Camilo and his team did a wonderful job removing a tree from my front yard. They were priced well, speedy and cleaned up beautifully! They were on time and the communication was top notch throughout the process. I even asked them last minute to bring in some rock to fill in a couple spots in my backyard landscaping and they were able to add on that service, no problem. Highly recommend SSAW! read more

Obtaining a quote to cut down our palm tree and all communications from start to finish were prompt. They were very accommodating when we had to reschedule our original appointment to a later day. Cost was very reasonable in today's market (lower than other estimates) yet the skill to perform the work (from cutting tree to keeping debris away from pool and cleaning) was top notch through and through! Hard work performed efficiently and steadily (non-stop for 3+ hrs.); we would highly recommend SSAW for tree cutting services. GREAT JOB, THANK YOU!! read more

SSAW Tree & Gardening Services - Tree Services Near Me - Tracy, California

Jaime is amazing!!!! I sent a request for quotes out on Yelp for the tree in front of our new home and got an immediate reply and offer for an estimate. Not only were they the cheapest, he provided an in-depth explanation with a photo of our tree and their recommendations whereas others asked me what I wanted done as if I was knowledgeable on tree care and maintenance. They showed up on time, were efficient and even my neighbors have complimented how to tree looks much better now!! I can't thank them enough, highly suggest you give them an opportunity to provide you with A+++++ service. read more

Had all 7 of my queen palms trimmed and couldn't be happier with the results. The crew showed up on time, worked efficiently, and did a fantastic job on every tree. They were professional throughout and left the property spotless when they were done -- no fronds or debris left behind. Great experience overall and would definitely hire them again! read more

They came out to do an estimate of trimming the top of a tall tree, removing a stump, and removing a bunch of branches I had already trimmed. The price was great and they were kind and great with communication. When they came out to do the trimming, we asked if they could do more trimming of a second tree and they were very flexible and we agreed on additional cost for their additional work. Their quality of the work was great. Highly recommended! read more

Friendly, professional, thorough and fast! They took out a 110' tall cypress tree and 4 smaller ones for me and removed all of the stumps. Best prices, the neighbors also used them after they saw their work. Camilo and his 5 man crew are AMAZING! I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. HIGHLY recommended! read more

Decided to give these guys a try based on some of the reviews. I tried to schedule a consultation for some tree work that needed to get done on my property. So, I requested a consultation and received an automated reply which allowed me to schedule a day and time. Shortly, thereafter I scheduled accordingly and received confirmation for the tree removal consultation. Well, today was that day for the consultation, and that time and day has come, and gone with NO response, NO call or message from their business. Definitely not getting my business. read more

We recently had 2 trees trimmed by SSAW. They were quick to respond with a quote. They showed up on time and finished the job promptly at a reasonable price. Jaime was there every step of the process and was great to work with. read more

Guess I am not alone in saying these guys like to do no call no shows. Got a quote, given a date, never happened, never called back. If you can't do it, don't say you can. There are other better businesses willing to work! Don't waste your time like they wasted mine. read more

Jaime and team at SSAW Tree & Gardening are extremely professional and hardworking. They made landscaping our backyard such an straightforward and easy process from bringing us rock samples to going the extra mile by removing a metal pole for us. They pay attention to details and the finished work speaks for itself. Work preformed: removed old grass/weeds, tilled the soil, lay fresh sod, removed a peach tree, lay weed fabric and added rocks along our fence perimeter. Highly recommend this team! read more

TLDR: Don't pay more to get less. Hire someone else. We got an in-person quote for gardening service. While we thought the cost was a little high, we were willing to pay more for better service. Unfortunately, we got worse service instead. During the in-person quote I set clear expectations of what we needed. One part I mentioned was helping us identify some plants to remove - and putting together a quote to get that done. This was never put together, despite asking regularly. Another part I mentioned was separating some of our bushes from our fence. They never mentioned an extra cost during the in-person quote, so this seemed to be a reasonable ask. After a few services, the fence bushes still hadn't been improved. I asked them for a quote on servicing our backyard - trying to support them and give them more business - and now they want to work on the fence line bushes as part of a separate project (for more money). I told them I wanted them to do the fence line bushes regardless of the backyard - as previously discussed - and said I was willing to pay more or schedule an additional service to do it. They never got back to me. Finally, they do a pretty bad job of cutting grass. The grass was cut very unevenly on multiple occasions. I mentioned to them that this was an issue because the grass grows to block the sprinklers, which causes dead patches. They said they'd cut it better next time. Next time came, and they cut the grass really unevenly again. When I mentioned it to them, they decided to discontinue our service. Do not hire these people. They apparently can't cut grass. I'd like to believe their tree services are better, but they also told me they couldn't find a place to buy good tree stakes, so I'm doubting the tree service is much better. read more

Camilo & Crew are THE best - so patient, professional & hardworking! They worked magic on my front & backyard! Of the few gardening service quote I requested on Yelp, found SSAW gardening service to be the most suitable for my needs. Very professional and reasonable price. They have been taking care of my front and back yard for few years now. Quite happy with the service. read more

Have had Jaime and their team come by to service our palms multiple times throughout the years and can't believe I haven't given them a review before. Trimmed and cleaned 3 queen palms in the backyard. They were very quick and efficient and left the yard clean. Our trees are close to other neighbors and every time they come they make sure that none of the large debris falls into other people's yards, which I can't say was the case the few times I had to go to others for trimming. Solid team, great service, and excellent price. read more

My wife and I have had several gardeners in town. They generally start off good then service declines to mow and blow. Not with Jaime's team at SSAW. I have had them consistently between 2 houses for over 3 years. They do an amazing job on a regular basis, but Jaime also offers tree pruning, tree removal, fence repair, water system repair, re-seeding and more. I highly recommend! read more

SSAW Tree & Gardening Services - Tree Services Near Me - Tracy, California

I had 3 overgrown trees in my front and back yard. They needed trimming and I had a tight budget. I had SSAW quote on the one that I didn't get done by another person who wasn't licensed to do this type of work. He gave me a fair quote for the tree, the largest of the three, and trimmed it without any issues. I wished I had called him first, and I plan on calling him again for any more landscaping work I need to have done. Only reason I'm not giving him 5 stars is that I wish he would of responded the first time I asked for a quote about a year ago. There's a lot of unlicensed contractors out there so be certain that they know what they are talking about before you hire them. If his name is Cristobal Colon don't let him work on your property. read more

They were very reasonable, quick and efficient. I will definitely use them again! They even made sure to leave our pool clean.

SSAW was responsive to my inquiry and was able to schedule the trimming of four palm trees quickly. Since my trees are right next to my pool, the team covered my pool to prevent debris from falling in! There are the first company I've hired to do this. and when done, they completely cleaned up including scooping out anything that happened to fall into the pool. And the trees look great! I would hire SSAW again. read more

Make SSAW Tree and Garden your first call for your Tree and Garden needs in the Tracy CA area. Jaime and crew are fantastic. They completed everything we asked. Additionally, we were pleasantly surprised when they left our property probably cleaner than it was before they started. There was literally no mess. Their workmanship is top quality and super professional. Their pricing was very reasonable as well. Give Jaime a call you won't be disappointed. read more

I contacted Jaime on Yelp and he responded really quick. I had him come out and give me a quote for the work on my front yard and my backyard. He was very helpful. I ended up getting a second quote from someone and for the same work and he quoted me nearly double what Jaime quoted me. Jaime and his team cleaned up my yards in a day. All together he was at my house for 4 days and I am very satisfied with his work. My home looks so much better now and I highly recommended Jaime for your yard needs. read more

My previous tenant planted a 'Christmas tree' in the backyard and now it grow to almost two story high in a short 3 year. Jamie and crew came to cut it down and treated the roots. Work is done quickly and professionally. He is a nice guy with a sense of humor, loves what he does. Great to find a guy there to take care of yard needs. read more

Jaime and team transformed my front lawn. They were very thorough in not only pulling out the scrappy yard I had before, but they also pulled out the rocks and construction materials left by builders a decade ago (that were killing my previous lawn) and tilled in better topsoil to give the new law a better chance of survival. These extra steps were not part of the original deal, but Jaime did it because he does quality work -- at no extra charge. He also improved the sprinkler system to be more thorough and efficient. All this at a very competitive price. Jaime gave me some free advice on how to take care of my fruit trees and back lawn. I originally asked him for a quote to replace my back lawn as well, but he suggested I take some much cheaper steps to remove weeds and reseed it ... because it was much more salvageable than the front yard. The team team was respectful, clean-cut, did great work, and left each night having cleaned-up. Would highly recommend and use them again myself. read more

Awesome! We had a single gardner help us for years. But, there was always so much left undone. After reading reviews on Yelp, we decided to pursue Ssaw Tree & Gardening Services, and we have no regrets! They did an awesome initial cleanup and our very large yard is in the best shape! They are quick, methodical, and their weekly visits make it a pleasure to sit in the backyard (as long as it's not windy). They do little extra each week and it's always a surprise as it wasn't the case with our prior yard service. Thumbs up! read more
