The staff is fast, friendly, and truly goes out of their way to take care of every customer. This is a wonderful family-owned deli, and you can feel the pride they put into everything they do. We've ordered catering several times, and it's always been a hit. Their 6-foot subs are especially popular at our events--they're generously filled, beautifully made, and an incredible value. I'm also obsessed with their lentil soup--it's one of the best I've ever had! They offer free parking, and you can call ahead to place your order, which makes things even more convenient. Just keep in mind that they are cash only. If you're looking for great food, generous portions, fair prices, and friendly service, I highly recommend giving them a try.

He snapped at me once for daring to put down $10.50 worth of purchases on the counter when the credit charge minimum was $12. (I was new to the neighborhood. Forgive me.) Now he just snapped at me because their credit machine couldn't read my debit chip. He sneered at me before demanding the cashier get another card from me as though I were a criminal who was obviously up to something. I absolutely wasn't. Also, was that the greatest way to treat a regular customer? (I almost shoved my bank balance on my phone into his face, then I reminded myself of my actual age.) I swore I'd never come back to this a-hole, but I know I will. I'll be back because their sandwiches are delicious, and they're 50 steps from my door. The coffee is fairly excellent, too. Best of all, the whole bodega is spotless, which speaks volumes compared to other places. So customer service sucks, but it's a bodega, not church. I'll get over it, I guess. I'll just have to. They're too good.

Great variety of sandwich options (almost 40 on the menu). Meat portion is awesome as I was given probably about 12 oz of pastrami. I forget the exact price, but it was something like $13. Amazing value considering that some places in Manhattan will charge $20-25 for a similar sandwich. Employees are very friendly and make you feel at home. Can't wait to try some of their other options.

I had…read morepassed by their storefront multiple times but never really explored their menu or what they were all about. However, today I had a chance to skim it, and it looked good enough for me to try them out. From the looks of it, GTGG is kind of like an all-in-one takeout place; they really have a bit of everything. Breakfast, sandwiches, salads, wraps, burgers, etc were all present on the menu. I was looking for a sandwich, and as soon as I saw "goat cheese" listed on one of them I was sold. In addition to said cheese, it contained grilled chicken, cucumbers, roasted peppers, and balsamic. I noticed that I had an option to have the sandwich in a lettuce wrap instead of on bread so I chose that - you know, because healthy. The sandwich, I mean wrap (wrapwich??) was good. They did a good job packing the lettuce tight so it wouldn't fall apart when picking it up (some of it did, but it comes with the territory). It doesn't matter though because the flavors were there and it tasted fresh - plus they gave me a fork to pick up the remains ;-) Overall, a yes - I'm glad I decided to order from here. What I had was good and wouldn't hesitate to try them again.

Sides and dessert were fine, though the creamed spinach was more cream than spinach, which was gross. The largest sandwich size I purchased was the Chipotle Chicken Cheese Sandwich was delicious. I think maybe I should have added bacon to it. I saw a lot of it ready to be eaten. Jersey Mike's Subs has easily become my go-to spot for a consistently great sandwich. Every visit…read morereminds me why I keep coming back. My regular order is the #6 Roast Beef with Provolone. I skip the "Mike's Way" and go with my own style: a light touch of lettuce (otherwise they'll load it up!), onions, jalapeños, salt and pepper, and mayonnaise. Every now and then I'll add bacon, but honestly, it's perfect as is. I usually go for the regular or the giant--because it's just that good. My father-in-law is just as loyal to his order as I am to mine. He always goes for the giant Ham and Swiss with tomato, lettuce, and a drizzle of oil. Simple, consistent, and always done right. What really makes this location stand out, though, is the service. The team here brings a level of warmth and energy that you don't see everywhere. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with genuine smiles and conversation. They take the time to remember you, and that kind of personal connection goes a long way. Akin's energy greets me without missing a beat. Louis is always smiling, saying hello, and even asking how I'm doing--and sometimes how my father-in-law is doing when he's not with me. Joe keeps the team spirit going strong, while Randy and Natalia are always welcoming and engaging. Willow and Anthony are consistently putting in the work, and Luigi took the time to walk me through the different types of hams by name and always greets me with a smile. Even the team members whose names I don't know yet contribute to that same great atmosphere--and I appreciate them just as much. I've also noticed the owner making rounds, checking in with customers and creating a welcoming environment. It's a small touch that makes a big impact--and the occasional warm cookie doesn't hurt either. And I'll be honest--I make it a point to stop in on Wednesdays because of the double points (whether I order online or in-store). I like to save my points... lol! You can tell there's real pride here, both in the quality of the sandwiches and the relationships they build with their customers. Great food, great people, and a place that truly feels welcoming every time. This location is doing it right.
