I went to this coffee shop for a Westchester Social Club event and I was blown away by it! They have so many cool coffees, teas, and all the other things that coffee has. They also have a great selection of desserts and pastries. I got the green tea lemonade and it was perfect. It was not too sweet. I then got the blueberry scone and omg. It was probably the best scone I've ever had. It had like an oat topping. It wasn't sweet. Just perfect. I also for the cookie butter mousse and oh my god. OUTSTANDING. It was a perfect little treat!!! The vibes and service were also top tier.

We came here near to closing and almost missed our chance to try out their crepes, thankfully the staff that was there was the sweetest! She was able to get our two crepes freshly made with a smile on her face, she was so pleasant and kind & the crepes were fresh and tasted amazing. I was pleasantly surprised. We got two crepes with nutella, banana & strawberries. I also got a spinach burek to go but haven't tried it yet. I can't wait go back to try their lattes and additional menu items. I would go back on my customer service experience alone!

Ive been wanting to go here since I heard it opened and today I NEEDED to go here.Im so glad I did. Dessert for lunch was amazing. They have tons of varieties of hot chocolate, I got the French vanilla. And a brownie filled crepe. You heard that right. A BROWNIE FILLED CREPE. And both items were absolutely magical. Can't want to go back and get another awesome drink! Perhaps a pink latte (Whatever that is!)!

Real authentic Italian coffee. Way better places for coffee in Bronxville. They should be in Yonkers.

Latte was a little to light on coffee and more milky. Service was fine and ambiance was quiet and with light music.

Espresso and Cappuccino are fairly good made with Zanetti beans and imported Italian steam machine.

What a difference in design from the previous Brrzaar café in this same spot years ago. The color on all the walls adds a minimalist+chic feel but keeps the clean look that only a white paint provides! It's the perfect balance, in my opinion. If it's an upbeat café you're after, this husband+wife team at LuDy (named after the couple's 2 children) are bringing their Melbourne coffee culture to quaint Irvington, NY. They partner with Proud Mary Coffee to bring coffee to the masses, Flour Power from Pelham, NY to offer scrumptious baked goods and Spirit Tea. Judging by the number of people I found sitting at the tables chitchatting with their friends/co-workers, etc during my Tuesday 11am visit, this is the place for a hangout over bites and beverages. But do also know, LuDy is loud. I'm not sure if people nowadays know common conversation 101 courtesy using a normal volume. Anyhow. Since their June '24 opening, LuDy's owner is setting himself apart in the community and is the epitome of a friendly neighborhood cafe. And service from him, the morning I was here, was pure gentlemanly as he located a chair for me to sit at one of the empty tables. Thank you! My hibiscus+lemongrass+ ginger root 'Rosella Tonic' iced tea was refreshing. What would've taken my hot chocolate (made with a chocolate sauce) to the next level would've been a darker chocolate kind. But the barista zhuzhed up my drink with a pattern like it was coffee. Thank you again!

I also got a chocolate milk which was a Nesquik bottle which I haven't had in a while, the taste still holds up to when I was a kid! The pancakes were different but good! The sausage and bacon were regular and normal, nothing crazy. The eggs were probably a little overdone for my liking but I think I should've probably just asked for over easy since these yolks were barely runny at all. The sourdough was a great companion to the eggs though! The biggest downside to this place is that it's cash only. Very inconvenient and we didn't know until I showed up, luckily I had some on me and had enough for my friend who was with me. Overall a very laid back, casual, old school vibes. Solid, well balanced, quick breakfast!

However, I'm happy to report that I dined here recently and had a better experience. Since the time of my initial review, La Casa remained in my periphery - mainly because my parents periodically visited and it was a frequent stop of one of my friends who lives in Bronxville. That being said, I was curious to check out La Casa again - and that opportunity came when my mother chose here to celebrate Mother's Day. La Casa is located just off the main commercial strips. The interior is pretty spacious with a bar towards the front of the restaurant and the main dining room split in two sections. The decor is somewhat under-toned with a cool color scheme and tasteful decor. This is in contrast with other Mexican restaurants that tend to go overboard with the kistch and warm colors. I will say the seats look a little tired, they could use some re-upholstering - and were a little lower to the ground than I expected. In addition to the indoor space, they have an outdoor section which was done up very nicely. The brunch menu contained a selection of apps, sides, quesadillas, tacos, and sides. We decided to start by splitting a few apps: brisket and al pastor tacos, a quesadilla, street corn, chips and guac, and more guac with tuna. All the apps were tasty - the biggest standouts for me were the quesadilla and the tacos which were all generously filled and had good flavor. For my main, I got the camarones a la diabla which were shrimp in a red pepper sauce placed atop beans and paired with bok choy. The dish was pretty good - the shrimp could have been a bit snappier, but I appreciate that they de-shelled them and the sauce and beans worked well with them. Dare I say the bok choy was the star of the dish? It had just enough flavor and added a needed green. We opted for dessert, and I got the grilled pineapple which was paired with (per the menu) vanilla ice cream or guanabana sorbet. I wasn't asked to choose, and was served the sorbet. I would have liked to have been given the option, but maybe that's all they had - fwiw the sorbet was good. The pineapple was candied and came as a large, thick ring - definitely needed a knife and fork to cut it up (which they provided); this was a good dish in concept but I think it can be executed better. Service was good, everyone was friendly and efficient. In my experience, service tends to be the weakest component of a meal on a holiday, but they did a great job. Overall, I had a good experience at La Casa. Even though it's not in my backyard, I would definitely return if the opportunity presented itself.
