I have been ordering and picking up 2 to 4 dozen donuts every Thursday at 430am for more than a year now and I have never not one time been disappointed by the staff or their confectionery delights! Wish they offered meat options that did not include pork. I like their egg and cheese croissant. It was made to perfection with a little toast on the bread and it was flaky. Service was fast and quality good. Customer service was good. They have an option for tipping while paying. Donuts and bagels = mediocre Cleanliness of store and food prep= absolutely horrific Around 10am on a Sunday I visited this store and one part of my order was a bagel which took 20 minutes. If it didn't take so long I wouldn't have noticed the cross cantimination and lack of cleanliness when preparing food. The guy working wore the same gloves the whole time we were there. From preparing meat sandwiches, making bagels with out meat to going to the back and grabbing more supplies. Additonally, there was one knife that was used to cut the breakfast sandwiches, cut plain cream cheese bagels and OPEN the deli meat containers. The prep area was a mess with food everywhere and personal cups on the counter. All the eggs and meats are microwaved and don't look appealing. I've been a long time customer 15+ years of Frays Donuts. Honestly, I haven't been in over a year, stopped in early this morning- purchased 20 donut holes. They looked the same as always, but a little more limited options than in the years past, but no biggie. First bite.... these are stale! Seriously... these had to of been made a few days ago. How disappointing! Not the Frays that served fresh donuts every day and the place you wanted to get into first thing before they sold out of varieties. I had 4 different types of donut holes and each one was old except maybe the glazed. How sad.... please go back to the fresh donuts.... if we wanted stale , old donuts we would go to DD. This place was phenomenal! We were visiting the area for a girls weekend and a local friend recommended frays. The line was long but that's always a good thing. A man came to the car so we got to place our order ahead of reaching the window. He didn't write down the big order of 8 ladies filled with breakfast sandwiches, coffees, and donuts. We all were nervous bc it was a HUGE order and this man remembered every single item !! I asked for his name and it was Chance. Chance was Amazing! Not only did he take our huge order by memory he also helped make the coffee and put our order together. Frays is a local gem. My grandpa would take me when I was little and this is still one of my favorite breakfast spots! The place is a little small on the inside but they also have a drive through.
