First time a Jeter Mountain farm! We are invited here with some friends and I'm so glad we came. The view and vibe of the place was amazing. The menu and experiences are even better. If you love anything Apple related, you must check out this place. I started off with some delicious coffee and cider donuts. Then I did a cider flight. Everything was amazing! I recommend sitting in the rocking chairs and enjoying the view of the mountains in the back ground. We did not do any Apple picking but it looked fun and we will have to try it next time we are there.
JMF just gets better with every season. Our family enjoyed the fresh blueberry ice cream and cannot wait to have burgers our next visit. The coffees are the cafe never disappoint. My only suggestion would be bigger sizes:) We always bring apple butter bbq sauce home along with donuts and picked honey crisp apples. Our family will continue coming back and enjoying all of the amenities this farm offers to level up the experience.

Sprawling farm with just about every activity you can think of. Lots of apples, grapes and berries. Plenty of room for your family and friends. The apples in the bins at the market are about half price the apples in the orchard. And you get a larger selection from the market. $2.50 for a bottle of water. You guys can do better than that. It's a necessity on the farm and in that sun. Try not to gouge the client too much for it. The BBQ joint needs some help. The serve a plain pulled pork sandwich with absolutely nothing else besides a choice between two sauces. Where's the pickles, onion and peppers? Do you even BBQ?
This was my first year visiting the location. It is a little ways out of the way. I tend to go to another location right off the Hendersonville exit. This place is huge. Plenty of parking and nostalgic vibes. The property itself if so beautiful. I parked far away but I enjoyed the walk up to the property due to the fall views. The property had apple picking, a drinking parlor, a store, a coffee shop, a creamery, a bakery, a smoke house, and lots of walking trials. The general store on property has candles, cooking stuff, booked, clothes, apples, recipes, clothing...pretty much anything you can think of. I loved it! The property also makes their own cider. I would have love to spend a whole day here. Clean bathrooms, family gives, and good service. This place does get crowded in the fall so expect to wait in line. I can't wait to go back next year!
Absolutely loved this gem!! The bbq restaurant was delicious - pulled pork, yummy sauces, and sides (potato salad, mac, and slaw) were all excellent. They even had a grass fed beef hot dog, which is so refreshing to see when you usually accept that any hot dog you get is going to be nasty mystery meat. The bakery had delicious apple pie and an outstanding chocolate chip cookie (served warm). The whole place is a serious operation. The lines look long but they move super fast. You really can't beat a day trip here, overlooking the apple orchards and flower gardens. We would love to come back on our next trip to Asheville. Make sure to hike to high falls and hooker falls before or after as they are beautiful and close by.
This farm is absolutely stunning. All the staff is friendly and care about your safety. The apple cider doughnuts are a must do when you're here, check out the store and grab an apple salsa and thank me later. They had a live bluegrass band playing on Saturday early afternoon that was so entertaining. Grab a hard cider next door and enjoy the music. We picked apples for $32 (a bucket) and they have the options to pick flowers and blueberries as well. The grounds are well taken care of and really embodies North Carolina wildlife and culture. A must do when in town, we drove an hour away from our home to visit and will be bringing everyone here. Thank you!
This place is awesome. Well curated. Apples are delicious though the selection is limited. Highly suggest the Melrose apples. The tractor ride up the mountain makes it far more enjoyable than walking up the mountain at nearby orchards. However strongly recommend getting there before 10AM. This place gets super packed. The kids fun area is large and has a lot of things for kids of all sizes. The cider bar is great. The whiskey barrel cider is hardcore whiskey flavor though (watch out!). The donuts are fresh. The market has a ton of fun things to buy. Although less food type stuff compared to others. They don't have little jars of Apple butter oddly. The bakery and ice cream are delicious. The smokehouse is good too (but it's mostly small plates). It's well organized and they have great service. It's very clean and well done.
This place was super amazing! We've gone here twice we had a great time picking apples grapes blueberries. We enjoyed the apple cider doughnuts and the BBQ. The Mountain View was amazing. We purchased so many other items from the store as well. The staff was so helpful with our purchases as well as going to the orchards.
I'm not sure if I can properly review Jeter Mountain Farm & hit all the high spots, because there are many! But I will try. So Kat and I have been here a few times, and this time we did our annual fall pumpkin haul that we like to do as well. Situated on a hill with gentle slopes on the base of the NC mountains, Jeter has something everyone would enjoy. The scenery is just amazing. From the apple orchards that run the hills, to the sweeping mountain panorama, to the wildflowers and all the people out here having a good time, Jeter Mountain will make your heart feel happy. So if your wife springs you with the old "hey let's go to the pumpkin patch at Jeter" on your Saturday morning, don't worry bro, you're going to have a good time. I say that because they make some damn good hard cider! Be careful with it, it likes to sneak up on you after the 3rd or 4th pint. They also make apple donuts on site, and have a BBQ restaurant on site that makes great food. I recommend getting their sweet potato soufflé as a side dish, but they're all good honestly. There is a farm store that has a lot of things to take home, from apple butter to candied jalepenos to biscuit mix, a selection of several different types of fresh picked apples and a whole lot more. If you want, you can even get a basket and wander into the orchard to pick your own. Sometimes there's live music, other highlights include tractor rides into the farm from the parking lot, and a whole lot more. This place is just the best way to spend a nice afternoon with the family. I look forward to coming back again & again as the years go by.

Great family outing. There is close up handicap parking if you get here early. Apples and flowers on this trip. Finished off with hot apple cider donuts. All of the employees are polite and willing to help. This is a very casual atmosphere with a lot of picnic tables to eat at.. If you don't want apples, you can get a ride on the tractor through the farm. Check them out. read more

If you've not been here before, it's a must! A gorgeous place on top of the mountain with rolling hills of apples, peaches, blackberries, blueberries and much more. Check the website to see what you can pick, cuz each day's different. They've got pulled pork sandwiches, Mac n cheese, cider both N/A and 6.5% abv, tasty! The homemade donuts were really tasty too! Plenty of seats, live music, very friendly folks, and a huge market for fruits, jelly, jams, hats and things. And there's a large kids play area with hoops, hay and climbing. read more

Great experience at Jeter Mountain Farm. Picking your own apples was fun. The apples available for picking when we were there were Mutsu, Golden Delicious and Gala. All were very good and juicy. The tractor ride to the orchards was very convenient and there also seemed to be one ready so no waiting to or from the orchard. We had lunch from the BBQ truck which was ok nothing special but nice to have since there's not much else around. The apple cider donuts were best we've ever had and we're still hot. Also the apple hand pie was really good. Don't miss the hard ciders as well. They were good and not too sweet which we liked. There's a nice market inside with lots of items that they make, shirts, etc. We'll be back sooner than later and even with the hour and half drive each way. read more
We were staying in the area for the weekend and Jeter Mountain was right down the road. My wife and I both love ciders so we were off to JMF. What an amazing place!!! There are so many different options with this farm. You can go apple picking, grab some bbq, get some cider, enjoy some apple pies or just grab some things to go from the market. I am sure that I missed something there. The farm is beautiful, and it is truly a destination. Honestly I wish that we would have discovered this earlier and that they stayed open later. We arrived just as they were opening, which I highly recommend because they get busy. We did a quick walk around and decided to partake in some apple pies. 2 became 4 which became 8. Yes they are that good. At one point I asked the lady if I could just run a tab and she laughed. We hung out for a bit enjoying the live music and then decided to grab some other things from the market and head home. So a six pack of hard cider, regular apple cider, bag of honeycrisp apples and a bunch of flowers, we finally started home. It was a great morning stop and hated to leave. I wish that we lived closer. Please support this family farm. read more

This area is known for its apple orchards and when I first moved here I kept hearing people talk about their fall traditions of visiting an orchard. From how everyone talked, I got this idealized vision of what it would be like, and many orchards here do have a nice charm, but they all follow the same basic formula: pick your apples, buy your cider donuts, and maybe visit the corn maze. It wasn't until discovering Jeter Mountain that my hopes were fulfilled. This place is the Biltmore Estate of apple orchards. If your idea of visiting an orchard is as bougie as mine, this is the place you should go. The store has apples (of course) that you can pick out of a bin if picking off a tree isn't your thing, but beyond that it's like visiting a giant boutique store with all the mountain-inspired stuff you could ever want. Connected to it is a full coffee shop making hand-crafted espresso drinks that are really tasty and pair perfectly with the made to order cider donuts. Across the courtyard is the cider house where you can get cider slushies and flights of hard cider. And just up the hill is a permanent bbq food truck that makes some really tasty lunches. If picking apples is your thing, they have free "hayrides" that pick up right in front of the main building and drop you off at a couple key points for apple picking, and then they drive you back when you're done. They're building a hedge maze so that instead of a temporary corn maze, it'll be a year-round fixture. Back at the main building, there's a gigantic, indoor playground for the kids, and yes, you can bring your food and drink to the row of stools along the edge. This place is so fancy that I could leave a 5-star review about a visit to the restrooms! I'll spare you the details, but it's a very pleasant experience. Pro tip: if you need a break from the crowds, go up the stairs in the coffee shop for a balcony with incredible views. read more

The place is HUGE and beautiful! Everyone was sweet and very helpful. I did not have the meal from the food truck but the goodies ( Apple pie and apple donuts) were delicious! The basket prices were a bit high so I recommend buying prepackaged apples in the shop. The Coffee shop was so cute! Will be back in the fall! read more

Plan your day accordingly. Plan to spend the day here. Such a peaceful and delightful place to go. Worth the scenic drive . The line for u-pick was long but it goes by fast as they fill up the tractor driven covered wagons to go pick the peaches. Its not a one time visit either because they always have something new. We decided no u-pick today. Just wanted some apple cider donuts and pies with a good coffee. Sit back and listen to the 2 man band. Partially covered. They have ciders too. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic. You can taken the kids of all ages to watch them make the donuts which is always fun. We will come back again for the bbq truck as it was amazing last year. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. A huge playground inside for kids. A store that is forever changing. Their pickled jalapenos are never to be passed up. We always get 3 for our pantry. It's super clean and the staff is incredibly friendly. We will be back soon!!! Found out a friend had their wedding here. This would be such a beautiful venue. read more

We absolutely love coming here! The smokehouse bbq is so delicious and let's not forget the sweet potato soufflé it's amazing! We also love the apple cinnamon donuts, the cute and delicious coffee shop, even the market is filled with loads of goodies, and the entire set up is just beyond beautiful, literally even the bathrooms are gorgeous and clean, they have live music, beautiful scenery and the staff is always super friendly and I can't rave about this place enough! Such a delightful experience every single time. Thank you for sharing the beauty of it! read more

This place is a hidden gem and I'm so happy I got to visit before news spreads about how wonderful it is and it becomes crowded. No lines for anything (visited at 1:30 on a Saturday). The wagon ride was fun and gave great views of all the farm has to offer. There were so many apples on the U-Pick trees; we filled up our bucket in no time. It's $25 per bucket for U-Pick. They also have mix and match apples for $7 a bag in their shop. After being at another local orchard last weekend that had a ~2 hour wait for apple cider donuts, it was refreshing to get them with zero line and still made fresh! Bathrooms are very nice as well. Be mindful of their hours as they close at 3 on Saturdays. I agree with another reviewer in calling this farm "magical." read more
