I've driven past Parlor Doughnuts several times and was always curious about the new downtown Largo location. I finally stopped in over the weekend, and I'll definitely be back! The doughnuts were incredible. I honestly wanted to try every flavor. I started with the French Toast and the Sandy Beach, and both were packed with amazing flavor. The rich cinnamon syrup and sweet glaze made them feel more like an indulgent dessert than a traditional breakfast doughnut--which I loved. I'm also really intrigued by the savory menu. The OG Pepperoni Pizza doughnut and the Chicken Bacon Ranch doughnut both sound like unique creations that I can't wait to try on my next visit. If my first experience is any indication, Parlor Doughnuts is going to become a regular stop for me. Writing this as an honest take. I went there for the Donut; immediately I liked the ambiance, clean and new, neat feel. I eyed the price and began making my selection. Can't recall which I chose but what makes each donut different from one another is only the icing. The donuts are all the same, and not your typical style, they are like fritters. Layered and a little fluffy. Nevertheless, they tasted good! We also ordered an iced coffee and it was very tasty as well. Good espresso. My only gripe and I find it to be everywhere is service. Proper time management. Order of operations. Understanding what needs to be done behind the counter to optimize. Multi tasking. There needs to be a comprehensive manager of proper age or tenure that can guide these kids. So one isn't standing around while the other does the work. It seems every coffee shop struggles with this, which means if they can figure out how to speed up service and optimize wait times and efficiency they will rise above the competition. The girls there were all nice, it's not a personality issue, it's a lack of guidance. The place is new etc. the faster you can work out the kinks the faster that line grows out the door. read more

We stopped by this morning and dove into a dozen of these. I did a dozen because I wanted to take a bite of 12 donuts in a day span. Don't judge. He had the Vanilla Carnival in which he had almost falling it which is a win. So far I've taken bites of the Bourbon Carmel and Blueberry Hill. So far so good. I can't wait to dig into the other flavors later today and tonight. I also ordered off the menu an iced americano which was ok. It was a super clean spot and I love all the seating. The staff were super friendly as well. We may come back with others but we'll see. There is plenty of parking in the area. read more

I am really excited that Parlor Donuts opened close to my home. It is such a beautiful donut shop with so many different delicious donuts in creative flavors. They even have savory donuts too which I found interesting. I tried the Churro donut and my daughter got the Strawberry Shortcake one. They were both amazing, and probably the best donuts that I have ever had. I can't wait to come back and try the donuts of the month, and experience the beautiful atmosphere again of the restaurant. OMGosh!!! These doughnuts (both sweet and savory) were delicious! My only suggestion/tip would be add a bit more of the buffalo sauce on the Buffalo Chicken savory doughnut! Couldn't taste it at all! But I'll be back, and this time will ask for more! But the sweet doughnuts were amazing! read more

Parlor donuts is a great concept and the donuts are great. We went in on the 4th of July to get some coffee in the morning. The place was packed and good to see. We were halfway through the line when one of the workers said if you didn't want donuts you could go to the other line for drinks. We moved over to that line. After a few minutes a worker came up and said they couldn't take our order because we got out of line. We told her the other worker told us to come to this line for just drinks. She asked who told us, we showed her and then her and another worker said that's not the way it's supposed to work so you need to get back in the other line. We reiterated that we were TOLD by their worker to move over. We asked if they were going to fix our drinks and they refused and walked away. They were obviously stressed and not happy to be working the holiday. I get it, but to refuse a customer service when you were instructed to move lines is pretty sorry. Again, this won't hurt their business as it's a great concept. Training won't help this situation either. These young ladies were not in a good mood and nothing was changing it. read more

Been to this place twice this week they don't even deserve a one star, their donuts, and the frosting and the coatings from the other donuts. Everything was mixed match. I have a peanut allergy and they have peanut butter donuts and I also have a coconut allergy and they have a coconut doughnut. It's fine that they have Cell those toppings with donuts, but the toppings don't need to be on the other donuts that don't include them even them putting them in separate boxes didn't really matter. Service was terrible. Food was terrible ambience well when you have terrible food. How can you have good ambience just don't go there if you have allergies cause it's gonna be ridiculous. read more

I love parlor donuts, but this location is genuinely a hot mess. I was happy to have one open up closer to me, and i have been 5 times now trying to give this specific location a chance, but i am greatly disappointed every time. I have visited while the store is completely dead, and i have been while it is crazy busy. Nothing is different. The customer service is absolutely horrendous, every single employee looks stoned out of their minds, or so miserable like they want to kill themselves. They are so, so rude, have zero knowledge of the items they are selling, and flat out don't care. Whom i believe is the manager is a younger blonde man, who isn't necessarily rude, but also couldn't give less of a shit of what is going on in that place. He, himself, handed me the stickiest, nastiest cup I've ever received when i got my coffee, didn't say a word to me, or even smile while handing it over. Granted this store is in a brand new building, and just recently opened, you would think it's clean, it is NOT. The lobby is disgusting, the bathroom is terrifyingly gross, piss and dust is gunked all up on the baseboards and the sink and toilet are the same. Donuts and coffee are always amazing, but it's hard to feel satisfied spending my money there when I'm treated like a second class citizen, and the place is gross. I thought i was being dramatic until I decided to take my mother here with me, and she had even more to say than i did. read more
