You'll see people walking up and down each and every fuckin' row with no tools in their hands. How can you remove parts with no tools? They aren't there to remove parts. They're there to remove other peoples tools. Happened to me. Brand new electric ratchet. No problem because they have many of people in customer service. my lastest experience was a complete NIGHTMARE. I purchased a motor for a 2011 Cadillac DTS. within less than one 500 mile trip the car overheats. After a mechanic checks it out it had over heating problems so it was a bad motor. So LKQ delivered another motor .I paid $2,400 to be installed, only to discover this was a bad motor with overheating issues. Now l'm into this for over $5,000, on just installations. So now we're on a THIRD motor. when they delivered the motor I was told they wanted more money because this motor had only 80,000 miles. after speaking with the manager he asked me to send him a picture of the odometer. No problem. When the motor arrived, the manchanic asked me to come in because he wanted me to see what was sent. It was totally disgusting. The crank would not turn, bolts in the intake. After I contacted CORPORATE. I spoke to someone by the name of Wendy. As of today I am waiting to have my money returned. In the meantime I purchased another motor from someone else. The owner told me I needed the whole steering column and it would cost me $130 when an ignition cylinder brand new at auto zone costs me $75 after tax. Then when I figured out they were lying to me just to get me to buy extra parts I ask them why I need the whole steering column when everything on my jeep was exactly the same..then they told me they dont sell the parts seperately..why didnt they tell me that from the start? Because they were lying every step of the way, then after I had already wasted almost an hour there.
