Honestly, it's been a tough year. I saw the reviews of this location and was hesitant to visit. But, my experience was 5 Star! The drive thru line was long, but the cars moved very quickly which could only indicate that the inside crew has their act together. I was in and out of the line in 5 mins or less. The food items I ordered were the mini bagels (new) and the chocolate iced donuts with sprinkles. From experience, Dunkin' has old and tough donuts but not here! I was very pleased with the freshness and the bagels were not over cooked! The drive thru attendant was very nice and super quick. If the outside experience is anything like the inside, I know I would be equally pleased. My kids and I had a very unpleasant experience at this Dunkin' in Waxhaw. From the moment we drove up, the manager was rude, which immediately set the tone for the rest of our visit. Unfortunately, the staff followed that same example with poor service and an unwelcoming attitude. A visit to Dunkin' should be quick, friendly, and family-friendly, but this location fell far short of that. This particular Dunkin' has been problematic for the last couple of years, whether it's customer service, getting the order right or the long wait times. When I do go inside, I typically see the staff standing around and talking with one another, not paying attention to the long lines at drive thru. There have been times where the donuts I get are cold and stale like they've been sitting there for about 7 hours and the coffee, well it's not really coffee but more like water with a coffee taste. I agree with other reviewers that the staff can be rude and not customer service oriented, the can be indifferent to your needs and basically they want you out of the store as quickly as possible so they can get back to talking amongst each other. Full disclosure, I only visit this location because it's close to my home and my daughter likes the doughnut holes but not the doughnuts...go figure! If you don't mind driving a bit further then I would skip this location and go to another establishment that values customer service, is professional, courteous and willing to show appreciation for your patronage. read more

Extremely rude AND at 5:45 am...they woke up made and are taking it out on customers. My order was completely wrong, matter of fact the exact opposite of what I ordered. The person at the window taking orders blamed it on the person putting the orders together. I was the only customer they had inside or drive-through. . The hot food had a weird oven like taste to it. Coffee was way too sweet. The staff just didn't seem interested in being there at all.

Love waiting in a long line for a coffee with cream only to get a mile down the road and realize it is really a cream without coffee! Had to throw it out and pull through a Starbucks where I know they will be consistent. This place is always out of the donuts or munchkins I live. It is really hot or miss on most days. Something is seriously wrong with the warmers at this Dunkin. Bagels that are toasted, a breakfast sandwich and anything else that has to be warmed has a horrible burnt taste. This burnt taste has been going on for years and I'm shocked that no one has bothered to fix this issue. read more

I tried to call about an application the first time it hung up and the 2nd time i tried to call the lady on the phone she forgot to put me on hold. This location has gone down the tubes fast! The line is ridiculous everyday. Servers are unfriendly daily! Every time I receive my coffee it is spilling out of the sides of the lid and ALWAYS HAS COFFEE GRINDS AT THE BOTTOM!! They would not let me in and order. I tried to tell them that I'm deaf and they do not care. How can they deny the communication with me? Is that how you would treat deaf people? I bought close to $30 worth of product from this location. My $50 bill was refused at the register. There is no sign in the store that says they do not take $50 bills. I then had to walk across the parking lot to a gas station to get change and then return to the store to pay for my items. The cashier then asked me if I had the exact change of $.51. When I told her no because I just walked across the parking lot to get change for my $50 bill, I was told I was not getting my $.49 change because of a coin shortage. That's basically stealing my $.49!! How many other people is this being done to and how much extra money is Dunkin' Donuts stealing by not giving change back to customers with no sign in the store saying that we need exact change?!! I will be putting this on social media for everyone to see how Dunkin' Donuts is treating their customers and I will never go to Dunkin' Donuts again. THE WORST Dunkin in the area. The service is not friendly, extremely slow and not to mention rude. I've had issues with my drink order almost every time at this location. This dunkin' as well as the one is Wesley chapel has completely ruined my friends mental health. She initially worked part time and eventually got manipulated into working more hours pretty much daily. She felt stuck and as if she couldn't take off work with her manager wanting her to work more hours many days. Now everytime she walks into work the staff begins make fun of her and treat her rudely. And very frequently she is left to take control of the store while her team member sits and does nothing ll. As someone who has struggled with their mental health i've noticed the negative outcomes due to her working here. This review is to bring awareness of how this Dunkin' donuts is treating their staff.
