An overhanging neighbors birch tree and an old Oak in my property stretching out into my neighbor was causing me grief. I ran into Jeycon's crew while they were serving a home down the neighborhood and they connected me with him. He was prompt and literally solved my tree problems the next day. Affordable Tree Co. came out and did some significant work to my new property in Tracy. The property had quite a bit of overgrowth and deferred maintenance on several mature redwoods, pines and liquid ambers. Victor was prompt in providing me with a quote, which ultimately including completely removing 2 liquid ambers in our front yard. The team spent roughly 3.5 days handling the trimming work and overall did an amazing job. They were timely, cleaned up as best as they could each day and my property is now back to being manageable thanks to some pretty significant pruning. I found Victor's pricing to be fair, and he does a terrific job explaining the process for each tree (including talking me out of a few I originally wanted to completely remove and am now happy I didn't). Response to another lie: Again the job wasn't done YET when I asked to cut it shorter. Get YOUR "facts" straight, you weren't even there! Again you have not lived here for 19 years so you have no idea how much my tree grows and how Why would have I have the need to lie?! I'm just expressing my opinion on my experience which sucked! I didn't ask for my $ cause they did the job. He came to my house looking for business. He would never have collected that extra $150!! By the way he did NOTHING it was his hard working employees that did the job! Also the job was not completed YET that's why I asked to cut it shorter. He also said he'd cut a bush for free before I said yes and then after said oh no that free bush was only if I would have trimmed another tree(I should have known). Lies! I have the ring video of everything he said to me. He asked if I wanted to "bring it down". 1 foot is not bringing it down! And what work order? He gave me nothing in writing and no receipt!! I expect to pay for a job that is done correctly at the quote that was given. Shouldn't contractors give receipts?! I took his word for it!! Lesson learned for sure. Hes the one who should be specific about what he charges! Obviously this guy is unprofessional look at his response. Does not take responsibility for his own actions. What an a**hole! I've attached pics of what was done and also my neighbors tree that was a half a** job at that and charged more! Next time if you want $450 for a tree trim just say it and be done with it. These guys were ok to work with at first then Jeycon completely ghosted me and did not finish the job I paid for in full. Initially gave me a fair quote, seemed knowledgeable, friendly and quick. Had them completely remove a tree in my backyard and trim one in the front. Jeycon even offered suggestions on types of trees to replace the one we were removing. At the end of the day Jeycon said the crew would need to come back to finish the job and grind the stump left from the tree they just cut down because I had "gravel too close to the stump". Gave me an odd feeling when he requested full payment before the job was done but they seemed like super nice guys and said they would be back in a day or two to finish. Well, it has been almost a month. They don't answer my phone calls, return my texts or voicemails. Would have loved to give this company a good review but I wouldn't recommend them after my experience. Hopefully they read this and offer to finish what they started and I paid for. read more

These guys are the best. Came out quickly and beat everyone's price by a long shot. They are very professional and very knowledgeable about trees. We had a 30 year old willow that had rot and one of the large branches had fallen down. These guys came out to assess the situation, I told them I really would love to salvage as much of the tree as we could. They took that all into consideration and cut all the necessary branches to keep the tree healthy and safe. (They even cut all the removed branches into manageable size firewood and piled it neatly for us.) Jeycon was quick to respond with an estimate at a fair price. We set an appointment for noon on a Saturday and when that time came and went, I attempted to reach him on the phone and through the app. After a few hours I gave up, and than I got a phone call 3 hours later with them apologizing to me for the inconvenience. They had a flat tire and some equipment issues. I ended up getting an appointment for the next Monday and an employee did show up (a couple hours late). He did a great job getting the stump out. He took care not to damage any plants or sprinklers. It was challenging that he did not speak English. But he did make attempts to use an app on his phone to translate. Gentleman came to my door saying he was doing work across the street. Gave me a quote to do my tree when he was done and I said great! I agreed i would move my cars when they were ready to start as they were working on a house down the street. But then I called my husband and he felt the quote was too high. I opened my window so I could keep an eye on their arrival. I had to run an errand but when I left, noticed that they had moved on to a house around the corner. And I figured surely they wouldn't start until I moved my cars from the driveway. But when I came back from running my errands, there were 3 people in my yard and they had already begun work. I explained to the son that I didn't think anyone would start without me being there. So he called his dad who was extremely rude. I offered to have them stop and give him partial payment but he wanted to argue w me about how his price was not expensive and that I should go ask what all the neighbors paid and since they already started they were going to finish. I don't care what they paid; if it's more than my husband wanted to pay than that should be enough. If it was in my backyard, would he have helped himself in? If it was indoor work, what would he have done? He wasn't supposed to start until I moved my cars and now, I'm stuck paying because I'm not an asshole. I was looking for tree trimming companies on Yelp when magically Victor from Affordable Tree Company showed up at my door. I have a large magnolia tree in my yard and he could see it from a job they were doing down the street. He proceeded to provide me with a solid quote, way less than the other quote I had received. They did the job quickly (same day) and cleaned up most of their mess - there was several small water bottles and a coffee cup left behind-super minor, but my puppy didn't need the coffee! The name of this company is a joke. They ripped me off. They charged me an exuberant amount of money for just trimming three trees! Not even a full tree removal. This is a very shady company and don't trust them. I do not refer this company to anyone. Look around before hiring this company. They will steal your money. They charged me over $2000 just for a trimming. I had a company that did a full removal of two trees and only charged me $800. EDIT: Only because I am not able to respond to you. I am more than confident that I was way over charged. I stand by my review that your company is a scam. Now if you are willing to make things right, I am willing to work with that. I accepted the VERY fair price quote and they were back with a full crew the same day! I had two large trees cut back due to too much weight on the ends of the branches which caused a branch to fall on our overhang. We also had a neighbor's tree cut back to the fence line. Well today we got this company to trim back are very large Modesto Ash tree that was very over grown & hanging over our house.
