I miss it when they used to be bigger pieces on a stick, but this is a fun alternative where more people can take bites and share! I have never been so disappointed with a local business, especially being born and raised here…read more I've been trying all week to buy poi balls. Before today, I had already stopped by 2-3 different times, but each time I left empty handed. Today, I finally made it there again, waited in line, and there was only one customer ahead of me. The employee, an older woman, didn't acknowledge me while helping the other customer, which I understood, so I waited patiently for about 5-8 minutes. What was especially frustrating is that while I was standing there waiting, it would have been nice if she had simply let me know they were only accepting cash that day. That would have saved me from waiting in line only to find out when it was finally my turn. Even a simple sign posted at the counter would have made a huge difference. It just felt like there was a lack of basic customer courtesy and communication. When it was finally my turn to order, I was told their system was down and they were only accepting cash. At that point I was already frustrated because I had parked far away. I asked where the nearest ATM was, and she vaguely said it was "somewhere in the food court" without giving clear directions. I ended up wandering around looking for an ATM, and by then I was so overwhelmed and frustrated that I just left. I tried calling several times throughout the day, but no one ever answered the phone. After a few hours, I decided to give them one more chance, even though it's out of the way for me. I called again with no answer, but I figured she might have been the only employee working and too busy to answer. When I arrived, they were sold out. After spending an entire week trying to purchase something as simple as poi balls, making multiple trips, waiting in line, searching for an ATM, and never being able to reach anyone by phone, I'm extremely disappointed. Better communication, answering the phone, posting when you're cash only, or updating customers when items are sold out would have saved me a lot of time and frustration. Unfortunately, this experience has convinced me not to return, and I can't recommend this business based on the service I received.

I wasn't able to book it directly through their site but if you call in sometimes they have additional availability that isn't bookable online. There are so many options here. The best part for me is the poke bar. The fish is so fresh. Although i'd skip the oysters and crab legs as the crab legs were tooo salty and the oysters weren't very sweet. The lobster however was great! The view from the restaurant is of the pool so it could be a bit loud but aren't all buffets? Included with the dining is a parking validation for 4 hours. You can walk around the beach area after which is nice !

The GOOD: unlimited steamed lobster, snow crab, fresh poke, oysters, decent service, and lovely live music. The BAD/AVERAGE: - We were told that some of their ceiling fans weren't working so it gets pretty hot if you're seated by the pool/live music area. Our table also rocked back and forth throughout the meal. It's starting to feel outdated. -There were flies around some of food -The prime rib was the driest/overcooked I've ever had at a buffet, and the lechon was mostly dry as well with some parts were hard crispy. -Compared to previous visits, there was no sashimi station or steamed dim sum, which was a huge disappointment, especially since they had already done away with the pan-grilled lobster. -For the cooked/hot dishes, there were egg foo yung, stir fried veggies, one chicken dish, one lamb dish, and noe pasta. Also were average taste, and just very limited options compared to other brunch/lunch buffets! -There was also a whole cooked fish sitting on the opposite side of the buffet, away from the seafood station, with no label at all. It was completely untouched the entire time we were there, which honestly said a lot. -The ramen bar is a cool concept, but the broths don't taste good and had odd topping choices. -The dessert selection felt limited, and the vanilla ice cream had a strange texture that fell apart instead of being creamy. What frustrates us the most is that the price continues to increase (3-4 times), yet nothing really stood out or added to justify it. If anything, it feels like there are fewer options than before. We've been coming here since the good old days too and it's apparent that it's not as amazing as before. The unlimited lobster is really the only thing that sets this buffet apart, and while I understand you won't find that at most other buffets, it's still hard to justify $135 per person for the overall experience we had. We won't be coming back.

BRUNCH REVIEW! Food: 5/5…read moreService: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Located inside of Foodland Farms Kapolei, this place is easy to find. Lots of parking available as well since this is part of a shopping center. Made reservations via OpenTable and glad that I did because I noticed this place was pretty busy for brunch. I believe brunch is on Saturdays and Sundays. My party and I shared the Korean Chicken & Mochi Waffles and the Two Eggs with Anykine Fried Rice and Portuguese Sausage. We also ordered a bottle of mimosa to share. Portions aren't really big but this was enough food for the both of us. Food was delicious and we recommend ordering them. We didn't realize that the spread for the mochi waffles was wasabi-based, so beware if you aren't a fan of wasabi. Our server was friendly and helpful. I loved the ambiance of this place. I highly recommend avoiding this place if you are planning a special occasion--or any meal at all. Our experience was a disaster from start to finish: * The Birthday Guest's Meal: The birthday guy ordered the steak frites. The center of his steak arrived raw, and his fries were soggy, limp, and stringy. * The Burger: My other friend ordered a burger. It was entirely uninspired and nothing special; he ended up leaving a quarter of it behind on the plate. * The Anykine Salad: (MORE LIKE WASABI KINE SALAD) I initially ordered the Anykine Salad with chicken and absolutely hated it. The entire dish tasted overwhelmingly of nothing but wasabi, and the chicken was so incredibly dry it could have been a prop. * The Dessert: Our server was kind enough to take the salad away. Because I felt awkward sitting at the table without food, I decided to try the chocolate mud pie as a replacement. It was severely freezer-burned and so rock-hard that trying to cut it with a steak knife nearly split the ceramic plate. Nobody at the table enjoyed it and since we paid for it, ate what we could handle, and we left a quarter of it behind yet again. The only saving grace was our server, who was attentive enough to clear the inedible dishes. However, the kitchen's performance was completely unacceptable. I feel terrible for bringing my best friend here for his birthday and subjecting him to such a miserable experience. Save your money and go somewhere else that actually cares about food quality.

I told the cashier I wanted to substitute but she recommended I just do the eggs and potatoes a la carte as it's cheaper and I don't have to buy food I can't eat. You order at the cashier and then sit outside and wait for your food. Since it's outdoor seating there are dozens of wild birds on the tables looking to get some crumbs. There are signs that say not to feed them but plenty of people do and as a result, they never leave. After a few minutes I received a huge portion of potatoes and eggs. The potatoes were seasoned well and tasted freshly made. It definitely wasn't frozen but chopped and fried locally. The eggs were okay, nothing to write home about but with the right amount of salt, pepper, and hot sauce I found them pretty good. I ended up not finishing the eggs because of how large the portions were. I ended up getting a chocolate croissant to go which was delicious. I would have eaten them all week if they weren't $8.
