Smoothie + iced latte drinks
Katie F.

Super glad I did a search to find this place! Newer coffee shop and a great downtown location. Walking distance from Main Street square + a hotel just across the street. Upon walking in I was greeted by friendly staff + was impressed with how much space they had. Great for being able to sit down + enjoy some sips! I was indecisive of what I wanted to order, but settled on the GOAT drink of iced honey latte (and asked for cinnamon on top for a miel type vibe) My daughter ordered a berry smoothie + the worker took extra time to ask if my daughter would like sprinkles on top, too, and made her feel welcome as well. We both enjoyed our drinks so much... especially on a hot day! I could tell they were made with care + have some great coffee options (and non-coffee options) at this shop! If I was from the area I'd be frequenting this place often! The vibes, the service, location, + the room. It's a great spot! I hope they continue to thrive as they are a great addition to Rapid City!

So happy i researched ahead of time and we went to this place. Really cool atmosphere. Trendy south dakota coffee shop. The service was quick. They recommended the salted honey butter iced latte. Omfg it was unreal. it was hard to choose because they had so many other options, but this one was insane. It was salty and sweet at the same time. the quality of the espresso was top notch. i regret not going back a second and third time, but we wanted to try out different coffee spots.

Delicious affordable breakfast!! We got a tamale and egg bites for $8, and loved it. Cool ambiance for coffee sipping, too. Highly recommend.

Stopped by Speed Goat Express Coffee during our stay in Rapid City. Friendly staff, quick service, great coffee, and a cute/clean environment.

There aren't many places that produce great food and coffee but this is one of them. They have a…read morebunch of different pastries, baked goods, and regular breakfast items. We ordered a sausage roll, beef pie, hashbrown, aussie breakfast and some hot lattes. The puff pastry they use for the sausage rolls and beef pies is perfect. It's light and flaky. The sausage itself was well seasoned. The beef pie is kind of similar to a sloppy joe minus the tomato flavor, it is comforting and delicious. I just love a good hashbrown and they have a good one. The aussie breakfast is a great option if you want a combo, everything tastes great, the sausage links, bacon, eggs and the sourdough. The lattes were good. We ordered the pumpkin spice and the cafe miele. I enjoyed the hot pumpkin spice latte, it has more pumpkin flavor but it's still pretty discrete. Their lattes are smooth and served at a perfect temperature. There's good seating indoors and outdoors, it's a modern yet cozy atmosphere. The staff are nice, and they will bring you your food and drinks whether you're sitting inside or outside.

We drove by and saw a lot of people so had to try the next morning for breakfast. So glad we did because we loved the Sausage Roll and Bacon Jam Avo Toast! I also loved my Cafe Miel Iced Latte. We also shared the Aussie Breakfast, which was good, hearty, and filling. Notes: Workers were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Clean shop with tables for small and large parties. Outside seating also available. Clean bathroom as well. This was a great way to start our morning before a long drive to Yellowstone!

These pastries are rather bountiful. We selected the cardamon roll, coffee bun, cinnamon roll, morning bun, chocolate croissant, and a slice of banana bread. We got these mostly to go home for future nibbling but had to sample each. I expected the cinnamon roll to be the winner but the coffee bun was by far the most outstanding with its cookie butter filling. The lattes were exceptionally delightful with the right amount of espresso kick and the syrups were not too sweet. The quiche was like a slice of cake! Light, flakey, and delish. My breakfast sandwich was unexpectedly wonderful with a toasted brioche bun, egg, sausage and garlic aioli. Bitesized potatoes made the small plate complete. Believe me, you won't be sour from choosing to dine here. You'll be back!

It was fresh, flavorful, and impossible to stop eating. The hot Calabrian salami was equally impressive. It had the bold, savory flavor and gentle heat you'd expect from authentic Calabrian salami, with a rich depth that made it stand out from anything you find at a typical grocery store. You can really tell they prioritize quality ingredients and traditional craftsmanship. If you're looking for authentic, delicious products that taste like they were made with care, this is definitely a place worth visiting. I'll absolutely be back to stock up and try even more!

I have only had their coffee "shakes", which I would say are an attempt at a Frappucino. They charge more than Starbucks ($5 + tax for a 24 oz!), but are nowhere near as good. They add so much ice to them that you have to poke your straw around and "drink" it a straw full at a time. I usually give up and use a spoon or scrape it put of the cup with the straw. Speaking of the straws: They can't even be bothered with giving one to you. You have to get it out of a jar. They are cheap, skinny and flimsy straws. As i type this, I've been working on my drink so long that I can taste the plastic from the straw. They also don't accept credit/debit cards. Any costs associated with accepting these could certainly be paid for with part of the price of the drink. The one big positive is their baked goods. Cookies and brownies are delicious. However, this is a COFFEE shop, so I am basing my rating solely on the drinks I have had. I would much rather support a local business, as opposed to a national chain, but I'd choose Starbucks over this location any day.

I had a wonderful butterscotch latte and a chocolate chip scone. I don't even like scones generally but this one was fresh out of the oven and delicious.
