I occasionally buy a box of donuts as a treat when we have guests or to bring to a business meeting. The times I've been to Tracy's Dunkin Donuts, the donuts have always been fresh, the service great, and there's never a long wait. I notice that, whoever helps you, they always seem to be patient and cheerful. Just the last time I was there, for example, I ordered a small box of half a dozen donuts. As I was making my selection, the person helping me volunteered that her favorite was a cheesecake donut that not many shops offer. I mentioned that her recommendation sounded very good but the people I was picking up the box for prefer plain or chocolate types. As I paid my bill, the clerk said, "Wait a second." And she quickly bagged a cheesecake donut and said, "This is on the house. I hope you enjoy it. Come back soon." Just like she had described it, the cheesecake donut was slightly tart, crusty on the outside, and with a creamy texture on the inside. She was right, I'll be back soon. What's happening here yikes I have tried this DD a few times now always having hope that they will come through and be what I know DD to be like the east coast DD. WRONG! Everything here has been either very poor to down right terrible. The donuts are absolutely not fresh, not even good. I have had several different donuts and they are just not good. Coffee is never right, tastes watered down, and always comes out white as if it's all cream. I even ordered it black thinking the workers just mess it up and nope it's still strange and off color. Decided to try last straw and just buy the beans myself and brew it, they were 1 week from expiring lol. Unbelievable So sad I always have hope DD will make it out here it's so good in the east coast. Interior is nice but very loud. Staff seems not all in tune sometimes. They take time to really connect with the customers to make sure they have the best experience. I went to Dunkin today, and met one of the nicest dudes. Guy working the drive thru mumbled while taking my order, had to ask him many times to repeat himself. Sounded half-awake and not ready to work. When I get to the pay window I'm handed my iced coffee, -unfortunately didn't take a 2nd look. When I start drinking it, it tastes like water. I look at it and see he put way too much cream, not enough sugar / coffee. My coffee basically looks like milk w buncha ice chips. I've gone to this DD several times but after this experience, I prob won't be coming back. Yes, their customer service is hit and miss, at times the lines are long and so I just keep on driving but never the less the coffee is always good and their breakfast sandwiches are yummy. Terrible service. The first time I went there I ordered a hot coffee which they made so well in advance that when I got it it was completely cold. Gave them the benefit of the doubt, second time my husband went inside and they had him waiting 45 minutes, did not give him the courtesy of telling him it was going to take a while. When our order was ready half of the stuff was cold because they made it 45 minutes in advance. When asking for the cold stuff to be remade they said no, and when asking for the managers name or the store number she said "I don't have to tell you my name and I don't have to tell the the store number." Extremely disrespectful to us in front of other customers, I would never recommend anyone to go to this poorly ran establishment. Still haven't heard from the franchise owner. read more

I've been to this location several times giving it the benefit of the doubt. Everything about it stinks. Coffee, donuts and service. They are always out of the vanilla cream donuts or don't have any ready when they are opened at 5am. I ordered an iced caramel mocha and they asked if I wanted cream and sugar I'm it, I thought mocha's usually come sweetened so when I asked if it usually comes that way the cashier got an attitude with me and told me to look at their coffee sign. The first time I've ever been here I told them it was my first time yet no one helped me out instead just rushed me to order something I ended up not liking. A majority of yelp reviews have gone over the two biggest reason why DD is on my shitlist: overpriced/not fresh donuts and the uber-shitty decision to locate in the parking lot of an established donut shop. So there's two big strikes right there. Te one thing I will say, their coffee is far better than any other drive-thru establishment in the area and cheaper than Starbucks. Of course, that's not a good enough reason for me to go here over Mark's across the parking lot. I'm genuinely not sure how Dunkin' will last. read more

Called last night to order 5 dozen assorted donuts and two coffee travels (joe's...boxed coffee). Asked it to be ready at 7:30am the following morning. I arrived there promptly at 7:25 Coffee was not ready, (had to wait 20 minutes), staff was rude and not in uniform. When I arrived at my destination and opened donuts they were only two different kinds and stale. Must have been left over from the night before and obviously weren't sealable. Caution to everyone....bad service, bad donuts and staff that cares less about your time. read more

If i could id leave a lower star rating. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. ive been coming here for months and they always mess up one way or another with wrong flavors, disgusting drinks, etc. Sometimes i get home taste my drink and it tastes like they drank milk, threw it up into my cup and then added my flavor in it. THEY ALWAYS MESS UP. I went and my stomach was hurting after and the entire night i felt sick and i could not sleep. The next week i went back because i assumed i mustve just not felt right that night. I had a medium sized iced drink and after i felt horrible almost immediately after finishing. I had the worst stomach pains ive ever had and the worst stomach cramps. It felt like satan himself grabbed my intestines twisted them up and ripped them out. I was crying in pain for hours until i eventually threw up for about 40 minutes straight and then fell asleep on my bathroom ground. Wouldve went to the ER if there wasnt a deadly virus going around. I bought 2 frozen drinks that day for 2 people in my family and they had bad stomach pains for hours after but not nearly as bad as mine. One of the worst feelings ive ever had. Any other coffee place ive went to messes up from time to time but not once have their drink ever been completely disgusting, gotten me sick , or even messed up pretty much every time. Do not come here EVER please its worth the drive to a different dunkin or different coffee place. This place is a total scam and ill never come to this location ever again. Please just close it down . Not sure if they added poison in my drink or just wanted me to die.probably couldve drank bleach and wouldnt feel as bad as drinking their coffee. I make time living across town to come every morning before work for my iced coffee. Lately the quality is terrible. It's basically milk and sugar with a splash of coffee. The girl at the drive thru who took my order today was nice and I feel bad being cranky with her but the girl making the drink (wearing a brown sweater) was so rude rolling her eyes and instead of making a new one she just poured out a little cream and added some coffee. It's 10/11 and I was there around 915am. I understand we're human and maybe have a bad day but come on, it's just an iced coffee to make! And yesterday, I ordered an iced coffee as always and the girl even repeated back my order and I got charged incorrectly for a more expensive drink. She refunded me once I corrected her but I've yet to see it hit my account. Like I said, I come here everyday for over a years and maybe had one hiccup. This last week has just done it for me. OK I went to Dunkin' Donuts (which I love the coffee) this morning. They have a promo 2for$2; 2for$3; 2for$5. I wanted to purchase one of the promo items but WITHOUT meat. They told me it is a different price I would have to pay full price for the item if I do not want the meat. This is ridiculous and my money will stay in its wallet. I completely understand if I was adding an extra item to the sandwich, but I simply asked to remove the meat and I am forced to pay full price. Well not today. read more

Ahh a childhood memory that can always be relived. Dunking Donuts was one of my main doughnut places as a kid and I don't think it will ever change. This morning, I walked into Dunkin Donuts with the fresh smell of Boston Creme, Glazed and Jelly Doughnuts knowing that temptation got the best of me when I ordered a dozen of doughnuts from the gallery. I also ordered four small coffees that were neatly made. There was no mess in the box even with a bumpy car trip. The Employees were very kind and didn't make any complaints or mistakes while we were ordering. Overall a decent experience and I hope to come back very soon to get more creamy temptations soon. read more

I have been reading the reviews here snd I had to stop and make sure they were talking about Dunkin in Tracy. I go here at least four times a week. The only complaint I have is sometimes they are out of Carmel. I love their hot coffee, iced coffee and frozen coffee. The lines can be long and sometimes slow but then so is Starbucks which is why I stopped going after finding Dunkin. I have never had a rude person. Sometimes a new person gets something wrong but that doesn't bother me because they are willing to work. So on a scale of 1 to 10 they are beyond a ten. I have always been treated good. I always treat the staff the way I want to be treated and remember that they are trying to earn a living and willing to work thru all this Covid mess so I say thank you Dunkin employees for giving me great service and great coffee read more

Ok so ive been to this place 3x now and heres what i think. The donuts are stale. You could barely taste the flavor of the donuts because its all bread. Its like they dont even dunk the donuts on the flavorings they have. I had a chocolate donut that looked like they just did one stroke of chocolate with a paint brush or something. have you ever ran out of ink and you scribbled all over the paper to let the ink out. my donut looked like that! Anyhow, there always out of donuts(dont know why), its expensive and theres really nothing to choose from. Also, this place has the worst of the worst Customer Service ever!! for 3 different times that i went within 1 year... i cant believe the service did not change for that period of time. Dont believe me... go and see for yourself.. dont waste your money tho.. get water if its free. lolz! Other donut shop is across the parking lot.. better service! better donuts! more varieties! cheaper donuts! enough said.... We ordered and the kid was very rude and didn't have the order right, I asked to repeat and he still didn't get it right. Well, I must say I was a bit ALARMED today 12/13/15. Stopped in for a dozen donuts and some coffee for home. Several things happened in rapid succession that set the mood for this visit, 1). Tried ordering a bagel breakfast item. "Sorry, we're out of bagels" came that mysterious voice over the speaker. 2). Second issue: The Tracy dozen is now $10.99 and the donuts don't include gold dusted sprinkles! $10.99 a dozen? Really? Local donut shops are priced lower for better quality donuts! 3). Drove up to the window to pay for and pick up order. Now is when it goes BAD!!! The person taking cash and credit was wearing plastic gloves for sanitation purposes but as I watched these employees handle the cars ahead of me, they were taking dirty cash and credit cards (that have been who knows where), then they are moving to fill donut orders! Using the same germ covered gloves used to take payment and then reaching over to grab donuts and place them in the box!! Index finger in donut hole, and thumb on outer rim of donut. No wax paper to grab the donuts!!! WT?! This will be my last visit to DD. BEWARE! So, what did I do with the donuts? I donated them to the homeless dude at the corner between McD's and Wells Fargo!! read more

General interactions with staff were pleasant, but the product was pretty 'meh'. This location has very rude and unprofessional employees. There is no customer service. After the initial greeting we sat at the drive through speaker for five minutes saying "hello" and waiting for a response to place our order. As the line behind us grew longer and longer we just pulled forward to let them know they weren't responding to take our order. The employees just completely ignored us and were repeating themselves like robots saying that they didn't believe us and we needed to get back in line. Very unprofessional. My first and last time to visit this DD. First off it was a Sunday Morning and had my kids pick out the donuts they wanted. I made it a dozen. I was not impressed with the limited selection. It was my first visit to a DD in 30 years. Get home and find that the donuts are all STALE, how can a donut shop have stale donuts on a Sunday morning? Worst of all my 7 year old with a sweet tooth refused to eat a donut after 1 bite. She spit it out and would not eat anymore. I found the donuts to be on par with what you could get at a grocery stores bakery, old and stale. Not sure if the donuts are made on site or shipped in, but by I would guess they are made out of the area and shipped in. I'll continue to frequent the other donut shop in the same parking lot. This establishment has a false advertisement from their General Manager. We received a welcome to a neighborhood letter fr GM Kim and says we have a free med drinks for parents and donuts for the kids. When we came group of 5 (2 adults & 3 kids)they gave only 1 drink & 1 donut for free...lol. I just told the cashier so your letter is not true then and she replied, "that's what our GM said, she's here right now". Wow...i don't care about the free food what i care about is the credibility of their GM about the letter. read more

Ahh I'm surprised how much I missed Dunkin Donuts after moving from NJ a couple months ago. When I found out they opened a location here I had to check it out. The food is about DD is the same as it is back in the east coast. The service however is a little hectic since it just opened. I came in around 1pm on a Monday and I have never seen so many DD Employees working at the same time. I hope they are all training and hope it is not going to be like that all the time as there were way too many employees behind the counter and in the drive thru in the kitchen. It's DD not In N Out. Anyway, food is decent. They have everything I need in a DD. Coffee is great and cheaper than Starbucks (as it should be). I wouldn't go inside if it is busy as there is not a lot of room to wait on line as well to sit down. This place accommodates more for the grab and go type of customer. Sucks that there's a mom and pop donut shop literally right in front of DD that's been there for 25 years but oh well I'm sure they'll be ok. read more

I ordered through the app and when I got there to pick it up, they didn't have what I ordered. I was told they only have one type of donut available, double chocolate. I asked them to cancel my order and refund my money, they said it could only be done through the app. There's no order canceling option on the app. I emailed their support for help but got nowhere. I travel to Boston regularly and compared to their dunkin's there, this tracy location is a disappointment. Do not order through the app for this location it's a scam. read more

I love this location. I drive past multiple coffee/donut shops everyday just to go here. I refuse to spend my money elsewhere. The two younger ladies that work here are absolutely amazing. Erica and her friend always offer new drinks and make them based on my past preferences. I really believe they take the time to get to know their regulars. I was so excited to try my first dunkin donuts donut. Usually when I enter a donut shop first thing in the morning, the store is perfumed with sugary goodness. Not here. The donuts are beautiful when you first look at them and they look delicious . Took a bite of my heart shaped jelly filled donut and it was "eh". I was so bummed. No way this is a fresh donut. I've been to this location multiple times since its opening in December. Half the visits were good but the last 3 times my orders were wrong. The occasion before today I ordered a bavarian creme filled and got a nothing filled. Ok, they sort of look the same, maybe someone forgot to fill it. Also, my coffee did not have vanilla in it (which I paid for and was noted on my receipt) This morning I come through the drive thru and ordered a chocolate frosted for my daughter and an iced latte for me. The coffee was correct but the donut wasn't. How hard is it to grab a chocolate frosted donut? The donut we received was boston creme filled. I looked in the bag, noticed it didn't have a hole, handed it back to the guy in the drive thru and told him it wasn't what I ordered. He turned to 2 other workers, they looked inside the bag and confirmed it was chocolate frosted and "it just didn't have a hole". SERIOUSLY? My daughter took one bite and the creme squirted out. She was so disappointed because THEY LIED to us. Money wasted. And I was already on the road and just didn't have time to go back to complain. UGH. They should stick to doughnuts! I got a bacon egg and cheese biscuit and it was gross! The bacon was a sad excuse of a string of bacon that was obviously microwaved and fake bacon... the biscuit was crunchy on one side and hard. My daughter loved her doughnut though.
