The chocolate fudge had chunks of chocolate, the sugar cookie tastes like Christmas in a cup, the pistachio was SO good and had actual pieces of pistachio in it, and the strawberry banana was perfection (not too sweet, just how my mom likes it)! The owner was also kind enough to send us off with some protein donuts, which were also surprisingly delicious! Protein donuts are usually thick and chonky because of the protein powder, but these donuts were so soft and chewy--almost mochi-like texture! I'm currently recovering from surgery and cannot eat solid foods, so this place is heaven sent. I will be back again very soon!!

The don't accept reservations, but you can put your name on the waitlist queue and they will text you a few minutes before to let you know that their table is available. I'd avoid going here on Valentine's Day as it was impossible to get off that waitlist! I've gone in the evening but their brunch menu is definitely better. Service is great and you can scan the QR code for their menu. For brunch, they have a lot of options from crêpes to omelettes. This place is not a BYOB but they have plenty of non-alcoholic drinks and mocktails on the menu. Decor is modern, airy, and of course - pink! They also have a separate café and pastry counter if you're just stopping in and want something quicker instead of sitting down. On our most recent visit, I had the Dubai chocolate pistachio crêpe, and it was really delicious, not too sweet or too rich. And I also had the strawberry Matcha, which I enjoyed. I think this is a great spot for a weekend date, girls brunch, or just an every day indulgence. Looking forward to my next visit.

I haven't tried too many cakes in the area so I can't truly compare to give it a full 5 star rating BUT the comments I hear a lot of is they use fresh fruit in their cakes. I usually get birthday cakes from Asian bakeries where fresh fruit is expected so that was an interesting comment to make from my POV. The fruit birthday cakes I've had from here are pretty good. Not too sweet and the most interesting fruit fillings I've had in cake - banana! Among other fruits. The cake isn't as light/airy as I'm used to but not bad at all. The buttercream is on the sweeter side for me but okay if you eat it with the cake and don't leave it until the end. It's not a terribly thick layer. But the cakes were super colorful and it's a lot of food coloring with how saturated the colors are. Your mouth and tongue will be stained if you're not careful. Having said that, I ordered an Oreo cake because that's why my kid wants. BUT I did request that instead of buttercream on the outside, it'll be whipped cream. Still buttercream on the inside though. I'll update this review after the party as it hasn't happened yet. This is a shop that sort of takes you back when you walk in. It's located in a corner shopping center of sorts and they have a shared parking lot so no need to hunt for parking. It has a nostalgic feel with display cases along much of the length, refrigerated sections for drinks (some were Asian which surprised me) and ice cream cake. Plus a wall of candles and birthday cake decorations because they do take a lot of orders for special occasions. No extra frills and nothing for decor's sake. There was a steady line when I went on Sunday morning. Two doors, one designed to be the entrance and the other the exit (but there isn't a police so use whichever door, but the line starts at the entrance door). As you walk up to the counter, someone will help you out. They've got all sorts of things from pastries to cookies, cakes, cupcakes, cannoli's, pies... even a tres leches section that was woefully empty. The only thing is for some odd reason, there are signs of what the items were, but absolutely no prices were posted in the display cases. At least none that I was aware of. I was passed onto the manager to take my order. It took a little time because I'm pretty sure she also decorates cakes and some people were waiting on them but I eventually got my order in. A 9" Oreo cake (for up to 16 people) with whipped cream exterior and birthday message is about $75. I added on a tres leches on a whim - they sold out early but a new batch just finished so I got one straight from the kitchen - was roughly $10. Receipts are old school, orders taken on a paper pad with a carbon copy given to you. I've had a number of tres leches cakes before and this is one of a kind! Deliciously moist, whipped topping - and the cake is halved. In between, they put fruit in there! Plus a maraschino cherry on top and cinnamon dusted over it. It was nowhere near "too sweet" and I rather enjoyed it. A lot. In fact, I'm thinking of calling in to see if I can get some for the party for the adults. My picky daughter loved it. Overall, I have a pretty good impression of this bakery and I'm looking to trying more items over time.

The other cookies and desserts are great, and the prices are very reasonable, but the cheesecake is what will keep me coming back. It's creamy and rich, not too sweet, nor too heavy, and available as a full cake or miniature servings. For years and years, my aunt and uncle always got cheesecake from here when I visited. Unfortunately, the pandemic forced us apart longer than anyone would've liked. I kept saying 'I wish I knew where they got the cheesecake.' Finally, I asked for the name and visited when I was in town. Wow! More than five years later, and the cheesecake was just as good as I remember. I also picked up a struffoli and some assorted cookies. Next time I'll try a hamantaschen, too. And, of course, the cheesecake will always be my go-to dessert here.
