After taking preliminary measures around the yard, John Le provided a great quote and in 2.5 weeks was able to transform my yard into a beautiful space for my wife and 2 boys. John and team had removed the pre-existing lawn/grass, leveled the soil and ground, put in a 12x15 artificial turf rectangle area, had his team pour in concrete (in the early morning) for majority of the backyard space, created a new soil area for planting, helped moved our lemon tree into this new soil space, and finally installed a new irrigation system that included individual drip spots towards the back wall for other in-ground plants. Service was incredible and I am very pleased with the results. Pictures speak for themselves. We wanted to create a special place to relax and enjoy ourselves. In the course of my research a local landscape design business stood out. This was Traina Thought Landsacpes. It was almost too easy. They were everything we wanted. Their IG was impressive. Great reviews. So we were all in. And what a great decision. Jason and Kellen Traina are amazing. And just as amazing are their crew - foreman Jason, Haiden, and Shawn. Truly craftsmen. Start to finish the project was enjoyable and exciting. We worked with Jason to bring our vision to life. His enthusiasm and knowledge made us feel confident about our choices. It became a shared vision. He took time to show us materials, make suggestions, and work through revisions of our plan until it was right. Kellen kept us on track. She is my favorite emailer ever! Always cheerful and positive. Both Kellen and Jason worked with our budget to make it all happen. Our humble weed-choked patch of earth became our oasis. We now have two amazing water features, lovely drought tolerant plantings, and a unique sophisticated yard that could be featured in any landscape design showcase. Jason got our vision on paper and it was Traina's tremendous team that brought it to life. Foreman Jason along with Haiden and Shawn amazed us every day with what they accomplished. Day by day they transformed our space. They are super nice guys, very considerate, and truly craftsmen. The entire Traina team changed our lives for the better. We feel that it's worth the money and time to engage Traina Thought Landscapes. For a unique and personal space its worth the investment. We have a backyard that is one of a kind and will provide enjoyment and memories for years to come. We are already planning a phase 2 and it will include Traina Thought!

The back of my backyard butts up against the street and they really was no dirt for the rock to sit on. Javier knew to put dirt and fill that area so the new rock would not fall out between my property and the rear fence. After the winter, all the rock started coming out the back of the property onto the street because Javier never put any dirt underneath it where he was supposed to. I sent him photos and asked him if he would fix this and he denied it and said that he put dirt there when you can clearly see there is no dirt there. Now all the rock is falling out. After he told me he put the dirt there I went and really looked again really hard and already knew there was none there and then sent the video showing Javier that there was no dirt. After that, Javier never responded and will not answer my calls. Would not recommend him. I have to put one star to post the review otherwise I would put zero sad to say. Javier seemed like a really nice guy at first.
