I would recommend staying away from this company. He was in a big rush to get my walk way done even though it was still raining. He insisted it would be fine... of course the walk way is stained and looks horrible. He assured me that he would come back to take a look and he never did. Then I text him again and he blocked me. I just want a nice beautiful walkway I probably overplayed for $1700 for small walkway and little added slab on driveway. He also tried to get me for $200. We had decided to do stamp concrete for the walkway. After he came and started working I decided to go with brush finish. The price of brush finish both areas $1600 the price of stamp 1 area and brush other $1800. He kept the price at $1800 until I realized and messaged him, his answer was that he has to rent the stamps. I told him I will pay rental fee. He told me to rent stamps if cost him $200 a day. This guy is liar. He owns those stamps. They probably cost 30$ to buy. Horrible experience. I'm most likely going to take some legal action to get my walk way redone. read more

Overall Experience- Excellent. 10 out of 10. Yes, Really. Green Valley Landscaping completed an entire re-landscaping of our front and back yard. This included (but was not limited to): removing old plantings, lawns, and all associated root systems from 40-60 year old trees. Removing all old irrigation and running all new irrigation lines and controls. Preparing the soil for new plantings and lawn. Put down new ground cover (gravel and mulch). And so much more! Bidding Process: EXCELLENT After meeting with Steve (owner) and discussing our project, we were impressed with his attention to detail- he asked very thoughtful questions and followed up several times to clarify details and take measurements before submitting a bid. We talked at length about what the numbers were based on (not pulled out of thin air), and he was more than willing to talk through all the elements. Communication: EXCELLENT. I cannot emphasize this enough. We spoke throughout the project, in-person, via text, phone, and email as issues arose (it's construction at it's core- and nobody is a mind reader.). Steve and Ray (and the rest of the crew) were quick to bring things to our attention, explain potential challenges and solutions, and even when the answer was "I don't know" it was always followed up with an "I'll get an answer." On-site Experience: EXCELLENT. Steve and/or Ray plus crew were there every day, on-time ready to work. Everyone they hired was courteous and respectful of our property. They took the time to clean up every day and check in before leaving. Sticking to the budget: EXCELLENT. Steve and I talked MANY times about the budget and where we could trim costs when a sewer issue arose (completely unrelated to the project). I felt we could talk candidly about the expenses and trade-offs easily. They were able to stick to the budget proposed and amended - no surprise expenses. Planting: EXCELLENT Plant selection was an ongoing process- we had a plant list on paper but based on local availability a lot of "Plan B" choices needed to be made. Steve and I made several visits to the nursery to make selections, and planting was done with great care. Our design required very symmetrical plantings, and the crew took great care to measure each planting site carefully. Handling of problems: EXCELLENT We really only had a small handful of issues crop up- and they were largely misunderstandings. Steve always corrected the issue and repeatedly checked in with me to make sure I was pleased with the progress. Being good humans: EXCELLENT! Let me just say, Steven and Ray were absolutely phenomenal! We originally contacted a few landscaping companies for a quote to completely remove our drive way, add new concrete, grade and potentially put in sprinklers and grass. After providing the quote, Steven's follow-up was simply amazing, he kept in touch until we were ready to get the project going. Steven and Ray always showed up right on time, went right to work and busted their butts. Our concrete looks so beautiful! They even went above and beyond to help scrape up some of the weeds we had in the back so that we could get our above ground pool up. Due to some unexpected financial bumps, we were only able to proceed with half of the project but they didn't leave us hanging, they gave us plenty of ideas on how we could do our own sprinklers and SOD, gave us a few landscaping places to check out and then even came out a few times after just to see how everything was looking and make sure we had no issues. They have used one pic from my yard without my permission. I cancelled with them because the son kept saying he can do everything I was asking then couples days later would switch it up and deny what he said after talking to his dad. And they made a huge deal about breaking and re-pouring a part of my already existing concrete, that I needed removed to run some electrical lines. Like, really? They wanted my electrician to break and re-pour are area that needed to be taken out to run the concrete. So these people that apparently do concrete couldn't break and re-pour a tiny section? That really threw me off. Then the son kept increasing the price and initially said the first payment he only needed $1000 but when it came to collecting it he changed to to more than half the project and all he had done what make the frame for the area and my yard was 90% already leveled prior to them touching my yard. The kid has no idea what he's saying and it's like he switches up infront of his dad so his dad doesn't think he is stupid or something. I don't recommend them at all. After I cancelled then son wanted to charge me more to remove what was done already, like hell no, I already overpaid for the almost nothing job they did. I would give them 0 starts if I could. And btw my electrician had a friend who did concrete and they came and cut the section out with no charge at all read more
