This Ingles is huge. The store was very clean and well maintained. I couldn't figure out where to go for dinner. I knew I wouldn't stop at one place though. I was happy with the salad I made at another Ingles so figured I'd try this one. The store was set up differently than the other Ingles I had been to while trying to find a working Redbox. But I figured out where the section I wanted was and got started. Their salads and other items seem popular. They had pizza, subs, and other options. There was even an olive bar with different types of olives. I wanted a cookie and found them but there weren't any bags to put one in just boxes. So that is how I got the slice of cake. The German Chocolate cake was delicious. I am sure I will return here for other meals when I return to Flat Rock in the fall. read more

This store puts all my local grocers in Georgia to shame. Clean, well stocked, fresh, salad and food bars, friendly staff, nice restrooms. Good variety of produce, meats and seafood. The bakery has seasonal stuff like German Stollen, something I'd never see at Kroger or Publix. read more

The employees here do a good job and are friendly and they make delicious food in the deli, especially the chicken fingers. My biggest complaint is that the deli is CRAMPED. They tried to pack soo much stuff in the deli that you have to be an acrobat just to move around. read more

I'm in the area every Saturday for church, so I decided to drop in for some donuts for church. I got a dozen assorted, with apple fritters(my favorite), glazed donuts and chocolate glazed. I must say that I'm very impressed with this Ingles. It's has so many different items, from the hot bars, the salad bar. A place to get frozen drinks, fountain drinks, you can make your own milk shakes and different kinds of nut butters. A sub station along with the deli.They even have a Starbucks located in the store . I wish the Ingles in Easley was as nice as this one, though our Ingles is a nice store, we just don't have it going on like this Ingles! I'm a little jealous, I'll be stopping by again, to check out more of what this Ingles has to offer. read more

Every time that there is something I like in the deli they quit making it. Ex: fried catfish on Friday. Tuna salad, none made since last week, I get stuck with the overprocessed Laura lyn pre packaged brand that sucks, no sunflower seeds for salad bar toppings etc. Other than the deli it's a great store to shop at. read more

This place is amazing! So many food selections and the staff are very helpful. The amazing guy who prepares the sushi made me two veggie rolls, fresh! He was very friendly as well as passionate about the art of sushi making which was so refreshing to experience. I learned a couple of things from him. The woman who made my husband sub was also very friendly and had a great sense of humor. I didn't stop in the alcohol area as we were traveling through. It looks to be enormous since one half of the store says "Wine" on the outside. I am going to make it a point to stop here every single time we pass through. Oh! If I could give negative stars I would. Went in at night they had a Item on sale 8 for 10 dollars got home checked receipt found out they didn't give me the advertised sale price, called they said that I could come in next day and they would take care of it. Went in next day to get taken care of and they took down the advertised sale and when I went to the manager Jeff and he tried saying it wasn't on sale that a item that was a dollar a item was on sale for the 8 for 10$ which doesn't make any sense he insulted my intelligence and I over heard him talking down and very disrespectful to multiple employees. I will be reporting this to the better business bureau and I highly encourage people to stop shopping at a place where they allowed there managers to treat there employees like garbage actually I think I treat my garbage better than what I saw Mr. Jeff treating his employees and they ripped me off and multiple other people I have talked with have had the same issue so if you don't want to get royally ripped off and treated like dirt and watch the managers treat there employees worse than garbage I would highly recommend not shopping there at this particular Ingles and go the extra mile down to the other Ingles down the road where the people of that ingles even say they shouldn't be doing that to get your shopping done do not give the Ingles on Highland lake your business I strongly encourage a boycott of the Ingles in Flat Rock NC read more

I shop at almost all of the Ingles in Hendersonville, it just depends on where I am at! I love the self checkouts when there are no cashiers but I also like how the cashiers are always friendly. Good options, good prices, happy customer here. They do a good sub also! I tend to come in on days when meat is on sale and just save so much money! read more

The Deli...OMG! Where did that come from? Good food. Crazy wide selection. Really good breakfast. Can't tell you enough about the salad bar either. You can even eat in the sitting area with wifi. Lots of working men eat there...that says alot. read more

This is the best Ingles ever! I wish they had built the one closer to my house (Skyland) like this, but I still make a point to shop here whenever I am out this way, and need groceries. The most extensive selection of any local grocery store and best of all, it is a LOCAL business! Super clean store with great beer selection. Minus the former USAF employee the rest are the rudest people I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Specifically the management, unbelievably rude. The store itself has unlimited potential if they clean house with the staff. This is one huge grocery store, with everything one could want on display. Clean, well lit. Good bakery and deli, butchers working on site. You really need an "Ingles Advantage" card, many discounted items when used. The store is almost too large - if you forget something, the hike back to the milk and eggs is annoying. Most employees friendly, managers always on duty and watchful. Good selection of beer and wine. Gas pump price is lowest in town. Shopped at store tonight item (Fresh step Cat Litter) marked for sale on the shelf. But at the register it rang up a higher price. The check out associate ( Alexis) went and checked the price sale price product was clearly marked on the shelf The sale price was not removed from the shelf she called the Manager a women name unknown she stated the item I had was not the one on sale it was a slightly different fresh step scented product instead of scoop-able. I asked for a rain check and returned the item I had picked up under the sale price. Manager said I could not have a rain check because the sale item listed on the shelf was not in the fly-er. Poor Customer service received at your store by the manager how many other customers are deceived by this advertising policy and don't notice when the price rings up higher. So many employees writing bogus reviews, time for a customer review. Doesn't matter when you go to this Ingles, the produce is always rotten. The manager is clueless and even when you complain nothing is done. Fortunately Harris Teeter has a good produce dept. If they replaced management most likely it would improve. A publix will be here one day and then Ingles can pack it up! For now, everyone told me to avoid this store and that is good advice! read more

Employees are morons. "Helpful" attendant at self checkout took over my payment transaction without asking permission and selected "No cash back" without even asking me. Of course I did want cash back, half the reason I was shopping was to get cash for the weekend in a hurry instead of going across town to bank ATM. Then attendant and her supervisor decided they could fake a transaction for me for cash only. My card errored out 4 times and they pretty much told me I was either stupid or a deadbeat, either I had my PIN wrong or no money in bank. Of course I freaked at the denial of the transaction, drove across town to my bank, only to have them laugh at the stupidity of the Ingles clerks because it's a well known fact at the bank that grocery store kiosks will always error out for cash only, yet Ingles was trying to have me do that. Needless to say, this fiasco blew off hours of my precious Saturday and I ended up with a migraine. What absolute freaking idiots work here. I will never go back. read more
