For jarring my memory and giving me memories to fix not writing a great review for this place. We traveled to Brevard back in 2022 for one of our annual leaf viewing tours. Fun fact about Brevard! There are white squirrels everywhere. There are also regular brown squirrels too. My wife told me about this before we got here but it's strange, there are so many of them. One of the oddest things I find is that there are no mixed squirrels. Like kinda brown, or kinda white, it's either one or the other. They hang together, surely they get it on. What the hell is going on here?!?!? Where did they come from? Why haven't they spread to other areas?? Anyway.... About this bakery. We stopped by here a few times for meals and snacks. Most of it was just pretty good and nothing to really write home (lol) about. I did not know this at the time and did not truly savor the moment well enough. I had the absolute best pastry I have ever had in my life here. I often think back to it and when I see a similar looking pastry only to be let down when I try it. It was the scone to beat all other scones!!! So freaking good!! Orange Pistachio Coriander was the flavor and nothing will ever beat it I am afraid!!
