I love cannoli's in general, but let's face it the worst part is the hard shell, well Sweet Ally's takes care of that for you, putting it inside a delicious donut! Reasonable pricing too! I may or may not be a little obsessed but they are so good! For weeks I keep meaning to take a picture, but I never remember before devouring them! They only make them on Sundays, but if it is a different day, stop by and enjoy their other selection of donuts, baked goods and candy. This time of year is the perfect time to visit, as right behind them Oakfield has a wonderful Christmas light up Wonderland, and across the street they have 100 decorated Christmas trees! Make it a day trip out to Sweet Ally's you won't be disappointed!

If you can get past the bad service, I'd recommend the apple fritters, they were good. Also the chocolate frosting with white cream was good and worth the calories. Just don't call it "Angel cream" or the owner will remind you that "only Paula's calls it that."

Paula's Donuts helped heal me after surgery - seriously. But first, a few words about the best…read moredonuts in the United States. I feel confident that statement is true. These are not featherweight, boring, drive thru chain donuts that never fail to disappoint. The box says they are "made with love" and while I certainly hope the bakers and makers are not oozing affection for the creations as they do their job (because that would get weird right?), the recipes and standards of ultra high quality that this unique WNY establishment has sure shows a respect and appreciation for their customers. The dough is light and never greasy tasting. The cream fillings are also fluffy and airy and melt in your mouth. Jellies are all top notch and let me be clear, the donuts are packed full with whatever is inside. Or on top. The headlights are incredible. Peanut butter offerings (several to choose from) are stellar. I'm not sure if the chocolate icing is a ganache but it seems much more like a ganache than the lousy, dried out icing you might find at places we need not mention. Staff are always courteous, polite and fast. I think each donut is going for about $2.30 but well worth it for the size and quality. A box of 3 is heavy to hold. You get a lot of donut for your buck. I've been on a Paula's kick for a couple months, stopping in when appropriate for my donut desires but trying to be mindful of my waistline. I like to sit down and really enjoy every bite. These are not ordinary donuts, they are an experience to savor. But how do Paula's donuts help one recover from surgery? It's about what you might do with them. My friend picked me up and brought me home after the hospital and slyly produced a bag of donuts for me, which I sat down and ate the minute I walked in the door. The unexpected gesture of something I've been enjoying a lot lately certainly took my mind off any discomfort. Nice friend, right? Part of recovery is having supportive friends and family and I'm glad I've got that. And I'm glad I also got a bag of donuts to make a "rough day" a lot better. So, Paula's people - I haven't tried them all yet so I guess I'm going to have to return. (Image is different donuts from a different day.)

The breakfast sandwich I chose was the bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel. It was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing! The only thing I managed to get a picture of was the cannoli donut, and holy cannoli was it delicious! We did an online order and he had to wait a bit to get everything because they were so busy, but it wasn't a bad wait at all!

Stumbled upon this place after driving past here! It was on Easter day, so the store was closed but…read moredecided to come back the next day. Upon walking in, the store looked like a standard "hole-in-the wall" place and had a simple selection of donuts to choose from. If you want to use a credit card, you have to spend at least $5. Donuts: I got the classic glazed donut, peanut donut, red velvet, and a cream filled donut. The glazed donut was soft and delicious. The peanut donut was more on the crumbly side but still great flavour. The red velvet had a nice cream cheese icing. The cream filled donut had a typical white cream filling. Personally, I liked the glazed donut the best - great texture and wasn't too overly sweet. The pricing here is amazing - $1.50 for great quality donuts! Easy to park on the street. There's no seating inside, so it's more of a takeout place. They also sell lottery tickets alongside donuts. It is certainly worth the visit along the way coming from Toronto.

I was unable to find a large amount of the color scheme but Famous were gracious enough to try and accommodate our needs. The pricing was extremely fair and the donuts were ready as soon as I walked in the door. These are THE FRESHEST, MOST AIRY AND DELICIOUS DONUTS EVER! I suggest that you get here by plane, train or automobile ASAP!

Luckily for me, the next day we all wanted some donuts for breakfast. This location was close to home and when I arrived, the line had just gotten really short. I was able to walk right up and order the donuts with no issues. I was in and out the door with my order in seconds it felt like. I will say that these donuts are the best in WNY and maybe anywhere. You don't need donuts from a giant chain when these are 10x better! This spot seems nice and cozy with the tables and booths too so I will have to go back and take my time someday.

I love that there is one close to where my parents live (and also located in the convenient area of the Southgate Plaza). Plenty of parking right in front of the store and easy to get into and out of. They are almost always busy, so expect at least a little bit of a wait. They have a large selection and variety of donuts and they are fresh and sizeable. They also have other treats like cinnamon rolls and bagels. There is also a separate check out for things like smoothies (and they have a wide variety of those as well). The inside is bright, festive and clean. There are also several photo opps if that is your thing. They are more pricey than other options (like the bakery in Market in the Square right next door) but you do get quality ingredients and it makes a difference in the taste. Highly recommend a visit here if you love donuts.
