Picture says it all. They obviously don't care about what they give you. My croissant stuffer...burnt! And I also ordered matcha ice latte, that drink was watered down! DO BETTER!

Whenever I come to this store whether it's day or night they never have what I want. From munchkins to donuts, sooooo disappointed.

The morning crew is the worst to include the shift supervisor. They are very rude and could care less about providing good customer service.

Move over Dominique Ansel, Freddy Donuts got you beat at the cronut game. Being from New York the…read morecronut is a staple- Freddy's got them beat in every way- the cronut itself is super light and crisp. The flakey buttery layers is heaven. The size of the cronut is huge compared to the Dominique Ansel one. Freddy's is the size of your hand where the other is a quarter size smaller. The cronut at Freddy's is also cheaper going at $4.25 versus $7.75 at Dominique Ansel. They come in glaze drizzle, chocolate and vanilla drizzle, maple drizzle and French toast. Cronuts not available or don't feel like a big cronut...ask if they have the cronut bites. They come in a set of three and you can get either glaze drizzle or cinnamon sugar. The size of their classic and specialty donuts are huge. We are talking easily can be sharable (if you want to). Currently the pricing of their donuts are: $1.95 house/ $2.75 specialty/$2.75 cake/ $3.25 monster filled. They have quite the creative list of flavors. No gluten free options though. Their donuts are light and flavorful. It's not overly sweet at all and well balanced. By their size you get your bang for your buck. If you want to get your choosing of flavors, it's better to go at the start of the day. Later in the day you chance that they could be sold out on flavors - especially if they are busy that day. The donuts are packed in whimsical boxes that are colorful and say "You Deserve A Donut." They also have drinks for purchase but we didn't grab any- maybe next time. On the wall they also have cute donut themed shirts with popular cartoons and characters like Bluey, Pikachu and Deadpool. There is limited parking around the shop. Otherwise plenty of street parking. We took our donuts to go but you can also dine there in front of the store where they have picnic tables. The building looks like it might have been a service gas station in the past. It's decorated with a snake mural and they also have neat drawings inside on their chalkboard menu. We will definitely be back since we have friends that live in the next town over who are also huge fan. 100% recommend this sweet place.

Their version was nicely glazed if not as flaky layered as other places. I even brought some back to my hubby in Atlanta and he enjoyed his VA treats too. Stop by and support the local businesses!

Was I serious? Absolutely! Menopause will do that! The glazed cronuts? Equally dangerous. I bought a dozen to share and somehow made it home with three and a story that started with, "They must have shorted me." Amazing staff. Incredible doughnuts. This is one of Lorton's hidden gems. But let me give you one piece of advice: Get there EARLY. Nothing hurts more than walking in with your heart set on an apple fritter, only to watch the person in front of you buy the last one. Baby, that's the kind of disappointment you think about all day. Buy extras. Trust me. These doughnuts will have you saying things you don't mean and protecting your box like it's family heirlooms. Long story short: WORTH THE CALORIES

They provided suggestions, but my heart (and belly) needed a chocolate frosted and buttermilk donut. The latter was delicious, the chocolate frosted was a little dry. I didn't realize until after the fact that they carried Lavazza coffee. I'll have to try it next time! I think it's safe to say I pretty much finished the first donut before I even left the store! There's plenty in parking available, shared by neighboring stores. Would I return? If I am in the area? Yes!

Their menu offers mini donuts (can order them by half a dozen, dozen, or in a bucket) and Shakeups (which are beverages where you can choose your puree and syrup flavors). For the donuts, you first choose your sugar (powdered sugar, cinnamon and sugar, cookies and cream, salted caramel, apple cider, or pumpkin spice), then your choice of drizzle (vanilla, chocolate, maple, caramel, strawberry, blueberry, pumpkin, or peanut butter), and add any additional toppings (Reese's Pieces, Reese's Cup, Snickers, Twix, Butterfinger, Oreos, peanuts, bacon, or chocolate/rainbow sprinkles).
