My crew had two drip coffees, strawberry slushie, and a blueberry and cheese danish. They have multiple carafes of drip coffee available, and I settled on the Breakfast Blend. The service was excellent, from the person who helped us with the danish, to the person who helped my kiddo decide on their drink. But the best service was to have an encounter with the coffee roaster himself. We were able to witness the original, untreated coffee beans, with their greenish hue. We could then see the vat with the roasted bean and compare. To our luck, we only had to wait 10° to see freshly roasted beans come out! Who needs any other entertainment when you can learn about where your coffee comes from and how it goes from start to finish. We actually came here for their whole bean coffee, and everything else was an unexpected bonus. We picked the Organic Guatemalan Roast, since we are creatures of habit. They ground our coffee for us, we paid, and went off on our journey a little more relaxed than when we came in. Definitely a place to stop when you're in the area. We love their coffee and their hospitality.

I was so abundantly happy with the ambience it really resembled a coffee shop that I would go to. I recommend this to anybody, who wants to get caffeinated and wants to have a overdose of caffeine. So for myself, being a barista was a barista this place makes me feel at home, knowing that I can get exact good great coffee from a local coffee shop. I felt coffee around here lacks It's zing Zhang from other coffee shops I'm on about a restaurant with a coffee shop. I just don't think that it works well.. I found that cup and saucer does exactly what I want for a coffee shop I'm not bashing your coffee shop. The parking lot was chock full of Porsche 911s today and I have no idea what event was happening but seeing that many high performance cars lined up in a tiny mountain town was pretty cool and honestly added to the whole vibe of the morning. Unfortunately, they were closed but there was one guy there who was so kind and offered to make us something anyways when he could have easily stated that they were closed and turned us away. I ordered an iced caramel latte and it was incredible!! Wonderful coffee, very cute little place, and incredible customer service. We are so glad we stopped by and appreciate the accommodation! To anyone passing through or visiting Lake Lure, I can't recommend this place enough! Though I will say, the hours on Google are the correct hours.
