We stopped by this location on a busy morning, and despite the rush, the service was outstanding! The staff was friendly and patient, but RJ, who was working the counter, truly stood out. He greeted every customer with a warm smile, cracked jokes and handled the long line well. His positive attitude and friendly demeanor made the experience even better. I used to be a hardcore Dunkin' fan till they opened a Starbucks a stones throw from my house, but this week I found myself at the beach with only Dunkin' to satisfy my coffee cravings. I was happy to find they offered almond and oat milk since I don't drink any dairy and overall was very pleasantly surprised with their service. Both times I went this week, the drive thru line went super fast and the young woman (same both days) working the window was so nice. a st pete's goldmine to say the least. we have every resort guest coming from every direction plus a drive thru going at full blast. boy i'd hate to be a local yocal just trying to get a cup o joe. anywho let me tell u about my sunday experience. after church my dear friend maggie and me went to get a coffee. maggie placed a mobile order from church between prayers. my sis behaved during service so i allowed her to get lil munchkins. maggie and i arrived to our coffees !(i get 12 splendas. i can only order 10 so i have to add 2 when i arrive. not a big deal but lil annoying. anyway NO MUNCHKINS TO BE FOUND. not a big deal. maggie told them and they said they were busy. ok so we were chatting about the homily and some church gossip. u know girl stuff. finally after 30 min maggie went up again. turns out they don't put the munchkins out for mobile orders bc people STEAL THEM. rly. i was shocked. thou shall not steal. ok so we ordered 50 munchkins and they gave us 100 for the misunderstanding. i forgave them and we brought them home to my sis who devoured them before her sunday nap (see pic). I am blown away! Typically my coffee is too sweet or my sandwich is falling apart but not with this location. I placed an Uber eats order today and I am so pleased with the service not just from my delivery person but with the performance of this specific location. I have never been here in person but now I need to check it out. My coffee was mixed perfectly. No sugar or flavoring at the bottom of my cup and it was not too sweet. It was perfect. I'm not overselling I'm just stating facts. (Large iced coffee, oat milk, mocha, sugar) My sandwich was so warm and crunchy! Really hit the spot before my busy day at work. (Bacon, egg plain bagel) What I was mostly satisfied with was the packaging. My order was sealed tightly and the bags were internally reinforced. Nothing was spilling or falling out of them I can guarantee it. With other locations I just get unsealed bags and drinks and that can be dangerous sometimes. Uncomfortable. I already don't know the person delivering my food what's not to say they didn't take a piece or slip something in. Anywho, spectacular job guys! Kudos to the manager of this location. Slowest fast food style spot I've ever been too. The manager of this location should be replaced along with all the staff. It's a great location to take in money but they lost 5 customers in the 25 minutes I waited in line to order! I ended up leaving bc I waited that long and still hade 2 groups of people ahead of me! We were visiting from out of town and talked to several locals that said they would never go there bc the service is so horrible- so this is apparently normal. read more

Simple as this, go to drive through, clarify everything about order and make sure they understand, get to window and pay. However, when we get to the window they hand us our coffees that of which we're all made incorrectly and tasted very poorly. As we sit for another five minutes they hand us or food and it is missing pretty much every ingredient. Two wake-up wraps, one didn't get egg and the other one didn't get egg or sausage, pretty much just a tortilla for breakfast, woohoo! The sausage egg and cheese croissant was a bacon egg croissant, which I can't eat bacon, so woohoo. The place may look nice, but it runs beyond poorly and I will most definitely not be returning. First and foremost; if you drive a vehicle with lower ground clearance, be very careful with this parking lot. The markings on the pavement would like you to enter ONLY from Gulf Blvd, and then you can only exit to Gulf Blvd if you've gone through the drive through, otherwise you're supposed to go out the back side to Gulf Winds Drive. The exit to Gulf Winds Drive is very steep; my wife's run of the mill Lexus sedan scrapes the under side of the trunk when leaving the parking lot! Trying to get in that opening, even though it's marked for exiting, will scratch the front. On the Gulf Blvd side, you have no official way to exit unless you've gone through the drive thru; you can go against the markings though if you want to avoid scraping your car and there isn't oncoming traffic. Anyway, this is great addition for St Pete Beach, opened late June 2015. There was really nowhere on the beach to go for early morning coffee on the way to work before this Dunkin', other than Mc Donalds of course, but who wants to drink Mc Donalds coffee... Dunkin' opens at 5am and is central to the north and south ends of the beach, so it's very convenient. If you drive a large vehicle, their drive-thru, which winds its way behind the building, is a little on the tight side, so large vehicles, or those with nice wheels, may be gambling. You should probably park and go inside instead. Besides the DD side of the house, it's also a Baskin Robbins ice cream shop. That part is not quite as exciting given the fact that there's about one ice cream shop per block on St Pete beach; Larry's, Scoops, Twistee Treat, D'Lites, etc. Personally I would, and will, continue going to Larry's for ice cream; it's a great family owned and run establishment just a few blocks away. They'll custom order things they don't have, they'll combine things to make something unusual, etc. They're the ice cream shop that really stands out on the beach. read more

Donuts rule I happened to be in the area yesterday evening with a little time to kill, and stopped into this Dunkin' Donuts. There was a couple ahead of me that was quite slow, which gave me plenty of time to watch their video loop of some of the items they had for sale. In addition to the Boston Crème and Glazed donuts I intended to get, the Coolata looked inviting. When it was my turn that's what I ordered and it was assembled fairly quickly. Even though it was evening the donuts were fresh and good. There were a nice treat that doesn't need to be morning to enjoy. The Coolata may be more of an acquired taste. Today I visited this place at 1pm for a scoop of ice cream. I was told by one of the two young people working that I couldn't buy ice cream until 4pm. And she wasn't polite about how she announced the ice cream shop hours which is operated under the same roof by the same staff using the same cash register to pay. She said, "There's an ice cream store down the road." Unbelievable! Ironically, had she taken the time to dish out a scoop of ice cream, likely I would have asked for a cappuccino and donuts to go. 2 great visit experiences during our stay in St Pete. Love that they are open early at 5am and love that there were 5 to 6 people working each day. We came here the first day and walked in, everything was great. It's in a good location because it's right across the street from the hotel. The second day we stoped at the drive through,we ordered and when we drove up to the window they forgot my donut, when I asked for it, they gave it to me with some attitude and 15 minutes later i opened the bag to find out that it was the wrong one. read more

When the coffee at your hotel isn't great and there is a DD across the street! Seriously, the place is perfectly fine for a DD. Consistent with any other I've been to around the country. We tried to go thru the drive thru and one of the girls told me it was closed so I went in. When I went in neither girl came in. I asked another customer that was in there with her grandson for ice cream and said she had been waiting 10 minutes for someone to help her.
