    Breakfast biscuit and cold brew
    Karla M.

It was more crowded than we thought it'd be on a Monday around 9:30am but there was still plenty of seating. We each ordered one of the sausage and egg biscuits and I had the nitro cold brew to accompany mine. Both were heavenly and I could not have been happier with the biscuit. The service was friendly and quick, and we were able to order, enjoy our food, and leave within 20 min. Exactly what we were looking for that day!

Go local! Coffee is smooth and hot. My latte was lovely. Best part about this place was the location- right next to a quilt shop and brewery. It's all goodness.

Their famous Nirvana and breakfast bagel.

Traveling and found this place on yelp. I was looking for a local coffee shop that also prepared some good food for a late brunch. That's exactly what I got! I ordered their famous Nirvana drink on ice and I'm not one for cold brews but I loved it. They have a lot of choices for food. I ordered a breakfast bagel which was really good, maybe a little dry for my taste but still good. My boyfriend got a berry smoothie and their Naan pizza. He loved it. If I'm traveling in Rapid City again I would not mind coming back here.

14 minutes for a small piece of toast with Nutella and banana slices.

Always on the lookout for a good cup of coffee during travels. This was a great discovery. Great service, and a very satisfying cup of java.

I have only had their coffee "shakes", which I would say are an attempt at a Frappucino. They charge more than Starbucks ($5 + tax for a 24 oz!), but are nowhere near as good. They add so much ice to them that you have to poke your straw around and "drink" it a straw full at a time. I usually give up and use a spoon or scrape it put of the cup with the straw. Speaking of the straws: They can't even be bothered with giving one to you. You have to get it out of a jar. They are cheap, skinny and flimsy straws. As i type this, I've been working on my drink so long that I can taste the plastic from the straw. They also don't accept credit/debit cards. Any costs associated with accepting these could certainly be paid for with part of the price of the drink. The one big positive is their baked goods. Cookies and brownies are delicious. However, this is a COFFEE shop, so I am basing my rating solely on the drinks I have had. I would much rather support a local business, as opposed to a national chain, but I'd choose Starbucks over this location any day.

I had a wonderful butterscotch latte and a chocolate chip scone. I don't even like scones generally but this one was fresh out of the oven and delicious. The prices are just right and you can get your coffee and pick up a book to read at the same time. What could be better?

I don't know what it's like when it's busy because on the day we arrived, the entire area was a ghost town. Not even sleepy - no cars on the road and this cafe was even still opening. Walk in, order and find a seat. Not a lot of seating but there's both indoors and out. We chose to sit indoors as it was a little warm and I didn't want to be out under the sun. See pics of the food. Wanted salad. I tend to always want salad. Went with the Springfield. Crisp and fresh - really enjoyed the toppings and dressing. Harmony. That's how I'd describe this salad. I'd definitely have it again. Grabbed the Hot Springs. Wanted a cold sandwich. Wanted an Italian. Closest I could find and the vinaigrette was even on the side so I could add as much or as little as I wanted. I remember enjoying this sandwich so much I considered grabbing a second for the road. However, we're traveling and gotta try other foods and places. This would be one place I'd go back to if or when I find myself back in Rapid City. This cafe is connected to the brewery (Hay Camp Brewing). In fact, that's where the restrooms are if you need it.
