Since they serve food--a plus given the remote location--we were able to enjoy a full experience without needing to go elsewhere. We had the option to sit indoors or outdoors and chose the upper outdoor patio to enjoy the live music, while still keeping a comfortable distance so it wouldn't be too loud for Luna. I initially wanted to sit on the lower patio, which had heaters, but it was a bit of a walk to the bar and there weren't other guests down there at the time. When I mentioned being cold, a staff member kindly brought out a personal heater for me, which was a thoughtful touch. Several employees stopped by to chat about Luna--my favorite subject-and we bonded over our shared love for Labradors. The food and wine were both excellent; we even took home a few bottles. The view from this location was stunning--our favorite of the trip. It was the perfect place to sip wine, enjoy the scenery, and relax with our best pup by our side.

We also took some time to explore the grounds, which was fun, and loved seeing the animals out back. Overall, a great experience and definitely worth the stop. Would absolutely go back.

I always appreciate learning about the wine and wine makers and he was extremely educated on all things Eagle Mountain Vineyards from the history to the story behind the wines. They create delicious and unique wines that are suitable for every palate. We did a tasting for about $20 a person and each wine was somehow better and better as we went down the list. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful with superb landscape and lots of bird watching. They have really created an oasis that people need to know about, but at the same time I kind of want to keep the secret to myself because that's how good it is. The setup is a little weird; it felt like the wine shop was set up in someone's garage and not really a legitimate wine shop. Their indoor seating was a little bit awkward and having a place for larger groups like ours to sit for a full tasting would've been appreciated. As it was, we had to crowd around a small bar table. The staff were friendly though, so overall it was quite a nice experience considering this is in somewhat rural Georgia. The bathroom setup is weird... again, didn't feel like I expected a winery to feel because the bathrooms are in a true 'outhouse' but they were clean. So that's just my personal preference. If the environment had been better suited to cold/rainy weather and had better seating options, we probably would've stayed longer. Not a bad place to stop though!
