quote they gave me after looking over the work site. Sean and his team is professional they came on time as they mentioned. They were able to service me earlier than expected since there was a cancellation. The price is very competitive and affordable from the quotes I got in the past year when I initially wanted the trees to be trimmed. Sean and the team did a fantastic job of trimming 2 trees that were actually on our neighbors properties but overhang ours. They carefully cut branches and thinned the tree over our property so that we minimize debris and damage in the coming winter storms. Sean even went and spoke to the neighbors directly to inform them of the work, and they were very appreciative of the communication. The team even did some extra work over the neighbors property in order to do the job right. There was no damage to fencing or anything else from the work, and they cleaned up after themselves. I had the pleasure of interacting with two brothers both super kind and down to earth. One is a certified arborist who really took his time to help me with my project even though we found that I was out of their coverage area. He helped in identifying some trees and explaining how the permitting process works with protected trees and all. When it is time to apply for formal permits with the county we will definitely seek their help if they are willing to drive outside their normal area.
