Large iced of coffee
Taylor S.

New cafe shop in Yonkers. Super small cafe with 2 small tables for seating. They get their baked goods from other bakeries and they looked okay. The decor is cute with some fake greenery and floral accents. They have coffee, tea (limited selection behind the counter), and hot chocolate. My friend got an ice coffee and it had a robust flavor, wasn't bad. I ended up not ordering anything because the hot tea options were limited (black, green, decaf green and chamomile). We got here super early as their grand opening is in a week. I'd come try it again in a few months to see if there is a great selection of appealing items.

waiting for my bev (: nice lighting in the morning!

The staff is welcoming and attentive, the space looks like it is always buzzing, and really gives you the feel of this is THE coffee shop in town. Where it falls short is in the cup. The coffee itself lacked freshness and the walls were lined with coffee beans that looked as if they had been sitting there for years with no clear dates to validate their freshness. There's plenty of choice on paper, but without roast dates or origin details, it's hard to know what you're getting--and the flavor reflects that. The brew came off dull, smoky, and overworked rather than expressive or balanced considering the advertised flavors and the price point. If you're looking for a comfortable place to sit, catch up with a friend, or soak in a classic small-town café vibe, this place delivers. But if great coffee is the goal, I'd head elsewhere. Enjoy the atmosphere--but temper your expectations when it comes to what's in the cup.

Please do not support this business. After coming to this establishment on multiple occasions and…read morepurchasing coffee that is well overpriced to say the least the owner took it upon herself to kick me out advising that I was using her space and electricity for over three hours working on my laptop during the weekday without making a purchase which was untrue as I purchased a donut earlier after being asked by staff. Apparently the donut purchase wasn't good enough. She also began to argue with me after advising that the very aggressive way she approached me was acceptable and not poor customer service simply because she "didn't curse". I say that all to say the treatment from management was disgusting and this is literally my first time writing a review. Might I add that at the time his occurred it was not rush hour, raining and one other customer was sitting inside. Had she asked in a respectful manner I would've taken it upon myself and purchased other items and complied with any other "rules" she established in her shop. Don't expect to be treated with respect here even after you've supported her business in the past smh. Staff was very nice and the decor is beautiful though

The ambiance alone makes it a standout spot for coffee dates, catching up with friends, or simply enjoying a peaceful moment. The service was warm and inviting, making the experience even better from start to finish. The coffee was amazing--smooth, flavorful, and clearly crafted with care. The desserts truly stole the show. The strawberry shortcake and the double chocolate mousse were both a hit--fresh, rich, and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet. One of the highlights is the gorgeous floral wall, available for all your selfies and content moments, adding a fun and stylish touch to the space. Overall, Sheza Coffee House delivers on ambiance, quality, and experience. Beautiful space, inviting service, great coffee, delicious desserts, and picture-perfect vibes. Definitely a must-visit in Riverdale!
