If you are hoping to get your orders quick by using order on the go and come inside to pick up your order. I have bad news for you....it is pointless to order in advance because you still need to wait in a long line just like everyone else. It is quite unorganized there. Cashier will take your order, receive payment, grab your donuts, then make your drinks. There were 5 people ahead of me so imagine how long it would take especially when the customers don't know what they want yet. I am very upset that my order was placed 45 mins before coming to the store and cashier had to prepare my 4 boxes of donuts and a drink when it was my turn. It took roughly 45 mins to get my order. I definitely will not make a stop there anymore. The store is just poorly managed. I would give negative stars! read more

i dont undertand why it takes 7 or 8 calls for them to answer the phone. they are not busy EVER. and they dont care if their donughts are fresh or not. They never have choclate donught holes and on the rare occasion they do ,they are stale and gross. Im so confused as to how this place is still open. its always the worst service. they dont even meet the bare minimum much less to think to go above and beyond. They never have whats on the menu . Dunkin' is my favourite coffee and donut stop in Metairie. The coffee is always hot and fresh as well as the donuts are always tasty. And the holes called "Munchkins". Many varieties are available including the basic plain glazed. This location is bigger and better than the old location almost across Veterans from the new one. Plenty of sockets to charge your phone or plug in a laptop and work or study. Location is average to quiet to enjoy. Staff is awesome and amazing. I've visited this location numerous times, but Monday was my last! It was raining this morning and I had my windshield wipers on. When I approached the drive thru window the older man at the window said something with his drive thru window partly closed. I noticed he was also pointing and he looked upset so I looked towards where I thought he was pointing and I asked him to repeat himself. He repeated himself but I still didn't understand him. Again he had his window half closed and he had an accent. Just then a young lady inside stood next to him & open the window and clarified that he was telling me to turn off my wipers. I said oh I'm sorry I didn't understand..then the man said rudely what do you mean you didn't understand?! Well that pissed me off because there was no need for him to get upset with me. If someone doesn't understand you be patient as your customer is being with you. Because of his angry demeanor and attitude in his voice I told them to keep the order and I called him an a-hole.The way he acted made me okay with driving right next door to Starbucks. Growing up in Canada, we had a Tim Hortons on every corner of every street. Kind of like Starbucks today, but with cheap coffee, donuts, etc. Essentially, Dunkin Donuts is the same thing, and something that was lacking in New Orleans. Sometimes, all I want is a drive thru window and a $1.50 huge cup of coffee. No frills, no $5 latte, just a coffee. Dunkin makes good on this, and the coffee isn't bad. They do have "fancier" drinks if you are in the mood, but their niche in the market is quick & cheap coffee. For that, they deserve all 4 stars that I'm giving them. read more

This place is insanely bad. It's mind boggling. Ordered a dark roast iced coffee and was given a cup of milk. They are always out of everything. The service is rude and slow. The drive through speaker is broken and sounds like a robot is depressed and doesn't want to live but has to come to this job every day so he can feed his pet robot cat because inflation is real. I am so confused by how this place stays open. I really think the owners should re-evaluate their life dream. One day they should just walk out in a blaze of glory and never return. This place was absolutely gross! There were no donuts in any of the display racks, just a picture on the counter of what they had available which was not much. Donuts were brought from the back of the store and were not fresh at all. We ordered some has browns as well, and they were soggy and tasted like old grease and we could not eat them! I will never go back to this location. I understand the selection being limited do to COVId restrictions, but they could have at least had the donuts in the display racks. I'm not normally one to write reviews, but the transaction I had this morning was unacceptable. I tried to order through the app to get my free coffee for national coffee day. For some reason after several tries the payment wouldn't go through. Ok that's clearly not the fault of this establishment. But after waiting in a pretty long line I get to the speaker to place my order. The woman taking the order was very rude. I had to repeat my order several times as she was yelling. I guess after repeating it numerous times I got flustered and shortened my flavor regular to "vanilla" instead of "sugar free vanilla." I get to the window and fry to scan the free coffee and that didn't work. So ok I'm paying for the coffee. Not a big deal though disappointing. When I get the first coffee I notice it says "French vanilla swirl." I tell the man at the window I wanted the no sugar vanilla. He tells the woman who immediately begins berating me for not specifically saying sugar free. I repeatedly apologized but she continued to yell and say I should have said sugar free. After both employees yelled at me several times the woman begrudgingly remakes my drink. She made it a medium instead of the large I ordered. I didn't say anything but when I got my second coffee I again said I wanted it to be sugar free. She got angry with me and again yelled at me. At this point I have already apologized numerous times and we had talked about the miscommunication with the previous drink. If I hadn't already paid for it I would have driven off without my order. I understand being frustrated that the product was wasted, but to berate a customer for a misunderstanding is unacceptable. Also, I would have assumed that ordering "vanilla" would not get me French vanilla. I have no idea how ANY Dunkin Donuts are still in business. The donuts are always cold, dry, half glazed and tasteless except for the thin coat of grease in my mouth. Each one I go to is the same. All across the country! This is a far cry from the quality and goodness that they were when I was growing up. This company needs a quick hard lesson in quality control and service as well. This place is horrible. Took 25 minutes to place the order because the employee was so slow, while we were waiting in line we noticed their were little gnats flying every where. Once we placed hour order it took another 10 mins for him to make the coffee and pumpkin spice latte. We had to clean off the table because they were all so filthy. We tried to enjoy the latte but the pumpkin spice latte was so sweet that we brought it back to find out the guy out 4 shots of the spice flavor instead of 1. Over all experience was terrible, the staff was slow, Doughnuts were stale, place was extremely dirty, trash cans were over flowing with bugs flying around them, coffee was watered down and the pumpkin spice was nasty. Hate to beat up on a new place, but this was a terrible experience. Long lines, slow disorganized service, little variety, and - the killer - bad donuts. The old DD was ten times better when it was open. These donuts always taste as though they were made the day before. Even when I got a hot glazed donut, it lacked the light airiness of a typical fresh donut. Do yourself a favor and head to Tastee on Clearview, Dorignacs down Vets, or Blue Dot on Canal. No issues at all today--only one person ahead of us on line. There was a rush after we were served and it was handled well. The donuts were fresh tasting, even at 3:00 in the afternoon. We love the increased space, the wi fi access, the comfy chairs (in all of the Dunkin' colors, including fun hot pink and orange), and the fact that they have high chairs (we have a toddler and that is always a plus). It was nice to sit and not feel like you were dining family style with the whole restaurant like at the old location. The new place is right next to the Starbucks, and as much as this gold card holder loves her Starbucks, it was no contest to choose Dunkin'. For anyone who goes to Starbucks, Panera, etc to study, give this location a chance--I spotted a good number of outlets and the price of admission is reasonable. The times I have been there the service has been great. There isn't much of a line. When it comes to cappuccino blast drinks the taste vary, by that I mean sometime they are too sweet and other times just right. I came here for the coffee and breakfast. The drive thru worker was very kind and patient being that it was my first visit and I wasn't too familiar with the menu. Pretty bad service. I was the only person waiting, and my presence want even acknowledged until about five minutes after walking in. This would have been understandable if they were busy, but I was the only person waiting, and there were only two people in the drive thru. Finally, after about eight minutes, I was helped. I ordered two donuts and a small iced coffee. It was given to me pretty quickly, I'll give them that. And there was nothing wrong with the order. Would have been nice had there been napkins in the napkin dispenser, but alas, I guess you can't have everything. All in all, not a good experience. I want to start off by saying I love Dunkin coffee and other menu items, but my experience every time is very poor. One of the time I went there I went through the drive through and ordered a vanilla bean coolada. After leaving, I tried it and they did not make it correct, it seemed like they put cinnamon or nutmeg blended in with it. I went again today to get my free iced coffee on Monday with a purchase of a food item. I knew it worked for my account because I get notifications through the app, plus I follow them on instagram and they said it works on all accounts. When I was at the window, they scanned my app and told me I could not get the free coffee and that I had to pay for both my items. They made the excuse that the offer only works with certain accounts, which I knew was a lie. I later tried my iced coffee that I had to pay for and they did not even get my order right. Very annoyed with this location and rather drive 15 minutes longer to try another Dunkin location that wont mess up on my order and give me the discounts I know I should receive. read more

For the last few months I have stopped here regularly on my way to work to pick up my morning coffee. I wouldn't review a coffee spot but I felt compelled because today I went there and as usual I was greeted with not only a friendly staff member but an enthusiastic one! He is not alone in it. The entire staff there is always happy. I wanted to give this review to give that staff some much deserved recognition. It is so refreshing to see people taking pride in their job and enjoying it. They all seem like they get along well too. I mean its Dunkin'... It's never going to be gourmet but its so nice that the staff is so good. My husband picked up this morning. My order of black coffee (even marked black on the cup) had cream and sugar. I'm usually a fan but this location adds way to much sugar, and so it went down the drain. My onion bagel with butter and cream cheese had cream cheese and butter, as in the butter was added on top of the cream cheese. Seriously??? This location is ruining Dunkin Donuts for me. read more
