This is my go-to location if I need a quick coffee or food stop on the way to work downtown. It can be a real problem in the morning when they get extremely busy and the drive thru line is extending out onto busy Route 51, so I sometimes wait to assess the situation before deciding whether to stop instead of placing an order on the app in advance. Any complaints I have are the fault of Dunkin corporate and not this location. For example, I'm still complaining a couple years later about them getting rid of the multigrain breakfast sandwich with veggie egg white, leaving the only breakfast sandwich option as a fried egg I don't really like or want. But I have always found the employees to be helpful at this location and my orders have nearly always been correct. Not sure what else you could want from a Dunkin. read more

Stopped going here for months because of messed up orders and poor service. Gave it another try this morning, same results. Kept it simple ordered two coffees, one with sweetener only and another with cream only. Instead got both filled with creamer and one with Caramel Swirl liquid in it. I don't even understand how Carmel got into the equation but I'm not surprised. Poured it out because it was undrinkable and gross and found the bottom of the cup full of coffee grinds. Usually Dunkin has very tasty products and friendly and dependable service. This is not the case at this location. Staff were whispering and talking about each other while I was trying to place my order. The staff member got my order wrong three times including my donut choice and coffee flavor. Went here many times. Usually very good service (: The other day, (Saturday 3/21/2020 @ approximately 2:30pm), my boyfriend & I got the same thing we always do... 2 large blueberry crisp iced latte with light ice & whipped cream, and my son got a frozen chocolate. The blueberry crisp lattes were extra creamy.. and was flavorless. We mentioned this to the employee and asked if we could have blueberry & caramel added. He said it tasted strange because we got less ice and that messes up the way it is made. I told him I get these exact drinks often and have rarely had a problem. (Other locations have made the drinks incorrectly occasionally). They gave us back the drinks but forgot to give us the frozen chocolate. I went back to get it and the employees all seemed pretty friendly. The frozen chocolate was made correctly but the blueberry crisps still tasted bland. read more

You guys know I love me some Dunkin Donuts Coffee. SO the product is solid. The service at this location....eh. So I buy a travel mug (From this location) a few weeks back. It overflows when you screw the lid on. So don't fill it up so high right? Well I explain this e-v-e-r-y-t-I-m-e I drive through...."it overflows easily so leave room". So yesterday I tell the lady that and she hands me the coffee as it is spliing from the sides all over my car and me....oh and she's got tons of napkins too. She says "you need a new mug". I said, "no the mug is fine, you need to listen and not fill it up so much.." She said, no you need a new mug. This is by far the worst Duncan in Pittsburgh. I stop several times a week and the service has declined immensely. Tonight they "accidentally" added coffee to all 3 of my iced teas. Do yourself a favor and take the ride further down 51 to the new duncan or up to the Carrick shopping center. I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

What a joke, the employees were rude and when I was ordering, he ignored half the things I asked for. So this caused for it to take forever over apple juice, coffee & donuts. Then when I get my 'latte' it was basically all milk, even after ordering an extra espresso shot. So that was the last straw for me. I frequented this DD as it's near my home. Usually busy, since it's right off of 51. Sometimes the line's so long that you have to pass on by because your other option would be to cause more traffic on 51. Most of the time they mess up my order. Literally, 75%+ my order is not what I asked for. I have to actually request light cream and light ice because my coffees come out mostly tasting like creamer and looking like a vanilla milkshake. is one of the worse DD sites in Pittsburgh, in my experience. A few months back, I ordered a cold brew, and was about 0.5 miles down 51 before I tried it, realizing it a) was not a cold brew (too weak) and b) there was waaaay too much cream. I turned around and requested another coffee, which they were hesitant, but did. It was only slightly better, and I'm actually skeptical if they gave me iced coffee vs their cold brew, based on how weak it was. I finally just stopped going here. read more

I visit here everyday. I go through drive thru. Tonight no one answered when all the lights were on. This is typical of this place! They've screwed up my simple coffee order so frequently that I've switched to just the carrick location. I don't like leaving bad reviews but I feel like this needed to be said. Dunkin Donuts is a phenomenal business. I love the majority of their selection. I've gone to this specific location several times. Rather I get my usual order, or I decide to switch it up, they manage to not get my order correct. I've asked for sandwiches with specific orders and they are incorrect almost every time. I've asked for specific donuts and they either don't have them or choose to give me the wrong one without asking me. The drive through is convenient and quick but if you choose to walk in it seems as though it is a burden to them to take your order. I've been to locations far busier and they are quicker, the food turns out better, and my order is actually correct. Completely dissatisfied with the service and I will not be going back. read more

Tried a couple mornings and at 5:10 still not open when open at 5:00. Or if you do go in no since of being quick when only one in store and no they are all worried about drive thru. I go to this Dunkin for my morning coffee literally every single morning- because it's 5 seconds from my house. The woman who is always working the window is always very nice, but recently the 'manager' I guess started arguing with me about ordering an iced Americano because he says "that's a Starbucks thing" - it's not. it's a coffee thing. It's EASIER to make it iced and it makes no sense why you can't do it. I literally just left there after ordering two iced coffees with a shot of espresso. I used to work at a coffee shop and today when I saw what they handed me it's easy to tell they put the iced coffee in the cup, then ice, then just poured the extra shot on top, melting all of the ice and making me regret wasting my money on this coffee this morning. read more

The doughnuts are good, when they have them...but do not go through the drive through... their drive thru is slow, you get the wrong coffee order (many times), or they take your order...you wait the 15 minutes in line...and then they tell you that they don't have something. I have been burned from this place too many times... and i have heard from friends that others in the work day mornings have had similar experiences. If it continues, this place will be closed within a couple years. read more
