More like 3.5 stars. We stopped by on a chilly day for a little treat. I got the peppermint mocha and my friend had one of their teas. Both our drinks were great - served super hot which was great on such a cold day. Just based on drink quality, the rating would be a 4-5. I dropped the rating a star because of the sticker shock. It was almost $9 for the peppermint mocha and around $5.50 for the tea (just from a tea bag). Other good things to note: The decor is super cute and the chairs are comfy. There's a fun vibe. I really wanted an iced latte recently that wasn't from Dunkin or Starbucks, so I stopped by one of the favorite small businesses & was not disappointed! I tried their Toasted Marshmallow latte with a super yummy sugar donut that had a nostalgic taste in a good way! Stopped by this cute coffee shop after seeing the sign for açaí bowls on the door and then looking them up and seeing all the sweet treats. For me $18 for an açaí bowl is high but it was a good sized bowl and packed with toppings. So much so that I had to put a 1/4 to the side to be able to eat from bowl without making a mess. I also paid for 2 cookies, donut and muffin(muffin was missing-should have checked bag before I left.) Cookies are made by an outside bakery and while they are big the cookies were dry and I will not be getting again. Donut was small but good and not too sweet. Please do not support this business. After coming to this establishment on multiple occasions and purchasing coffee that is well overpriced to say the least the owner took it upon herself to kick me out advising that I was using her space and electricity for over three hours working on my laptop during the weekday without making a purchase which was untrue as I purchased a donut earlier after being asked by staff. Apparently the donut purchase wasn't good enough. She also began to argue with me after advising that the very aggressive way she approached me was acceptable and not poor customer service simply because she "didn't curse". I say that all to say the treatment from management was disgusting and this is literally my first time writing a review. Might I add that at the time his occurred it was not rush hour, raining and one other customer was sitting inside. Had she asked in a respectful manner I would've taken it upon myself and purchased other items and complied with any other "rules" she established in her shop. Good specialty coffees, iced and hot as well as lattes and other hot beverages. The pastries, cookies, all desserts are baked in house. This is their second location. The ambience is very pretty with photo ops for social media. My latte and daughters were served in nice wide cups that appeared to be made of clay but I don't know for certain. They reminded me of something you'd find made on a pottery wheel. Doubt they were but that is what the cup and saucer reminded me of. The Tiramisu and blueberry muffin were good. The coffee house is in a new building right by the Yonkers Waterfront. This area has been revitalized with a lot of high end apartment buildings along the Hudson River and on adjacent streets where Sheza is located. Plenty of metered street parking in the immediate vicinity. I was there on a holiday so there was a lot of street parking. I wish them well. There was a previous coffee house in the same location that they took over as well as another a few blocks away which is also no longer in business. read more

Customer service was basic. One person in the front. Prior customer had a regulat order( 3 sandwiches and 3 drinks). The young man did not acknowledge me but was super focused on the order. What seemed to be a supervisor acknowledged that I needed help and took my order. I ordered a blueberry done and a cinnamon roll. Blueberry done was moist but missing something. Boy, I can't remember the last time I left an online review, at least six years ago, and certainly more for a negative one, as I truly do believe in reaching out to Management first. I did try reaching out to owners, but received no reply. I want to love this place, I really do. As others have said it is absolutely beautiful and the staff is very nice. Every time I come in though it takes forever to get my drink and get out, there could be one person in front of me, and it can still take over well over 10 minutes. There is no condensing of steps or multitasking by the barista, they will work on one drink until finish before starting the next one, without acknowledging the long wait, and I never see more than 1 on at a time. I don't know if this is policy or simply a training issue, and I don't mind paying daily for a great coffee and service, but as their prices are sometimes laughably high, and when you have to catch a train it just doesn't cut it. I've been so sad to see my favorite coffee places close, both on Main Street and in the station itself, and as I want to support local, I really wanted this to be my place, but sadly, it looks like it is not to be. Starbucks is quicker, more reliable and, (I cannot believe I am saying this), cheaper. Wish I could give it a zero rating. I went in today for the third and last time. I've noticed that the woman behind the counter doesn't seem pleased to have myself or my family patronize her business. Today I walked in and patiently waited to order. I again noticed that she was extremely nice to a couple saying to them, "good morning, what can help you with?" They order and went outside to wait. While she was making their order she said to me one moment. When she was ready for me to place my order she said with a dry demeanor, what can I get you, with her back turned to me. I said Good Morning and smiled she quickly repeated GM and what can I get you. I turned my stroller around and left. I will not support someone who doesn't want me in their shop and she makes that clear every time. I live in the neighborhood property that her shop is connected to but I'll get in my car and drive to go where I am welcomed. As far as the pastries they are overpriced and taste ok but the taste is overpowered by whatever cleaner or baking soda freshener they use in the fridge., specifically the cakes they all tasted like a cleaning product. I don't drink coffee so can't common that. Croissant was ok. I will pick another place to stop with my baby after taking a morning walk. Went there for breakfast on a Saturday morning, for a family of 4. We spent $83 but had plenty to try. Food was fresh. The coffee was amazing, and the girl that helped us was lovely. Theres a nice vibe going on inside this coffee shop and the service was great! I almost never choose Sheza and only occasionally stop by because MonAmour closes earlier and the local Starbucks doesn't have seating. During my visit to see family over the holidays--unfortunately, right next door to this circus--I was subjected to their obnoxiously loud music at all hours. When I called to ask them to turn it down, they pretended to comply, only to crank it up even louder in a deliberate act of defiance. Their pathetic excuse? "It's a place of business." A business built on tormenting the neighborhood, apparently. The noise blasts from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., turning every day into a nightmare. As for the owner, I initially mistook her sour expression for RBF, but it turns out her personality is as hideous as her appearance.
