The coffee itself lacked freshness and the walls were lined with coffee beans that looked as if they had been sitting there for years with no clear dates to validate their freshness. There's plenty of choice on paper, but without roast dates or origin details, it's hard to know what you're getting--and the flavor reflects that. The brew came off dull, smoky, and overworked rather than expressive or balanced considering the advertised flavors and the price point. If you're looking for a comfortable place to sit, catch up with a friend, or soak in a classic small-town café vibe, this place delivers. But if great coffee is the goal, I'd head elsewhere. Enjoy the atmosphere--but temper your expectations when it comes to what's in the cup.

The professional staff crew is made up Gian, the drink chemist, Sneha & Bri, the product & development analysis team. Submitting my order was such a pleasant experience that I was surprised to be bestowed the honor to be allowed to request my own personal boba mixture (at my own risk of course). Which to my surprise was actually quite good/tolerable, . The Cafe' L'amì employees are a stellar, courteous, and an exemplary personnel that shed an example of what other industry leaders should follow.

The table I chose (high top with metal chair) was not super comfortable and part of the table was broken, so it was a little precarious. The bathroom was clean.
