Then came my turn for my cookies, I told her what I wanted and the girl proceeded to pick my cookies out, without changing her gloves. I ended up paying for the cookies because I didn't want to embarrass my friend, and when I got a chance I called the bakery and complained. It is nasty to handle food after handling money! It's disgusting and when I received a very nonchalant response from the bakery, I reached out on Instagram. The response there was that they were, too, disgusted and would be addressing this with that employee, and would refund the $16 I spent on the cookies. They never did and I will not go back. They may have really good cookies, but their hygiene policy sucks!
