I've come here several times, always through the drive through to get coffee, and the staff are always extremely pleasant and professional. Coffee has always been very good! Haven't had the delays that other people have mentioned, always get through quickly. I'm from NY, and moved here 5 years ago so I can finally resume by DD coffee addiction :) I wish they would bring back the reusable coffee cups that say Lake Forest - heard it was only a one time short term promotion. So I was up earlier this morning and decided to swing by and get the kids a treat before school. Got a half dozen donuts at 6 am. You'd think these would be fresh. These may have been fresh on Saturday. These were by far the most stale donuts I have ever gotten from a donut shop. Extremely disappointing from Dunkin. If it wasn't a bit of a drive back I'd take them back. They are literally hard at this point. read more

Having transplanted back from the East Coast, I love me some Dunkin Donuts. This location is conveniently located right in the El Toro and 5 Freeway mix. The drive-thru is now open. Everything is clean and new. Some great coffee here folks. The only feedback I would have is for the manager on the morning shift today. A really nice young employee helped me at the drive-thru window. He was so exceptionally polite and helpful when I was ordering my coffee and trying to decide the different flavors at the menu. When I get to the window to pay his manager was so rude the way she spoke to him and barked orders at him. She continually raised her voice at him for no reason asking him to repeat my order louder to her from across the way. And then rather than training him, made demands on what he needed to do. The way she was rudely speaking down to him and how loudly she was barking at him made me physically uncomfortable. How do you keep such nice employees in this sort of environment? Ick. read more

1st time trying dunkin donuts. Horrible experience. Took me 10 mins to get my drink and food through drive thru. I was the only car there. I order a ice Carmel macchiato and it tasted horrible. My boyfriend & I were craving some late night donuts this past Sunday (8/11/19), and we checked online and it said open until 10pm. This was perfect since it was about 9:30pm and we would make it there at about 9:45pm. Well we go there and when we pull up we notice all the lights are off... they were closed!!! We checked every website and everywhere it said that they close at 10pm and it was only 9:45pm! & they didn't just close. All of the lights were completely off and there were no employees inside, so they had been closed for a WHILE. I guess the employees had enough of their day and just decided to close early. Super frustrating because we had to drive even further to find a different donut place. All that being said, I won't be going to this Dunkin' ever again. Don't wanna risk no one being there at 2pm in the afternoon since apparently the employees like to do whatever they want & close whenever they want. I wonder how much business they lose from that because I guarantee we weren't the only ones trying to go there, especially since they closed waaaay before 10pm! read more

If I could give no stars, I would. This location is the worst I've been too. The saturday morning shift employees are lazy and just don't care. Yes, we had a large party with a large order, but with that size they should have made sure of the product going out. First off, the girl at the window looked annoyed before we started ordering. She missed two out of the seven sandwiches that were ordered, and she just kept insisting that she counted and placed the stickers on all seven, which was not the case. There were no stickers, and the her attitude was just horrible. She called her "manager" which I don't think was the manager and he proceeded to tell us multiple times that he just got there and wanted to physically see all of the sandwiches we received before he could give there other two that were missed. We repeated what was missing about ten times and got nowhere with anyone. Wasted time for 30 minutes. Horrible employees, horrible service, horrible experience. I come here often as this location is really close to my house by they disappoint every time.... be it order incorrect, missing item(s), stale/burnt coffee, or inept staffing. Today however was the final straw. After sitting in the drive through for 20 minutes just to place my order, come to find they're out of almond milk. At 8:15am. How in the world does that even happen? Being out of such a common staple of a morning/breakfast/coffee establishment is just inexcusable pisspoor management. I have given this location several chances now and am so disappointed. They never have the vanilla cream filled. The last time I stopped The young man told me they had some and I thought yay they finally have them, but I got home took my first bite and it was custard filled YUCK. Very poor customer service this morning, 2 other customers and I waited almost 10 minutes for you to even acknowledge us, even though you kept looking over at us multiple times. When you finally approached the window you didn't seem very pleased to have to stop what you where doing to assist us because hunched over put your crossed your arms and put the on the counter and hung you head down never even looking up to ask how you can help. At 7:07am you only had 4 options of donuts to choose from. What company has only 4 choices for there customers. Don't come here, poor service poor options. First impressions are always the most important. Service was horrible. Drive-they is so slow I sat in the drive-thru without moving for 7 minutes and finally decided to back out of the drive-thru. There was one car in front of me, waiting to order, and three cars in front of him. None of us moved that whole time. I thought maybe it would be faster at the window since there was no one waiting to order but, that was a mistake. The girl was a little rude and the place was a mess. The floor was wet and trash on the floor. An employee could have easily slipped. All I wanted was one strawberry donut. Should really take 30-seconds, not a total of 10 minutes of my time. read more

I placed an order on my app at 8:43am for two breakfast sandwiches. My husband and I got to the store at 9am... that's 20 minutes in between to prepare our food. My husband walks up to the window and our food is still not ready. You think 20 minutes is enough time for a mobile order. When we finally get our order it is 9:10am, my husbands sandwich is burnt, and mine is soggy. Who likes to eat soggy breakfast sandwiches? This is about the fourth time that has happened to us, and I have filled out the surveys online from the receipt every time but it looks like nothing is being done about the poor quality of the food that's served or the poor time management in that Dunkin' Donuts location. Can't forget about the hygiene. I've seen many times the girls preparing food are not wearing any gloves as they go from one counter touching the cash register, counter tops and other things, then handling eggs, bread, ham etc with their bare hands with no hand washing in between. read more

Normally, when I go to this location service is pretty good like it should be. I went yesterday when there was only one car in line and I asked for an extra cup and one straw and the girl rudely said that they are not allowed to do that. I could've paid for the cup if it was an issue but anywhere else an extra cup is not an issue. Then when I pulled up to the window about 5-7 minutes passed by before anyone even acknowledged me and I understand that there were only two employees working but they could've at least said it would be a minute before they could charge me or something. Then after waiting to be charged the girl still took another 3 minutes to give me the drink and the girl still didn't give me the extra cup so I then waited about another 5 minutes until the other employee got to the window and gave me the cup. I go to this location at least once a week and had never experienced such poor customer service. read more

Yesterday morning I drove through the drive thru where I waited approx 3 mins for someone to greet me. There was a paper covering the voice monitor that said "no milk" - finally when a girls voice greeted me, I asked for a latte. She said there was only almond milk. I said "you're not charging extra for almond milk, correct? Since you're out of milk" she said "you're being charged extra per my manager" - she was very rude, had an awful attitude stating her name was Kenya. I told her I wanted to speak to her manager and she said her manager was not there. I got up to the window and she slammed the window shut and walked away. The car in front of me literally had a yelling match with Kenya also stating how awful her service was and how rude she was. She should not be employed with an awful attitude like she was giving yesterday, especially not being supervised by a manger. I will NEVER return to this DD ever again. I will continue to pay extra down the road at Starbucks because their employees knows customer service and know how to treat their paying customers. read more

I am a huge fan of DD's. I moved to Lake Forest from Massachusetts so over there DD's is a must have morning stop. I was so excited to have a piece of home in my new city in California. The coffee is exactly the taste I remember... however the food... I just expect the worst now. I try to play it safe & get a choc. glazed donut because you can't mess that up.. the bagels taste processed.. the sandwiches are always soggy... At this point I give up ordering the food & sticking with the coffee. There is a place across the street by the home depot called Bagel Shack... better choice for food. sorry DD! read more

I haven't t had a Boston creme donut since my trip to Boston so I thought I would try the new Lake Forest dunkin. What a disappointment. Two donuts dumped into a bag, a strange off taste to the donut, tasted stale and very little creme to the donut. I won't be back. Will try the donut shop on Lake Forest and Muirlands that's been there for years. I will say the young girl who helped me was very nice although it did seem slow service. I'm a north easterner raised off Dunkin' Donuts, and worked there for a whole year as my first job. I'm a fan of Dunkin and I know how their operation works. Idk who the manager or franchisee is of this Dunkin but they are by far the worst Dunkin I've visited in my entire life. Starbucks is faster than this place. The point of Dunkin is to be fast and low cost, for good quality. This Dunkin does not represent the brand. It took 20 mins to get 5 donut holes, 1 donut, and three coffees with one person ahead. People in front of us where waiting longer for single items! What is going on here, and when you ask the staff they just keep saying they are working on it, but you can see they are not. It looked like people were bouncing from place to place rather than having an organized assembly line. No one knew what was going on and the shift leader was worse than the rest of the staff. This franchise and manager need to train the staff better or this Dunkin' Donuts will not do well. Great walk up concept but terrible service. read more

If i could rate this place a zero i would! There was a guy not wearing gloves preparing my food after he took my card and took orders from 2 more customers.i watched him from the pickup window not wash his hands and just start preparing food.i called another location and asked if dunkin employees are supposed to wear gloves when preparing food and was told yes! I decided to find out if it was the manager of the store that did it because he was wearing a gray shirt. I did some detective work to find out his name is Rakesh!Thats how contamination and illnesses happen. What if 1 of the customers or myself had flu virus germs or another contagious illness on our hands, cards or money? It wouldve spread from him not washing his hands and wearing gloves! He couldve caused people to get very sick or even die. People die from the flu every year! Dont go to this place!
