I've heard so many great things about Erie and finally got to try it! We stopped in after having…read morebrunch nearby. There was a short line but it was moving along quickly. The shop is small with limited places to hang out -- there's a small counter where you can stand and sip your coffee. Otherwise, they have a few small tables outside. There's a second room which has cute merch and a fridge with additional cold beverages for sale. I tried the vanilla latte and took home some treats! The spinach handpie - basically a spinach/cheese breakfast pastry, the cinnamon roll (to die for!! It was fluffy and sweet but not overly sweet like other places are), and a pumpkin cheesecake bar with pomegranate seeds. What I really like about Erie is that they make all these delicious treats and once they are sold out, they're sold out. They don't make more for the rest of the day and they don't waste food. It's always fresh!

Our area has no shortage of bakeries but those of us that have sampled a number of them realize, there are truly ones that stand out from the rest. Erie Coffee Shop & Bakery is one of those bakeries! Cute old school bake shop. Really nice and professional staff. I went in trying to be "good" and not some out with a lot. Easier said than done in this bake shop. Everything looks amazing! I asked for recommendations and left with the citrus olive oil cake, chocolate chip cookie, almond cookie, and a Madeleine. Within a couple of hours, I devoured the citrus olive oil cake. Absolutely perfect! Hint of citrus and just the right amount of moist. Also, the perfect size to feel fulfilled without feeling overly guilty. Later that night, I went for the almond cookie. Amazing texture, truly better than any almond horn I've had. The next day, I broke a piece off of the chocolate chip cookie that we got for our daughter. Perfect cookie. Then I reached for the madeleine, better than any literary device I've ever had! Transported me to my couch, where I speechlessly consumed it with some tea! Awesome! I'll be back!

The Lyndhurst Pastry Shop located on Ridge Road is an iconic must visit during the holiday season…read more There quality pastry, cookie, pie, bread, and cakes are without peer and their staff is always professional and top rate. I ordered the Christmas Honey balls ($19.95) and the Fudge Layer Cake ($29.50) and while I disagree with the credit card fee being passed to the consumer, the quality of the product exceeds that cost. Inside the venue is a true classic bakery atmosphere and while there is usually a line, the service is brisk and moves fairly quickly. If you want to impress your holiday season guests, family or friends, the LPS is the right venue for traditional Italian baked goods and desserts! As i return to NJ for the holidays, I will make at least three or four stops at LPS. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I have been…read morea patron of the Lyndhurst Pastry Shop since childhood & honestly, it very well could have been the first business I actually spent my "own" money at as a child. LPS has mastered the delicate balance of old school & staying with current trends, all while maintaining the most important parts: quality & flavor! The best of the best when it comes to Italian bakeries - it's no secret why people travel far & wide to get their baked goods from here, because no celebration is complete without a box from LPS on the table. Summer isn't summer without a Yum-yum (or whatever flavor you choose) from their window. It's a Jersey kid right of passage as far as I'm concerned. Service is always kind & friendly, no matter how busy they are. They are the epitome of "neighborly" & treat each customer in kind. Overall, a Lyndhurst staple & one of our best!

My family and I have tried so many flavors, im trying to think of the ones I love because they all taste amazing! The latest flavor that I love was the peach cobbler - drool- but the cozz coffee flavor, coffee and donuts are meant to be together. Hands down, a must try and if you've already tried... you'll be back multiple times. Cheers to these sisters!!

The week I noticed Food Baby the flavors were all fruit-infused. Grapefruit. Strawberry. Blueberry. Cherry. Peach. Here's what I tried... The Old Fashioned: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, glazed and grapefruit infused. Not too sweet, nothing artificial, smelled amazing. Definitely my favorite. These are like donuts from my childhood. Glad I got two of these to share. So good. The Classic frosted: soft inside and out, liberally covered in all natural frosting (no food dyes here) I picked Strawberry Oat Milk and Blueberry Oat Milk. Yum. The Stuffed Classic: their version of a jelly donut. I got the Strawberry and the jelly inside was rolled into the dough so nothing squirted out as you ate. Delicately covered in sugar. Absolutely delicious and another fave. I did share this box (with non-vegans, and they loved them too!) but I'm excited to order again and have some all to myself. It's probably a good thing (for my pants, ahem) that there isn't a storefront and you do need to think ahead and order online for pickup on Sunday. Watch their Instagram for rotating flavors and events. Pickup was quick, efficient and really friendly. Also, the packaging was just as beautiful as the donuts inside. Too pretty to eat...well, almost :) Enjoy!
