When Skytop was like a crazy tourist attraction with thousands of people and lines literally 30-40 people deep, drop into McGregors small roadside stand & orchard. Owner, Stephen was very friendly and helpful. They are a Certified SC Grown business. Small batch cider made with (at least this batch) 8 different apple varieties. Lots of apple choices, heirloom tomatoes, and other veggies. And, they have only been open since May 2021. I applaude anyone who opened a small business during the past difficult year. We detoured off of 25 due to an accident and backed up traffic, hit HWY 11 eastbound and did a upturn when we spotted McGregors at Tigerville Rd. Oh, and they do have some frozen butchered meat products also! Great destination spot for a Sunday drive.

What a great find! A perfect place to pick your own apples (several varieties) in a calm beautiful setting. The orchard is in a very central location with no crazy drives up a winding mountain. We brought our older teens and they actually had fun (no easy feat with teens)! Our internet is still out from Hurricane Helene and this is just what we needed; time outside all together. The staff is wonderful, very kind, and their stand/store has great homemade products. We picked up some sourdough bread and fig preserves! We left with 2 huge bushels of apples, some treats, and a collection of great memories of time well spent...together.

What a beautiful place to stop by! Nice little orchard. Lots to offer and the older gentleman is very kind. Nice produce selection as well. Also the cat was the highlight for the family!

Bought a 12 dollar watermelon there and it was rotten all the way through. Don't think they protect their produce .

At the entrance gate, you are greeted by one of the friendly workers. It is $5 to enter and park at the lavender you-pick farm. Follow the gravel road down to the parking area. Check out the little store where you'll find all things lavender: lavender bar soap, simple syrup, candles, hand soaps, baking mixes, deodorant, infused honey, and teas. And they even have lavender honey ice cream and lavender cookies! Both were excellent!! To do the you-pick lavender, you pay $8 for a full bunch. This is a really fun, relaxing activity to do (with a beautiful setting and nice smells!) They have nice and clean restroom facilities. The family that owns and runs the farm is so friendly. This is such a charming, unique thing to experience in the Landrum area.
