Super rude employee, one with colored hair. She doesn't speak to you while giving you your food. Food was very burnt. Playing loud music.

Stale donuts again :-( it is clear they are not making them on-site here like they do on the East coast. Taste terrible.

And the coffee -- the most important part -- was genuinely excellent. I ordered a flat white, and it was one of the best I've had in the States. Unfortunately, the service was a letdown. It wasn't slow (I was the only customer at the counter), but the basic courtesy and warmth you'd expect at a coffee shop were completely missing. I greeted the barista cheerfully and tried to be friendly, but you would have thought I'd offended her personally. I get that everyone has off days -- maybe I reminded her of someone she didn't like -- but the customer who came in right after me was greeted with a warm smile and a cheerful "Good morning! The usual?" My thank-yous, on the other hand, were met with grunts and glares. All in all, it wasn't the best introduction to Reborn or the most pleasant way to start my day.

The espresso was rich with plenty of body and the coconut was flavorful without being overly sweet. A nice touch: they didn't cover the drink at pickup, so I could actually see the quality (and that great foam) immediately. The shop itself is clean, welcoming, and has ample seating for actually sitting down to enjoy your coffee. Plus, the staff was very friendly and made the visit a breeze. Definitely a great experience.

Loved meeting the owner! Her energy is contagious. She's super friendly, funny, and genuinely makes everyone feel welcome and taken care of. You walk in and leave smiling. We don't have much south of Irvine so we have to settle for Ding Tea / Krak / Presotea / Boba Bee and various others so was excited to try something new and independent, but was the worst place I've had in a while. Both Oolong milk tea and Matcha Hokkaido were way too sweet and creamy despite asking for half sweet where oolong and matcha taste was barely present and overpowered by the other ingredients. The boba was very firm, barely had chew and has been sitting out. It's tough being an only worker running the shop and he was doing his best to not have people wait too long for their drinks and ordering so I'm sure that had an effect. The plus is that they offer milk alternatives for free so giving a star for that!

We moved walking distance and have heard amazing things about this cafe, so we wanted to know what…read morethe hype was about. We get it now!! From the start, you're welcomed with the fresh scent of baked bread, fresh pastries, and coffee. I ordered the Ronnie on rye and my husband ordered the eggs Benedict. We also ordered a half sweet vanilla latte and a caramel macchiato. Everything was delicious! My sandwich was, honestly, heaven. It was such a delicious twist on a breakfast item to have a hot pastrami sandwich with egg, cheese, hash brown, and extra Dijon. Being pregnant, this was perfect. I tried my husband's eggs Benedict and it was delicious, as well. The bun was so soft and fluffy and created a great base for the dish. Finally, the coffees were nicely balanced and my half sweet vanilla latte had just the right amount of flavor. This cafe is bustling for good reason! Almost every table was full and there were plenty of people inside ready for to-go orders. But, it didn't feel overwhelming and remained welcoming. There's plenty of seating outside so dont be deterred! All of the staff were working hard and were very polite. Can't wait to go back!

I looked at the menu and was immediately caught by the island latte that has macadamia nut and coconut syrup. It totally reminds me of being on the island of Hawaii. I am so happy I came and ordered the island latte iced. It was perfectly sweet and it reminded me of being in Hawaii. Too bad it was not closer to home but if I am ever in the area again, I will definitely stop by and try other items too. Parking is plenty but beware there is a Tesla charging station before it. The service was to the point and no fuss.

Most seating is indoors with a couple of outdoor tables too. I ordered a hot Spanish latte plus chose a blueberry jam muffin from the pastry case. And a Campfire Cookie as a bonus. The place was fairly full but I found a seat at a counter. The Spanish latte was superb with smooth coffee and cinnamon flavors that blended for a perfectly balanced profile. I appreciated it was at an immediately drinkable temperature. The muffin was really, really good. Really. It was moist, fresh, and full of blueberries and a layer of blueberry jam. The big cookie was quite good, although in all honesty I've had better in this genre. I didn't stay long as there was some annoying guy who'd set up office at a table with his AirPods firmly inserted and loudly giving legal advice in an obnoxious manner that is typical of ambulance-chaser lawyers. Why do coffee shops put up with this?
