I ordered a bacon egg and cheese biscuit, a donut, and some plain biscuits to take home with me. Very ho hum and disappointing on all three items. I didn't finish the donut and the plain biscuits were a bust- lacked fluffiness and tenderness. The bacon egg and cheese biscuit was the best thing I ordered and even I struggled to get through all the herbs in the egg. (It is not necessary to taste like like the front yard). I failed to take pics of my food. My bad.

We were NOT DISAPPOINTED in the least. Ice cream is made daily, in fact while we were there it was being made! The selection of flavors were good, definitely not 31 flavors which was just fine bc the flavors offered covered all one needs. For the price, OMGosh the serving size is OUTSTANDING (single serving in the cup)!!! We were in ice cream heaven. We thought for the price of a sundae it was a bargain especially the size of it (I took pics of some from a couple ladies who bought one). The young gals were very friendly with excellent customer service - Cassie especially. The taste was delicious and very creamy packed with flavor. They also make mini donuts which goes in one of the sundaes they offer but I was also told during Apple season, they are Apple flavored. Definitely already planning a return visit in October. Also plenty of space to eat inside and out on the patio. They do have a drive through too and ample parking behind the shop.

I came for the apple fritters, which were highly praised by other reviewers. My fritter was good,…read moredon't get me wrong, but fell short of better examples from donut shops like Ava's. Instead of dense, juicy apple morsels and a sugary cinnamon-rich crunch, the center was oddly doughy and a bit insipid. I tried a loaf of "sourdough" bread which lacked the crumb, crust and flavor I expected. It ate rather like a brioche; I suspect it was simply mislabeled, so there's no point in being harsh about it. Everything changed when I laid eyes on the crumb-topped peach pie, a creation of singular beauty. Love at first sight, it turns out, is real, and everything the appearance promised was delivered in the first bite. It was transcendent. My family devoured this gift from heaven at room temperature, heated à la mode, and in clandestine fingerfuls stolen greedily from the box. This pie will be part of every summer from now on.

I was happy with the salad I made at another Ingles so figured I'd try this one. The store was set up differently than the other Ingles I had been to while trying to find a working Redbox. But I figured out where the section I wanted was and got started. Their salads and other items seem popular. They had pizza, subs, and other options. There was even an olive bar with different types of olives. I wanted a cookie and found them but there weren't any bags to put one in just boxes. So that is how I got the slice of cake. The German Chocolate cake was delicious. I am sure I will return here for other meals when I return to Flat Rock in the fall.

I've been to a lot of pho restaurants or restaurants that have pho. This was definitely different…read more You only have 3 choices of protein to have in the pho, beef, shrimp, and calamari, or all three. Of course I chose beef but it wasn't good part of the beef. The spice level option was also different. I'm used to having chilli oil on the table and I can put as much as I want. The levels, 1-5, doesn't really allow me to experiment with the spice. Secondly, I had to get my own water, and put up my dishes when I was done. THAT was different. Lastly, the pho brother was not what I was used to. It didn't have that authentic taste and beefy taste. It wasn't bad but it definitely tasted like it already had hoisin and siracha in it. And the white onions were definitely cut too thick and so much in my pho. On top of that, the broth was a little foggy. 1-10, the broth would be a 6 for me. I didn't order anything else because pho is my to go. Go try it out and see what you think! 2.5-3 overall everything.
