Messaged them through Yelp for a haul away of old furniture, a refrigerator, and other smaller furniture items my family wanted to throw away, and they were able to come in 24 hours. The team consisted of a grandfather and his grandson (super wholesome and cute!) Very friendly little boy and grandfather. There was a mix-up in the price. Initially, they quoted a lower amount based on the pictures I sent, however, once they got here, they increased the price. I was a little perturbed with this, but I went with it, given that we had a lot of stuff to haul away. I would have appreciated a more consistent price. Overall, my family and I helped a lot. We helped to haul the stuff from the house to his truck. My brother had to help with some of the heavy lifting because the fridge was too heavy for Mario to carry himself. We did a lot of labor to get the stuff to the truck. Definitely was expecting the company we hired to do a lot of the laborious work, but we got our exercise in that day helping. Glad we were able to get the stuff hauled away, just wish there was more support from the company in terms of staff that can manage handling the loads. read more

Would've given 5 stars but he came on the wrong day, which was very inconvenient. We were in the middle of cooking a meal so to run out and greet him and sort out their error was not a good experience. He showed me his calendar where " someone" put in the wrong date, however, he's the owner and all of the yelp correspondence shows Sunday as the correct day, not Saturday morning. It was a human error, which happens. Also, he gave me a higher price in person than we agreed on in the yelp messaging system. Not a good way to operate. I showed him the correspondence and he accepted the initial amount. Other than that, Mario is a very nice gentleman and did a good job. I contacted Mario to inquire about removing my sectional sofa. He provided me with a quote without seeing my sofa (1st red flag). The quote was rather low and to ensure there wasn't going to be any changes in price i offered to send pictures. Once he received the photos he agreed his price was low and increased the price by $30 . This was not a problem for me because I knew I had a large sectional and that would be worth it price increase. I asked would he have adequate help he insured me that he would and would arrive at my home at 6 PM. He arrived promptly however there was no one with him (2nd red flag). Reluctantly , we still let him see the sofa we needed removed, knowing that there would be no way he could move it himself. He came in the house looked around, saw the sofa scratched his head, Looked around again and said nothing. My husband offered to help him move the sofa because clearly there was no way he was going to do it himself at that point he said I will have to increase the price. I was confused and asked why because I sent him pictures so he knew what to expect. He said he did not receive The pictures so the price will increase. At this point we were really confused because he wants to increase the price and also wants us to help him. I don't think so! We kindly ask him to leave and we hired another company! Be sure to get a quote from them in writing. I had a good experience the first time when I had them haul some things to the dump. While they were loading up, I asked him how much it would be to move two pieces to another location. His quote was $80.00. The day of the move (which was about a month after the first removal), his son arrived, not Mario. They were not prepared to move furniture, they thought they were hauling things to the dump. He had junk in the trailer, but was able to move it to the back and sweep out the trailer. He didn't have the proper equipment to move big furniture, fortunately I did. The move was a distance of 7.6 miles. Upon arriving at the destination, I told him what his father quoted me, but that I thought $160.00 was more fair. He became upset and said his father would never have quoted $80.00, and that the cost would be $380.00. I was so shocked, I paid the $380.00. When I called Mario the following week, he said that he trusted his son, and if he said that amount, then it was fair. I couldn't reason with him that the original bid was $80.00. Never again! I recommended him to a friend, who used him, and have given his name to several others, but they will no longer use him. I have never written a negative Yelp review, and Mario was not bothered when I told him I would be writing a negative review. He had his money, and didn't care about his reputation. I consider myself to be an honest and fair person, but I won't be so trusting next time. Everything in writing! read more

Mario is very responsive and runs a family operation. I asked him to remove about 800 sq feet of old sod I cut to make room for new sod and pavers. Not only did he remove the heavy and ugly sod but he cleaned all the intricate corners that the sod removal machine missed and he even hand cut a row that I missed by hand. He brough his son and a helper to do the job in less than 2 hours and cleaned up very nicely afterwards. He did much more than I expected and he is worth every penny.
