Donuts were better than expected but will not be back. Customer service is some of the worst I have seen.

So you would think DD was the best place in the world from my check in's here but my daughter loves there blueberry doughnuts. Which are decent when there fresh. So now that I've been here several times I can put my opinion in. When I first started going I used to get there hash browns, they put some seasoning on it that makes you want to eat more and I like the little round coin size bites BUT they always taste like there freezer burnt. They have a really terrible after taste. I've tried them on several occasions and only once have they tasted normal. Now there donuts are ok, I've tried a couple and not that much of a fan, I've had another doughnut place that is way better and taste so much fresher. I always do however get the same iced coffee that changes every single time i go there. I always have to repeat my order in drive thru a couple times and my coffee is never right. It's an iced coffee with cream and vanilla (not hard) and not one time has it tasted the same. Needed coffee yesterday and it's pretty cheap for a large iced coffee and after telling them several times and driving away, taking my first sip there was NO vanilla. So they get a 3 from me. Can't say there amazing, oh and they always forget to put napkins in the bag. read more

Every time I come to a DD they have NOTHING when it comes to the donut menu, which is the only reason I stop in. It'd be nice if the donut shop could carry some. Other than the fact that there's never any donuts available, the customer service is usually pretty good (unless they are lying about being out of some donuts which I feel happens once in a while), sometimes slow but are nice. I stop here for my coffee almost every morning on my way to work and maybe a donut or two. The service has always been so so (I can order the same thing every day and get charged a different amount depending on who's working) but the past few weeks have been horrendous. When I went thru the drive thru with my husband, apparently his Dodge Ram truck doesn't trigger their sensors. After sitting there for several minutes, then yelling hello, we pull around to learn this. Really?! Yesterday they couldn't figure out my order, and I paid, then watched my food and drink sit on the counter until the girl turns to me and says: did you pay? Uh yeah, I'm just waiting for my stuff, I say. Oh duh, she turns and grabs it and hands it to me. And today, after several minutes of waiting in the drive thru, I finally get my coffee and it's pretty much cold. Coffee stinks as if someone rubbed green peppers all over it and the bacon and egg bagel was soggy

I usually love Dunkin' Donuts but this location is a let down. I've come here twice, and had the same issues each time. All of the others I visit in Nevada as a truck driver have garlic or onion bagels, both times I've come here they tell me their discontinued. Not true since I had one yesterday in wells, nv. They also throw sauce on sandwiches with out even asking, a unusual setup compared to other locations. Just to top it off the plain bagel I had was super hard and the bacon not up too other locations standards. Doubt I'll be back a third time. read more

I recently visited Dunkin donuts the establishment did not have the full variety of don't as they usually do. They did not have the ingredients for all their sandwiches. Seriously and I was told that have more donuts in an hour, obviously not on there game for the day. read more

Ok so I decided to try and make this entire situation easy for everyone. I woke up on a Sunday morning and ordered online just so the employees would not feel rushed and maybe we would have half a chance of them getting my order correct since they have failed in person in the past. I ordered 8 total donuts. A latte, and 3 frozen chocolate drinks with whip cream. When I arrived 25 mins later my order was not ready. They tried to charge me and I explained I already paid online. Than they felt rushed throwing together my order. My latte was fine but my three frozen chocolate drinks had no whip cream. Four of my strawberry frosted with sprinkle donuts had no sprinkles at all and I was missing a donut. When I let the employee at the counter know she was rude and rushed me along. So needless to say I was charged for 8 donuts but only received 7 and 4 of which were incorrect anyway and three frozen drinks without whip cream. I think this will be the last trip I make to DD. Food is fine but the business is only as good as their staff. read more

We come here almost everyday and they have messed up 2-3 times but I thought they got better I can see when they are short on staff and hire new people but today we waiting in drive Thur for 10 mins they car in front of us was waiting on food but when it was are turn they had to ask us for are order again and we had to wait on Our bagel with cream cheese and when I got it for my son to feed him they did asshole move and put at least a half of quarter of cream cheese! Which is a big total Waze and it's for a child so they didn't have to do that they need to fire who several food duty wasting food you know putting to much stuff we're not even cooking it right for people to eat we pay your paychecks they need a new hiring manager in training system this is The worst Dunkin' Donuts the East Coast they have them everywhere and they're not as bad as here! Stopped in for a quick sugar rush before movies and shopping with the kids. They had a good selection of donuts. My son had a breakfast sandwich and said it was good. I had a vanilla creme donut and a caramel mochioto. The donut was tasty and the coffee was good. I had the donut eaten by the time I got my coffee so it turned into a coffee to go. I have been to several DD and this location is very typical for this donut chain. read more

I have to agree with all of the reviews that this place is WILDLY overrated. There was a line for the drive thru about six cars deep. Not sure why I have had better donuts from Dad's mini man on Sparks Blvd. They can't hold a candle to Dough Boys or Krispy Creme. Shannie, or Shannon, or something close to that I believe her name was, was working the register inside when we decided to try this place for the first time. This lady could not have been more rude. She had a bad attitude, and seemed extremely put out by anything we ordered. Her excuse for being so rude was, "I'm from the east coast". Very disappointed several times I've gone in early evening and they were completely out of donuts. Still had plenty of coffee! Every time I get there cream filled donuts there's no filling in them just a little dab in the edge of the donut. I have always loved the coffee and occasionally enjoy a donut at Dunkin. But, for some reason service is has generally been somewhat subpar. I couple years ago I had an awkward and uncomfortable experience at a Dunkin in Vegas. That did not happen at the location in Sparks. I ordered a large toasted almond coffee (my favorite) and a Bavarian crème donut and both were quite good. I was very pleasantly surprised by the service. They were really friendly. I have never seen that at Dunkin before and I really appreciated it. It seemed like all the workers actually enjoyed their jobs. The attitude was infectious. I only interacted with 2 employees (1 was named Leanne [I think] and the other I don't know. Sorry). They were great! read more

I've tried this location multiple times, hoping it would change, as i usually love Dunkin. However, all times I've been there to order my coffee, it's always trash. I gagged at my most recent order. The espresso was burnt and they put NO sweetener whatsoever. This isn't the first time, but it is the last. Finally decided to break down and try out the new Dunkin Donuts in Sparks. There has been a long line of cars and and an even longer line of people out the door since it opened...not today, I think that should have told me something. The newness is wearing off and people are obviously not impressed. The woman who took my order was pleasant, the donuts and coffee however were not. They tasted old and stale, and the coffee was as bad as your average gas station coffee. I also ordered a breakfast sandwich, the cashier recommended the pretzel bun, it was horrible. The egg in it was some sort of egg mush which tasted disgusting. Seriously I don't know how someone can screw up an egg, it tasted like powder. I might give it another shot in the future but its probably going to be a while. read more

Went in on a Tuesday night and purchased two doughnuts. The one I had which was the chocolate glazed reminded me of the exact taste and texture you receive from the Safeway bakery. I have heard these are not made fresh in the store throughout the day and you can tell. I don't see the hype here and prefer Doughboys and day over these. read more

I tried Dunkin Donuts many years ago while visiting DC. Either my taste has evolved or they just aren't as good as they used to be.Doughboys and Rounds have infinitely better donuts. The donuts here taste artificial and stale (are they made on site?), and the blended mocha I tried reminded me of a slurpee from 7/11. If you've ever tried a chocolate soda, imagine an icee/slurpee version of that - overly sweet and icey with not enough creaminess or any discernible coffee flavor. I also tried an english muffin breakfast sandwich with sausage. I wanted the pretzel bun sandwich which looked quite good from the picture, but they were out on their 2nd day of operation. My breakfast "sandwich" looked like someone dropped it and then haphazardly reassembled the pieces. The only thing worse than the presentation was the flavor which aside from a slight burnt english muffin essence tasted like pretty much nothing. I've had frozen grocery store sandwiches that tasted better. I'm not anti-chain per se, but the quality of chains that seem to come to our area don't excite me. Add this one to the list as another chain that might not make it through the next recession. Someone wake me when we have a Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf or a Krush Burger. read more

I know it's a new place, that could be a great business for the Sparks area, but they need to train their crew a little better. Everyone was moving slow, the managers were just standing and talking with each other not really helping their employees. I got the small chips ahoy coollatta unfortunately it was really watered down, my Boston creme donut was still doughy, my girlfriend got the jelly filled donut which was also doughy. I've been to the one in Vegas and I know they can do better. I'll give it a month before I go back and hopefully their crew is better trained. read more

First time I've ever tried Dunkin Donuts - they are pretty tasty, but the staff needs some serious help with training! We arrived at Dunkin around 11 am on a Sunday morning, and waited in line for an hour. Since the place just opened, we were expecting a long wait. An elderly lady stood outside manning the door, so that an even number of people entered and exited. She had an awesome spunky personality that made the long wait less painful. Once inside, we started thinking about what donuts to select and decided on these: chocolate French cruller, raspberry filled, pink frosted, oreo, and traditional chocolate bar. At the counter, an overly friendly and rather spastic tiny blond girl (who probably already drank 10 cups of coffee) asked for our order. I started reading off our selections, as she began typing them into the register. Apparently the young teen boy behind her was supposed to be packaging the donuts as she rang them up. Well...he couldn't even figure out how to get the paper bag open. She turned around and saw him struggling - provided an example of how to open the bag - and I had to repeat my entire order. He just stood there staring at the donuts before finally putting one in the bag. I slowly began repeating for the 3rd time, and she turned around again to point out the appropriate doughnuts to this poor bewildered boy. Adding to the confusion, the girl said "you've already got 5, why not just make it a dozen?" I politely declined, as that was way too many for 2 people. She began arguing that we should just buy a dozen because then one was free. No thanks. That would've taken an additional half hour anyways! Next I ordered the Chicken Salad Croissant, but they were out of croissants & I had to cancel. Also, I got a Mocha Chill, which was delicious, not overly sweet, and very refreshing. They almost had an over abundance of employees behind the counter - so many people running around that didn't have a clue what they were doing. It was a pretty chaotic situation, but I guess the flaws will be ironed out as training continues. The pink frosted donut was insanely sweet and had a funky fake strawberry taste, so we won't order that again. My favorite was the chocolate cruller, which had perfectly moist dough and fantastic frosting. I love that Dunkin doesn't fry the donuts, but bakes them instead. Oh and one more strike for Donut Boy... when we got home, we found that he put the pink frosted donut upside down on the chocolate bar, so it had become a choco-pinky gooey mess. I'll definitely go back again, but next time I'll use the drive through. read more

Disgusting is the best word that I can use of this stale donut shop. The counter help had the energy of speed addicts, far too friendly to give a rat's behind. The donuts that they had left at 10 am, which were few looked awful and they were also out of fresh bottled milk. The coffee that they served tasted like it was poured from a septic tank and the cup of milk that the managed to find for me was tainted. Now for the donuts, awful, just awful. I ordered a. chocolate bar which there was none so I settled with a maple bar that was heavy, hard, and stale. My friend ordered a vanilla creme filled donut that was not much larger than vanilla wafer with next to no creme inside. We each ate part of our donuts, a sip or two of the milk, then the remainder went into the garbage can. No we won't be back. I have had better donuts a the local Chevron station. read more

Two stars only because I like the coffee! The morning service is terrible!!! Day 1, I order an ex large coffee at the drive through. Once I get to the window, a 7 minute wait, I'm told, "we are brewing coffee and we don't have enough to fill your ex large but we'll give you a donut if you want to wait"....I'M ON MY WAY TO WORK, NO I CAN'T WAIT. I said that nicely and then told the guy to give me what he had, so there I went off to work with a medium but still paid for an ex large, sounds fair, right? I mean, literally paid for their inefficiency. Day 2. Today. Drove up to the drive through, I'm number 2, number 1 hasn't ordered. I wait, and wait. I wait 4 minutes, number 1 hasn't ordered. I reverse, walk in. I wait in line while the woman behind the counter movers at a snails pace to fill up a box of a dozen donuts for the guy in front of me..and I wait. I wait so long that, I have to throw in the towel and leave without ordering. On my way out, I see number one still in the same spot and still hasn't ordered yet. Over 12 minutes in line is not an effective way to run a business built on the fact that people stop in on their way to work. Bottom line, hire someone that cares, because the two workers the last two days don't. read more
