Worse Dunkin' Donuts in lake county manager doesn't speak ENGLISH! the employees don't know the menu and the donuts are always stale!

Too much plastic, but good coffee, good selection of iced coffee drinks, quick service, reasonable prices. Adequate parking lot. Seems others have had worse experiences, but not me. read more

Went thru the drive thru and wanted a cup of decaf. They said they were out for the night. I asked if he could make a new pot and was told no. So I asked about regular coffee and asked what time it was made and i got a response of it wad made when it was made. I asked again the time and he said when it was suppose to be made. The food is Dunkin, you know what you're getting. The issue I have with this place is the design of the drive through. It is probably the busiest DD I have ever seen, and is clearly not staffed to accommodate this. The line of cars is routinely out onto the street, and also feeds in from two other places. Do not be in a hurry if you come here. The store itself is closed to customers, so figure you'll be here 10-15 min in your car. I am sure it is a very profitable location, and given that Fox Lake mostly provisions the need of people who want booze and gambling, this is mostly the only game in town for coffee on the go. read more

This location is hit or miss. They need to repeat your order because 99% of the time you will get the wrong items or the wrong items in your coffee. You pull up and they stare at you, tell me how much you want? You have to check everything. I always order the power sandwich. The last 5 times I ordered it, it was correct once. They will give you a donut or some other kind of thing not the food you ordered. Coffee with cream is what I drink sometimes I have no cream, cream and sugar, just sugar or nothing in it. I don't get upset with them because I know they are just trying to get by like the rest of us. Just make sure to read the little stickers or repeat the order back to the customer. That way I'm not holding up the line or I'm being held up. read more

Even when you try to be nice and take your order slow so they don't fuck it up. They still somehow fuck it up. I asked the lady repeatedly if she's got my order correct. I ordered everything slow to try to make it easy for them. I know Dunkin doesn't pay their employees well so I wanted to be a nice customer. But you still somehow fuck everything up. I waited 30 minutes for my sausage egg&cheese wrap (no exaggeration) i reminded the guy who took my order that i still havent received it and he didn't even remember that i had ordered one. no big deal. about 10 minutes later, i get one, but whoever made it forgot to add the egg. so i took the wrap back and showed the same worker, and he shrugged and didn't know what to do. i asked him to make another one, but it didn't happen and he didnt offer an apology or anything. In the same order, I also ordered a hot coffee. Although the coffee was hot, it tasted like it may have been sitting there for several hours and was burnt. i also could not get a replacement for that. Even tho the coffee tasted bad, i still felt that i needed a little more caffiene, so i inquired about the price for a refill. Apparently, nobody in the store knows how much a refill is and after a few minutes, he came up with $2.89 which was more than my original cup of coffee. I think all the employees here may need to be drug tested. During my dine-in visit, i noticed 5 other customers that ordered from the drive-thru and were missing items. I would very much like a refund since the person behind the counter and his supervisor were both incapable of handling anything at all. I do have one nice thing to say. There was a new hire there that was working very hard and was very hospitable toward my guest and I. I thought her customer service skills were top notch! i did not ask her name, but she was the only new person there. Besides always being rushed while ordering your food in drive threw, your bagels are either not toasted at all with a little cream cheese slapped in the middle or it's toasted pretty good but there's enough cream cheese for 5 bagels and it's soggy. read more

Got a dozen to go on the 9th of May. Terrible had to be at least day old donuts. By noon they were to stale to eat had one tasted stale broke the next one in half all the chocolate frosting fell off. Threw the rest to the birds. read more

Anytime I've gone here for a coffee it's either wrong or they make it horribly. Anytime I've gotten a breakfast sandwich it's always been cold and barely toasted. They need to have someone come in there and show them what to do. read more

These folks are super fast, always accurate, and friendly as can be. The downside is the parking situation. Occasionally the line will snake out the doors, but they are efficient and move the crowd through quickly, all with a smile on their face. read more

The morning crew is OUTSTANDING! I'm sure afternoon is too I just don't go in the afternoon. As I'm waiting for my order, the girl that's always there and I will get her name next time remembered 3 customers in a row and what they drank! NOW THAT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE! This is such a wee Dunkin Donuts it's almost precious. One could easily drive past it if they didn't know it was there, as my comrades and I almost did as we went careening across the intersection when we spotted it. Being that Fox Lake is a population of merely 10k, this seems to be a popular place to hangout, especially when the weather is nice enough to permit outdoor seating around the corner. There was quite a line for a Thursday afternoon and the staff seemed a little swamped (and therefore were moving a pinch slow), but they were keeping their cool and maintained a pleasant attitude to all of their customers. I liked how this location made a charming effort to decorate for Fall/Halloween, again adding to that quaint small town feel despite DD being such a large chain. I know most DDs do this, but they did a nice job. Other than that, prices and menu were the same as any. They made a tasty drink and a tasty experience. This has got to be the most efficient DD I've ever been to! Small as can be, located in a weird corner of the plaza and definitely the worst parking lot situation for customers. It is always busy but it doesn't matter because you get your coffee and donuts quickly every time. Been here dozens of times (like my donuts) and they've never messed up my order - that is saying something. Also, it's only a block from the fox lake train station so it makes for a good stop before or after a long ride to the city. read more

Would zero star if possible usually come here weekly, almost everyday. Some times the coffee tastes like dishwater. Today I ordered a latte with whipcream and I immediately noticed a sour smell.
