As the HOA board member chartered for several years to act as our lead on all landscaping matters at La Mirada Villages, I work very closely with CLS' leadership team. When our community was created 31 years ago, the developer chose to plant type of inexpensive, fast growing pines (Aleppo) on the outer perimeter surrounding our community. Over the years, while these pines were attractive, they were messy year-round, grew to sixty and seventy feet in height, caused root damage to the plumbing of numerous homes homes and required risky, expensive tree trimming annually. With CLS' guidance, we are now in our third and final phase of removing these pines (early 2025), and are actively planting attractive new evergreen trees with non-invasive roots that will grow to a maximum height of 35-40 feet (Australian willows and carrotwoods). We'll benefit from lower maintenance expenses, which will enable us to invest in landscaping upgrades to key interior areas of our community. CLS, and especially its tree czar Ramon Tovar, continue to be a great partner to La Mirada Villages. read more

They were great, came in at the exact time they were scheduled and immedietly got to work. I was surprised on how fast they finished everything and even fixed our clogged up drain while they were here at no charge. I will be using them in the near future for my landscaping needs. read more

They do a wonderful job of landscaping. Also, when I thought I had a leak in my watering, someone was here within 90 minutes and showed me what was wrong and fixed it. Not an actual leak, by the way. read more

California Landscape Services did it excellent job in our backyard from nothing to a show place, The workers they have worked very hard and are very knowledgeable to the different species of plants and shrubs. Our lawn looks beautiful and our trees and shrubs all have drip lines. The person in the office that answers the phone is Bailey she always make sure that James gets our messages. The landscapers John Frank Jose and Mike did a great job in putting down the flagstone and the rock outstanding workers. I would suggest that if you need your back yard done California Landscape Services is Who you want to design your backyard James Rogers is the owner of the company and he is very detail orientated. He knows all of the laws that pertain to the city that you live in so you don't Break any of the city laws. He knows about all the plants and trees where they should be planted to make our yard beautiful. He was very willing to make changes at anytime. California Landscape services has done excellent work at my home. They graded the dirt in my backyard and installed new irrigation, then put in a beautiful sod lawn. They also removed old concrete patio and put in a new redesigned patio with colored and stamped concrete. They built a patio cover with solid roof for shade also. In front yard I had them lay a 9' x 30' area of concrete, also colored and stamped. The work was excellent and best price out of 3 bids. read more
